Extremely disappointing

Moss St Candles - Safety Issue / Unusable - on delivery ceramic broken / cracked / chipped
Deals Direct - Extremely disappointing.

I ordered candles from Deals Direct. They were packed incorrectly in the box. During transport the candles moved around in the boxes. They banged into each other and the ceramic broke. All candles came out of their packing in the boxes and the ceramic containers / cracked / chipped broke. Even worse, they were left in the heat and some of the candles melted.
I tried to get a full credit and sent photos of the broken / cracked / chipped ceramic. I spent over $180 and bought 8 candles and was refunded $29 for 1 candle. I purchased 2 x Camelia & White Lotus, 2 x Blush Peonies, 2 x Blood Orange and 2 x sorry I can't remember but will update this item on Monday. I have left the candles under my desk at work - no point bringing them home because they can't be used safely. This is just stupid. I sent 3 photos of the damaged ceramic and candles. The candles can't be used because the ceramic container is broken / chipped, cracked all the way to the bottom.
I was only able to attach 3 photos even though I had a lot more. No=one contacted me or reviewed the order or read my return request. If they did, they would have reviewed the invoice and contacted me to understand my concerns.
The candles I am left with are a health and safety hazard and cannot be used. Someone is likely to cut themselves on the ceramic or worse burn themselves with melted wax. Please review and help me get my refund. Thankyou

Your public services team are amazing

Your public services team were more than helpful with looking for my return goods parcel that had gone missing in transit. I supplied them with a tracking no. and there it was found. I have already received my refund. Thank you team, very happy customer

Problem promptly resolved

I had received my first order of a clock which was damaged in freight, the second clock was also damaged, I am very pleased to say that the matter was resolved in a quick and efficient manner and I received a refund because Deals Direct had no more stock, thank you Deals Direct and your customer service is to be commended!

How long do u have to wait to get a response when i have done all the work.

Returns acknowledged received on 7/11, by your Contact Us site.
If they have been lost in yr factory thay need to be found and refunded.
Its funny i have seen my returned items for sale on yr site.

FAULTY ITEM WAS REFUNDED.

IT HAS BEEN ACKNOWLEDGED BY DEALS ON 7/11 THAT SUNGLASSES AND OTHER ITEMS HAVE BEEN RECEIVED, BUT THOUGHT THEY WERE OTHER VENDORS.
WHAT ARE U TALKING ABOUT, OBVIOUSLY THEY WERE RECEIVED AND NOW LOST.

I have just been in contact with consumer protection, about all the run around and bulldust i have had to endure, by the hopeless staff and customer contact site.
All return items were sent in carton together, with faulty item that you have since refunded.
You contact us section has confirmed receipt of returns, by stating that sunglasses and other items were received in carton which they thought were other vendors, but were my returns.
I will be proceeding with legal action now, as contact has and is going nowhere.
U have lost one big customer now.

The worst company to deal with when it comes to trying to organise a refund for items returned and received by their suppler. Proof has been supplied but they will not confirm and will not process the refund. I receive the same response each time I contact them. Shireen Arokiadass is the worst customer service agent I have ever had to deal with, how does she still have a job? No point going through their FB page, they just do not reply. Consumer Affairs is being contacted as we speak.

Deals Direct…first rate customer service!

I purchased an item from Deals Direct and when I though there was a warranty issue, I contacted them and they replied immediately with help and have constant updates. They were very helpful and would buy from here again just for the customer service! I would like to personally thank Shireen Arokiadass for her amazing job in helping me!!!

I bought an expensive bag from Deals…

I bought an expensive bag from Deals direct Invoice 40607040 - it came from overseas damaged via Fed Ex. The packaging was torn and the bag was damaged because of it. Whilst I understand these things can happen - the customer service has been shocking. They stopped replying from 11/8/2021 - I can’t ring anyone cause there is no contact number - $140 is a lot money for me. I wanted to makes formal complaint days ago but no response. Be wary of these sites with no contact Phone number! If your reading this DEALSDIRET contact me please as you had caused me a lot of anxiety over this matter which I don’t need in lockdown with covid.
YOU SAID ON THE 11/8/2021- if I wait 1 business day I would eta reply from supplier. Nothing happened no one replied. I just want to return item for refund not replacement
Response to yr reply - you said on the site 1 business day you will resolve matter but you said the same on the 11/8/2021 - but nothing - it’s just a generic response - your company uses it all the time - reply to this.
30/8/2021 4 days after a deal from deals direct and 30 days after initial contact - they will give a discount or return product even though I have asked 15 times for a return - BUT NO FURTHER CONTACT FOR 4 DAYS EVEN AFTER PLEDING FOR CONTACT BY ME -IF DEALS DIRECT DONT REPLY WITHIN 24 HRS I WILL RING OMBUDSMAN AND FAIR TRADE COMMISSION

Nothing more than Fraud

Returned items in April and once again I find myself needing to contact this company about the refund of my purchase going back to March 2001, it is now August and I am seriously wondering how long your process takes. I have had confirmation from Australia Post on the 24/05/2021 that the items I sent back to you had arrived at deals direct, the Tracking number was S2D5008634.
I would not recommend anyone purchasing from this company, they say all the right things but ignore all correspondence with you if you have a problem. Contact us Links on their page fail to get response when needing a refund.
The company now has the items and my money. The customer service is very poor and the website and the progress/process showing on my returns page doesn't even show that my return has been received. I have waited long enough and my patience is wearing thin! Oh and the company doesn't even have a phone number for customers to directly contact them. Very poor for a so called Australian company. Don't use them

Although customer service staff have…

Although customer service staff have tried to be helpful, the whole refund process has literally taken months. This is unacceptable, especially as I am always chasing it up myself, and and there seems to be no responsibility taken by deals direct to get my refund processed, even after the supplier has had the item returned for over two weeks. I doubt I will be using deals direct again.
