Stay away from DMS.

Stay away from DMS.
DMS agreed to do the Water tank service in our building after several email confirmation. multiple owners paid their money over online transfer to their agreed bank account. Nearly some 30 owners taken their service. But they cheated every owner by not doing any service. Like others we have taken more time to chase them to get a proper service, but unable to spend any more time on chasing them. so, Would like to share our expertise with you all, I have all the email evidences if trust pilot or any one interested to see.
There are few other owners from the same apartment already given their same feedback earlier on trust pilot.
I am sure this feedback will help to you to decide to goahead with DMS or not.

Business collapsed, do not use

Initially, everything seemed to go well with this company. They installed a new combi boiler and removed all of the detritus from the prior back boiler installation. However, there were some issues with pressure and other things following the installation, but they provided quite good after care recommendations. Eventually, we had a leaking radiator replaced by another trader, but this actually led on to other major issues. While inspecting the pipe work, the second trader raised major concerns with the safety and quality of the installation. Despite the new radiator, the pressure in the system would drop every fortnight.

On contacting DMS, a "new" heating manager sounded appropriately concerned and promised to rectify things. However, we never heard back. Initially we were able to get through to discuss things, but then the number was constantly engaged and eventually disconnected. In the end, we paid the second trader to attend and re-install the boiler. Since then it's worked perfectly and hasn't had a pressure drop at all. It also runs almost silently since the repair.

It now seems that the company has essentially collapsed since just after Christmas, and a lot of other people seem to have had deposits taken but no work. To anyone else who had work done previously, I would recommend getting the installations checked as clearly they were cutting corners well before hand as well!

I have taken my time putting up my…

I have taken my time putting up my review because I hoped that I would get some kind of feedback from DMS about the problems I have had since I used them for a number of works at three properties. Installation of a central heating system from scratch in one was done eventually but with some poor installation of pipework and clumsy or careless workmanship resulting in burns on carpets, scorchmarks and dripped solder and considerable mess being left behind, including bits of pipe and stuff left under carpets. Some relatively minor teething problems which could have been easily sorted were not, basically because they couldn't be bothered answering emails or phone calls. Then I had a complete system overhaul on two properties, one of which was OK, though the engineer seemed to think it was ok to use the owners towels to mop and clean up his mess, but the for the other it was a disaster, with damage caused and a system which has not functioned properly since. I wrote formal letters and emails and have not once had the courtesy of a response. I also had room in roof insulation done, which I did not have to pay for thankfully, but it was badly done and some of the panels have since detached themselves from the walls. So I have learned from my mistakes and urge anyone considering using this outfit for any type of installation or works of any kind, to think again and look elsewhere.

This is quite possibly the worst…

This is quite possibly the worst company I have ever had to deal with - they installed a faulty heating system, which leaked for over a year. Their engineers dont turn up when scheduled to, they don't answer their phones or respond to emails. It is extremely frustrating and a massive waste of time.

We are now having to deal with NICEIC because we could not get all of our issues resolved with DMS after over a year of trying. I have just been informed by NICEIC today that DMS have been suspended and removed from their list of registered contractors - so if you use them now you will have no recompense for the shoddy work they carry out.

AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS.

Avoid at all costs

Avoid - At all Costs. Heating and Sales Dept Manager came out to quote promising the moon and stars of how it was all going to be done SO right, he currently asks for Invoices to be paid to SSRS Ltd. The job was sub contracted (without any notice to me), as DMS are liquidated, so Im not sure how the "Boiler heating Installer of the year 2018 Logo" can work? . A fat guy in an unmarked van arrived, and the reason I mention he was fat is he couldn't fit through the roof hatch so all gas work connections were done by his apprentice - who was the worker!!), not the 2 teams as promised to be done in a day, (no call as to where the 2 teams got to either). The roof flue and flashing were added by the round guy who didn't have a roof ladder by rolling across the slates, breaking lots!. Health and Safety would have fainted. He had no slate knife so ripped the slates off with a hammer. The condesent pump added had no power cable connected, so would never pump, hence the puddle of water day 1. The discharge pipe was installed illegally out onto the roof which will stain the slates, the flue was never bracketed . The flush of the complete system included in the quote was a laughing point, No Inhibitor was never added, ( It was tested independently ...zero) .. tick boxes on the original quote sheet were few, Then it got even more Ugly, as soon as this guy decided he had finished, the phone rang, I had left for half term as soon as the "plumber" had finished day 2, call after call came demanding full payment even though as above little had been completed properly or tested. There are far too many genuine honest trades men out there to be dealing with this rubbish, When the same manager arrived for payment, I was told a knife and a hammer were coming out of the van, or the house would burn down... unless full payment was received... has The Sopranos just aired in Glasgow?. AVOID!

Worst Service Ever

Don't go near this company! From beginning to end the installation of the heating system was characterised by incompetence and shoddy workmanship. At one point we had two armoured cables stung over the roof tiles and along the front of the house and had we not complained DMS would have left them there. The air unit on the wall was squint and several snagging jobs we had to do as it was impossible to get DMS to return to complete the job properly. Our mistake was making the final payment before the work was fully completed. Although still under warranty the system was not working properly and after having great difficulty in getting DMS to answer the phone we eventually managed to arrange for someone to come to rectify the problems. Although a date was arranged he did not turn up. We have now given up and managed to find a heating engineer who came at the arranged time and knew what he was doing.
Under no circumstances would we recommend DMS to anyone.

LEARN FROM MY MISTAKE!

In October last year I had this company install a boiler for me and it has been nothing but a nightmare since.
The installation took 4 days, not the 2 days I was told because they couldn't get an electrician to my house. Several of my carpets were lifted and poorly poor back. The carpet in the room where the boiler was installed was poorly protected and I now have burn in the middle of the carpet.
I paid 50% deposit for the job. Less than 24 hours after the job had been completed I had one of their workers call me and verbally berate me over the phone demanding the other 50% immediately despite the job not being completed to my satisfaction or the CO monitor being installed.
Then, due to a botched installation where they cracked pipes in my loft my house flooded damaging 3 ceiling (including holes) and wreaking more of my carpets.
Complained to the company (who I had to ask time and time again for a receipt of works) who after several emails and calls, accepted liability and agreed to pay me £300 in damages. They sent me a cheque which then bounced!
Have made several attempts to sort this out but they will not get back to me. Have tried calling them today and now their number seems disconnected....
Such a shady company, please do not take your business here - I wish I hadn't!

Con Artists - AVOID at all costs (£2000 in my case)

Installed 2 very expensive heaters, one of which is making a racket. They refuse to come out to fix it,claiming I need to pay a call out charge. I've been in disputes with DMS for months.

Checked with citizens advice who said that this is not true. That they are responsible for ensure correct installation and quality of good supplied.

Come on DMS, you know fine well what you should be doing. Stop your lies and avoidance. You've been called cowboys in other reviews, I think you are just con artists effectively stealing people's money...Like the £2000 you got from me.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY

I had arranged to get my home insulated by DMS in November and duly paid my deposit of £400. They said I had to pay this before they could give me a date for installing.
To cut a long story short, after constant phone calls to the company to try and get a date arranged ASAP their excuses ranged from the van had been in an accident and I was to await a call back. Never received a callback. I called back many times over the following weeks to be told the van had now broken down, then they said they were waiting for a part for the van !, Every time it was a different story,
I got so frustrated at being lied to I asked for my deposit back to be told it would take 10 working days. Again I faithfully waited and of course no money has come my way. Every time I phoned I was told their accountants (who work from home ! ) had been emailed to refund me on the 7th December !
I Phoned my bank to ask advice to be told I didn’t have anything in writing to say so they couldn’t help me and to double check the terms and conditions as it may say it’s non refundable !
Guess what ? I have just lost a lot of money

Avoid DMS! Liars and breaching consumer rights

DMS provided and installed 2 Dimplex Quantum Heaters for the cost of £2200. Both heaters have significant scrapes and chips and were like this upon installation. In addition to this, the larger heater makes a lot of noise when charging during off-peak hours and during its day time operation.

I have asked multiple times, both email and phone call, for them to send an electrician to fix the problem, but these requests have gone without reply. That is, until my very last conversation, where the expect me to pay a call out charge! Clear breach of consumer rights act 2015. This matter has been ongoing since September.

Are they out of business now? Phone just goes to engaged tone.

Cowboys is an understatement

Took half the money sent guys out who had to use my extension my lamps, cut a whole in the ceiling and just let the fibreglass drop, all over my child's room up and down the stairs, not 1 cut straight big gaps in side of ladders then proceeded to snap a conduit pipe and all cables inside, 3 visits later was told they were only Willing to patch the job up wanted paid but refused to fix my electrics, told me they would send an electrician but never did and now I have a £240 bill to fix my electrics, also took us 3 days to clean up after them, COWBOYS is an understatement, also threatened my wife that they would send there workers in to take the ladders out and leave us with a hole in the ceiling, trading standards are now dealing with it.

"...they made a hole in my ceiling and never came back!"

Absolute cowboys this company is..

Three appointments later and they could not get the job done, that's me taking off work for three days and each time rearranging with them to come back out.

On the third appointment they made a hole in the ceiling and then said they could not fit the ladder due to wires in the ceiling. This was the third time they had been at the flat, each time telling me I need to move things in order for them to get the job done, each time me paying someone else to get done what they have asked for....They made a hole in my ceiling and then left, never to answered my calls or emails again, blocked - Cowboys!

Having read these reviews before making my deposit payment I made sure I had in writing that they would return my deposit if they did not do the job, sure enough I needed that for my bank to get my money back, which they did.

I do not understand how businesses like this survive and DMS you are lucky my bank got the money back, I was getting ready to setup tent in your shop having already informed the press of your absolutely not ok way of doing business.
