I had a tyre blowout on the motorway last week. Scary stuff! When I managed to pull over onto the hard shoulder, I rang them, told them what had happened and that I was on my own. I got told it would be 60-90 minutes, which was longer than any other breakdown company I'd ever used before. Egertons (who they had used for this callout) rang me to confirm my location and subsequently sent me a text to say they would be there are 14.14 (I had rung at approx 12:55). I had a call from the recovery man at 13:57 to ask again where I was - he said he would be half an hour. He eventually got there at approx 14:35, so approx an hour and 40 minutes after I'd called. Can't fault the man who turned up, he was very nice and polite and changed the tyre in about five minutes - he's the only reason I've given two stars, otherwise it would have been one. They've just emailed me to say my cover is due for renewal, but will not be using them again.

If you go to the website the 4 start cover is £32.95. However, if you are an existing customer and go to renew the same policy comes up as £42! These companies that try and rip you off for being loyal really annoy me! £42 is still relatively cheap but I'll be making a lot more effort at looking elsewhere next year.

A very good European car breakdown insurance at a price which is good on your wallet.

I have been a member of this company for a number of years, and have had to use them three times, once in Birmingham and twice in East Anglia. Every time the service has been wonderful. I have never had to wait longer than an hour, and when help arrives they are ready for recovery (no waiting for a second vehicle). The level of cover available is unbeatable at three times the price!! All in all ***I LOVE THIS COMPANY***

The first time I've ever had to use them...my daughter waited OVER 3 HOURS, no explanation, she was told one hour then not given any further information, so from 6 till after 9 pm she waited and waited. I shall never use this company again. The operator was really helpful, but what appalling service

Reasonable price and good service

I was looking for a new breakdown cover policy due to a massive increase in renewal price (without any callouts)and checked the ratings of the companies who gave quotes. They vary from dreadful to good. I choose Covermybreakdown on price and good reviews. I had a query before buying, rang the company and the query was sorted quickly and clearly. That was a good sign. Buying was easy and clear and printing documents was very easy. I have not had to call them for breakdown and therefore cannot comment on this part of the operation.

Just renewed our cover for this year, can't really give a review as fortunately we haven't need your services but like the cover and the price.

I found the web site easy to understand and was able to order the Car Breakdown Service with little trouble. However I did find it difficult to download the Policy Document. After an email, I was sent a new copy to download which was successful. I am very happy with the service I have received so far.

Reliable and value for money

Well worth investing in Car Breakdown cover, good price though not as cheap as you can get for being a first time user, extra £10 for me.Still cheaper than other companies though.

It's better to answer the customer call within at least one minute and it would be better to have a free of charge customer service Number, I'm very dislike to perchase from this campany.
