I really wanted the Judd glasses in red but it had sold out online. I went into the Edinburgh shop and the customer assistant couldn’t have been more helpful. She found the frames in stock in the Borough store, called the store to confirm this and ordered for me. I’ve been shopping with Cubitts since 2019 and every interaction has been professional and friendly. I love the quality of the frames (still wearing that first frame since 2019 daily!) and know that the follow up care is going to be excellent with my new frames too!

The staff in Hampstead are exceptionally helpful, good-humoured, patient and have great expertise. I cannot commend them highly enough. Tessie is especially wonderful; but all of the staff are great!

fantastic member of staff in Cambridge - was a Sunday - he was the only staff on duty, he was so very helpful with myself and customers before me (whom also purchased). Bought wonderful sunglasses with lots of advice on lens / frame colours.

I ordered some glasses online but didn’t feel comfortable with them when they arrived, so I drove all the way from Bristol to the Cubitts Borough store to make sure I found the right pair. Hannah was absolutely brilliant, she listened carefully to everything I had to say and gave thoughtful advice on the next steps. Her welcoming, caring approach made me feel totally looked after, and she went above and beyond to ensure I only walked away once I ordered the glasses I was genuinely happy with. I was stuck in London with a pair of glasses that had become warped during the day. Everything I looked at was on a diagonal as the frame was warped. I have very poor eyesight so needed to have them urgently fixed. Another very posh optometrist close to Cubbitts absolutely blankly refused to help. I walked into Cubbitts Covent Garden, not very optimistic but was met by a most helpful and friendly receptionist and optometrist. Both offered to help and fixed the problem immediately and did not even charge me anything. For their service, the time, their great customer service and their willingness to help - I would have happily paid...but they refused to accept. I was absolutely delighted. What a great service. I will definitely go there when I need my next eye test. Thank you Cubbitts Covent Garden!

Recently went to Cubitts in Edinburgh (new town)on Friday 22 August. From the moment I walked into the shop the service was excellent. After a thorough eye examination and help with choosing my new glasses the experience was faultless. I have now received my new glasses and I am extremely pleased with them. Great team. Dave

The frame designs are fresh and affordable—totally unique combination! And the staff were helpful, friendly, and delightfully laid back.

I've been wearing glasses since childhood. Ive seen dozens of opticians and my experience with Cubitts has been the best I have ever had.

I admit to feeling intimidated by the upmarket nature of the Cubitts stores, but every single member of staff I interacted with were kind, friendly and helpful to a fault. Nothing was too much trouble and the eye examination was more thorough and far more informative than Ive had anywhere outside of Moorfields Eye Hospital.

The way Cubitts presents their glasses is second-to-none. Opening the packaging is an experience all of its own and it really feels like care has been taken with the manufacturing and quality control. The provided glasses case is discreet and incredibly well made, and the only thing that could make it better would be a place to keep the clip-on sunglasses so I dont need to take both cases out if I dont have to. The glasses cloth and supplied lens solution are beautiful. The cloth is thick, soft and incredibly tactile - Im thinking about asking for another just to use it as a fidget toy! I love the artwork print too.

The value for money provided by Cubitts is off the charts. These glasses are no more expensive than the last pair I got from Vision Express, including the eye test. It was worth the trip to London, and I dont think Ill be using any other optician from now on.

Extremely happy that I found Cubitts. Just awaiting my 4th pair of glasses. Faultless service, fantastic communication, very happy customer.

The shops are beautifully presented, offering stylish, high-quality spectacles. The vendors are highly knowledgeable, and the after-sales service is exceptional.

Spitalfields Store Saturday afternoon 26/07/2025 - a master class in customer service. Purchased new sunglasses and I mentioned I had lost a pair of different Cubitts sunglasses and was there something similar in the current line. The team checked through my order history, found the original order from 5 plus years ago, located 10 pairs Penton granite still in stock and arranged delivery 2 days later !! Amazing service, thank you!!

As always at the Belgravia store staff are attentive and super helpful and fixed my glasses as they had become loose. Off the back of this made an additional purchase. All of the team need to be commended as not only do you have an awesome product you have brilliant service to match

Just a really, really wonderful experience. After looking online I went to two branches and was so impressed with how helpful and kind the staff were. They gave great advice and didn't mind that I asked so many questions. The range of glasses is incredible!

The optometrist that conducted my eye test in Cambridge is amazing. Cubitts must shower her in annual bonuses and gifts - do whatever they can to keep her! The sales team were also great - good communication, very clear on the process and excellent banter. Top class!

For someone who struggles to fine glasses that suits them and have always been told I need to wear teenager glasses due to the size of my face. Walking into cubitts old town store in Edinburgh was a breath of fresh air, I was made to feel at ease when picking my frames and washing taken through the process from start to finish. I cant remember the gentleman and ladys name who helped me, but everyone in that store is amazing at what they do. A definite asset to the company.

This is my second pair from Cubitts and the experience has been very disappointing.

The customer service team has been polite and quick to arrange exchanges, but the quality control just isn’t there. My replacement frame arrived with scratches again, even after I had stressed how important it was that the new pair be checked before sending.

When you pay a premium price you expect the basics to be right, and receiving scratched frames twice really takes away from what the brand is meant to stand for. I shouldn’t have to compromise on something like this.

It’s a shame, because I do like the design, but this experience has put me off buying from Cubitts again.

I have been buying my glasses from Cubitts for the last 3 years. But recently went to Cubitts Islington for a eye test.
Just thinking I just needed new glasses.
Thank goodness I did the amazing optometrist Krupali had found a macular hole in the back of my eye, Cubitts have
the most amazing scans and equipment which showed up the hole.
I cannot thank them enough from the young lady on the reception, to Jon the manager so kind and reassuring.
By the time we had got home a referral had been sent to my GP who will hopefully refer me to Moorfields eye hospital

I travelled a long way to get my new glasses from Cubitts, I could not find anywhere locally that did stylish and sturdy eye wear that could be repaired if broken. Varifocals are expensive and it is wasteful and a financial disaster when a damaged arm means they have to go in the bin. The staff at Cubitts Monmouth street were amazing, and very friendly, helped me chose some very cool frames. The optician gave a very individual service and was very thorough. I collected my new Varifocals by last week and could not be more pleased, I have already had B lots of compliments too.
One small point - could you open a branch in Bristol or Bath? We need you in the South West!

I am a bumbling creative type and therefore lose everything, all the time. Many times.

I have ordered the same pair of glasses from Cubitts on approx 10 occasions. I have yet to have a bad experience. Actually, I have yet to have an experience that could be classed as anything but fantastic.

I recently had a pair go missing from my mailbox, and had an email exchange with Kyrene in which her response was so lovely, thoughtful and hilarious that it is, in itself, a work of art.

I actually read the email out to my friends last night and there was a general consensus that it was THE perfect tone. Great company, great glasses, great people.
