The Mortgage Program for Costco Members

Have used it a couple of times and love it

We were looking to refinance our loan. So we shopped around for the best rates: banks, credit unions, and online lenders. Costco's mortgage program offered the best deal. Just go to costco.com and do a search on "refi" or "mortgage", then answer a few simple questions and you'll get a list of lenders with their offers. We picked the ones with the lowest rates. They contacted us right away through email with their phone numbers. It's worth noting that we have the executive membership. Tip: If you are not an executive member, ask the lender for a quote, it might be worth upgrading. All the best!

Excellent Program
I wish there was more oversight over vendors/mortgage companies, as they are not always thrutful during th eprocess. $low fee is hard to beat.

Program is excellent, be organized with all your financial records.

The company worked with us is NASB. The agent did a good job, honest and best suggestion for us to choose on the locked-in rate. Have a decent appraiser for appraisal on the new construction to enforce the builder to 100% complete the new home before closing. Before we choose, we have several quotes from different lender, NASB gave us the lowest quote which save us about $7K (compared with builder's lender).

The process was very easy and the loan officer at NASB, Alex Madwell, was so easy tonwork with. He understood what my end goal was and his estimation and analysis was on point. He and his team kept my up to date and communicated the process and needs from me and thier commitment to a seamless process. Beginning to close took less than a month, fastest process ever. Thank you to your whole seamless process and the team that made it so seamless.

Strong Mortgage through Costco was the best.

The mortgage program of Costco was five out of five stars. Every lender was very personable and helpful and respectful. The lender I ended up going with what above and beyond and I would give 110% to.

The interest rates and closing costs are unbeatable. I've not found anyone who can match the rates and costs.

My family and I have financed and refinanced 8 times using the Costco Mortgage program. The only reason I did not rate it a 5, is that in almost every case, something went wrong during the mortgage and/or closing process. The rates are outstanding, but you need to be prepared for an unexpected complication along the way

I have used Costco mortgage program three times. I like it because the lenders are limited on extra "charges". The only thing I would suggest for users of the program is to make sure the title company is one you're familiar with and you know their fee structure. The borrower can always pick the title company My belief is that lenders use title companies that benefit them. It's not always the best company for the person looking for a loan. The mortgage program is great. I will continue to use it as long as Costco has it's high standards. I am also an executive member.

They were very help and communicative and always willing to answer questions. Their online document portal made sending forms etc very easy.

Some of the lenders are pushy. Some of the lenders do not tell you about hidden fees within the closing costs. You really have to watch out for fees that are not very transparent until the very end of the process when they have already hooked you in and taken much of your time.
