I can’t think of a way, to improve upon the efficiency of this streamlined process. It does take time to complete (such is the complex nature of real estate). I’d recommend the Costco mortgage program to anyone that meets the criteria of a straightforward purchase or refinance.

The Mortgage program for Costco Members connects Costco members with highly competitive mortgage lenders and pricing that can't be beat. Compared to a refinance with my existing mortgage holder I saved over $1,500 in fees on the cost of refinancing my property. This is a great benefit of being a Costco member.

We looked at the ratings and points of the mortgage companies present by Costco. We picked one we thought suitable for our needs - Strong Home. Our rep provided excellent service throughout the whole, tedious process. He answered all of our questions with a quick response. Kudos.

The costco program itself was great. However, the lender I selected through the program (Lending.com), was terrible to work with. They were slow and lacked communication, ultimately costing us money through having to pay for points and loosing the lender credit. I would use the Costco program again, but NOT Lending.com

The entire team at NBKC (including great closer) did an exceptional job start to finish. Extremely accessible throughout the process. Start to finish refi in 3-4 weeks, best rates through Costco Mortgage NBKC relationship, great transparency, smooth closing, and writing this now that servicing has begun and made first monthly payment with a well functioning website. It's the real deal, and Matt shepherded it through answering all questions. Thanks so much and would certainly refer folks to you and NBKC in the future! Costco had 4 banks competing for our business all with great offers, just hard to pick because they were all so good.

The companies I dealt with were reputable and answered all my questions and reveiwed all of my options. also going through Costco there are some cost advantages.
