Don't think cryptonomy had any intention of honoring the 12 month contracts I'd taken out on their staking platform. 7 out of 9 contracts are now well past maturity n they haven't honored any of them.... See more

Officially 92 days delayed on fixed contracts and launch pool.
The last response was because I’m a VIP2 my case has been escalated and I will hear from one of the team to get the situation resolved. I’ve had no emails. I’m constantly checking in and clearing my spam so I can see if it has come through or not.when am I going to get my money? I’m literally struggling financially while you’ve got over a quarter of £1 million of mine. I need it…. It’s been long enough now. Give me MY MONEY!!!!

No Service, Site Down, No Email Response, What is going on
I see there are several comments about difficulties withdrawing Crypto from your Cryptonomy Wallet.
When I tried to withdraw the Wallet Withdrawal somehow merged my wallet and my Flexible into a 12 month Fixed Term contract.
To date I am still awaiting a response.
Additionally I have several 12 month contracts still running with a total investment (Principal Amount and Accrued Interest) in excess of USD800,000 and getting the run around.
FINALLY 2024-04-29
Received a response and I am told I made a mistake.
When processing a WITHDRAWAL the Coins went to a FIXED TERM contract and took all FLEXIBLE Interest Account of the same coin into a single FIXED TERM 12 month contract and NOT REVERSABLE??
How does this happen? And not willing to listen nor rectify.

Website is now down
Website is now down. Has been over 24h. I had there bitcoins in fixed deposit interest account but they have been there now allmost 5 months over 1 year I made the contract for which was maximum time to be created.
So I would like to know why is website down and why I have only received vague answers from customer service regarding my bitcoin refunds? Every other coin I put there has come back to me in due time but now this bitcoin issue + site does not working really worries me.
Thank you!

Had a flex account with monthly payout/deposit amount. When I attempted to move my monthly payout off cryptonomy they locked my account into a one year fixed account with no monthly payout. This company will steal your crypto and keep it locked. Do not ever send crypto to them.

Follow-up review 3 months later.
OK, so a few months back I wrote a review which was pretty direct, three months later, I am now looking to follow that up - it's only fair if you write a negative review based on an experience, that should that experience change, you follow that up.
Originally, I had issues with transfer / locking of funds. The customer support did communicate to try to resolve this and did put in place an action to address my concerns.
I am now three months into that, and have received monthly interest / payments based on my allocated funds, without a single problem. There has been zero issues with transferring my awarded funds out of my account, and to be fair, the yield I am getting off my allocation is more than fair.
So, I will follow up one more time, in another three months, to report on consistency. But for now, I will say that the process does work, I am able to withdraw my interest / monthly payments without issue, and the support from the chat team is still consistent.
Conclusion: I actually would recommend Cryptonomy if you are looking to find somewhere to create yield off your crypto.
This review is following my initial challenging review, no-one has asked me to do this, nor has there been any communication with anyone about the content prior to posting. This is my honest opinion, based on my actual experience. If my experience continues as it has been for the last three months, for the next three months, I will be following this up with a 5 star - you must be fair both ways with your reviews if you want people to take them seriously.

Cryptonomy and their YouTube schillers are 100% Scammers
Cryptonomy is 100% a scam operation as advised by the UK Financial Conduct Authority, Kraken, Binance, Google and most of the major banks.
Once your funds investment term expires they relock them up for another year. In reality your funds have been cashed out and spent by the company the minute you transfer to their account.
Don't be a fool like I was and hold onto your coins, however if you have to give them away send them to a trust worthy charity.
If Cryptonomy do every return my funds I will be happy to up date and correct the above statement.
Also note: their standard statement is your emails and complaints are AI generated - do your own research and listen to advise from the FCA and the banks.

I've lost around $200k in crypto with…
UPDATE: Their response to my post is false. They won't pay my crypto back despite many many attempts to plead and negotiate with this Ponzi scam. Thieves. I've lost around $200k in crypto with this filth. They won't pay me back because they have already most likely cashed in my crypto a year ago. They are falsely advertised and promoted by dumb YouTubers for a fee of $200 but they are a Ponzi scheme. At first they paid very modest profits for staking at them until I became a 'VIP' investor. When my crypto matured after a year staking they said market volatility causes them to hang on to the crypto but that I should keep hoping to get it back. It's been months now and it's clear they simply take other people's crypto while promising incredible APR. I've reported them to the Australian authorities and federal police. They say they want to help but instead do the opposite. Scammers. Fraudsters. Thieves. They operate the internet with impunity. What a disgrace. Their legal 'fine print' on their website should tell you they are clearly an organised crime syndicate. DO NOT EVEN CONSIDER IT! I lost all our family savings on this Ponzi. I should have known better.

Total SCAMMERS
Total SCAMMERS! Cryptonomy will not release my crypto even though it has been over 6 months passed it's Fixed expiration date. The crypto I had available in my wallet I tried withdrawing. But Cryptonomy deleted my pending withdraw and created a Launchpool contract locking my crypto for another year against my approval! They will repeat the same excuses over and over again why they cannot release your crypto! Do not use Cryptonomy. It is a complete SCAM!

Likely scam
I’m afraid to say this company are most likely fraudulent. I deposited two different assets on a 12 month fixed contract this contract expired in November 2024 and like many others that have placed a review here and elsewhere the funds have not been released. I have been on the online chat as well as emailed them multiple times and each time I’m fobbed off with the same response about how they will be released soon, or released by the end of the current month. Needless to say, they haven’t been and at this point I don’t expect they ever will be. Avoid this company, if the returns sound to good to be true, they are, lesson learnt.
Update as of 3rd May 2025 - the company replied to my original review with their stock answer that I notice they have provided to several people in a similar situation to myself. My case was then put under the personal management of a member of their customer care team, this was on the 7th April and I was again assured that within 1-2 weeks the deposits would be repaid and I would have everything back that was owed to me. It will come as no surprise to anyone that it is now 4 weeks later and I still haven’t received anything back. Last week I emailed the customer care rep whom my case was under the personal management of and they replied saying that they are undergoing ‘major structural improvement which is a complex financial process and they will continue to monitor my case and update as soon as next steps become available’.
Needless to say this is not acceptable and not what I agreed when I entered into the contract so at best this is a breach of contract and at worst this now theft.
It’s not acceptable for a company to enter into a contract, break the terms of the contract, then provide frequent reassurance of a resolution within angreed timescales and then repeatedly break those commitments as well. Do not use this company.

this is a scam
Warning to everyone .. Do not put money on cryptonomy. You only get promises and no money back to you. My contract ended 24.12.24 and until now only thing is get is promises that are not kept and fancy answers that i need to wait. All of this is a BIG SCAM.

Honest first review on Trustpilot
Honest first review on Trustpilot—I am a regular guy living in the DC/Maryland/Virginia area with my beautiful wife of almost 9 years and our wonderful, full of life 16 month old. It’s very expensive in this area and we’ve worked very hard to create a stable life together. I’ve been DCAing into crypto since 2022 to reap the benefits of this crypto bull run, but I fear all my sacrifice might go down the drain with this company. Hopefully I’m wrong, but from the looks of it I am not, and I send well wishes to everyone else who is going through this tough situation. Stay strong for yourself and those who love you. I first heard of Cryptonomy from a handful of YouTube crypto enthusiasts I watch, not all, but it was enough to spark my intrigue. Promoting this shaky company was not a very responsible thing to do but I do not blame them because ultimately I am responsible for the decisions I make. I initially started a flexible contract that worked out pretty well. I made some interest on a certain cryptocurrency over the course of a few months and was able to withdraw it from the platform last year but it wasn’t worth a ton at the time, just a couple thousand bucks. I naively initiated a number of fixed contracts with Cryptonomy, some of which have not been paid out since the conclusion of the agreed upon period this year & others that likely will be “extended” indefinitely and not be paid out. And now I’m getting the same generic messages from their customer service everyone else is. I don’t even want to say how many contracts, the kind of cryptos, or how much is involved because I don’t want to identify myself for potential retribution. From what I’m reading, people are already reaching out to the SEC, the crypto task force, and US attorneys. I’m not the biggest fan of everything this new administration does but one thing is for sure—they take crypto seriously. The president’s money is in crypto. This company risks getting in big trouble if they do not honor their agreements, which I am not sure they will. Cryptonomy, I will 100% change my rating if & when you return my initial investments and accrued interest. I will write a review just as detailed as this letting everyone know that despite the ups and downs, you guys held up your end of the bargain. But until then, I cannot in good faith recommend you to anyone else and will provide regular updates to the general public about how things are going. The ball is in your court. Please do the right thing. Now is the most difficult time in earth’s history to get away with this sort of scheme because everything is monitored or traceable on some level.
