Doordash is refusing to refund me after placing an order with KFC. KFC sent out old, cold, hard, chewy chicken. The order was placed around 9:00 p.m. last night so it was close to closing time but the chicken was inedible and thrown in the garbage by me. That was the eight piece meal that comes with two large sides. The biscuits the four piece biscuits that come with the 8 pc meal was left out . Also ordered a four piece tender meal and received a box of cold, hard, stale chicken nuggets that should have had french fries with it and a biscuit but had neone of those. Also ordered a sweet tea but was given a lemonade. It tasted like the chicken had been sitting under a warmer for about 5 hours, chicken so dried out it probably would have bounced off the floor had I thrown it. When I contacted doordash regarding this matter I was told by the manager I do not qualify for a refund due to my past order compensations/refunds. EXCUSE ME? TH? I am now extremely confused. I asked how many of my past orders have a refund for compensation on them. No one could give me an answer. I asked which was the last order that received compensation. Still no one could give me an answer. So I asked is there a certain number of complaints you can file to get a refund before you stop giving refunds. Still no one can give me an answer. I used $64 placing this order trying to give my kids a little fun on the 4th of July weekend. Had I known KFC was going to be so horrible with their food and leaving so many items out and the fact that door Dash is now refusing to refund me, I could have spent that money on something else. less aggravating! I got on my app to look at my past orders. There are 50 orders that were placed from February of 2025 up until yesterday July 3rd 2026. Going through those 50 orders I did not see a single one that had received compensation or a refund that was listed on an a single order of mine. Now my question is how far back or how many years do you go back to look at compensation and refunds? That is 17 months of orders that I don't see anything wrong with them. And if they did get compensation or a refund then I had a reason to be calling in to receive that. I only complain when I am missing food or when food is inedible or incorrect. I do not call for the fun of it because I cannot stand talking to the doordash people because I can never understand them. Not being any kind of way, I don't even know their ethnicity. I just know I can rarely understand due to their thick accent and too quick speaking. But I will tell you one thing, doordash will never have my business again, you can guarantee that!!!! All I want is a full refund for the horrible food that wasn't edible & ended up in the trash, all the missing food, and no stinking tea and my time for having to go throughthis stress. !! HOW can a company DENY me of MY money used on items I never received and items that were complete garbage? And again, any past refund or compensation I did or did not receive was reviewed by DoorDash AND approved by DoorDash. Why would I be penalized by DoorDash because DoorDash agreed & issued refunds/compensations prior to this complaint?? 🤔
I just want a full refund, that's the only thing going fix me. I'm off to find more places to complain about DoorDash refusing my refund over inedible food, mixed up items, and missing items is crazy
Going to go see how many orders I have in the app & if any were refunded

Doordash has stolen over $60 from me over 6 month span

So unprofessional these idiots will give you the run around. Somehow some way they have been using our card since February 3rd of this year! I had to call them and fight with the idiots on the line then call the bank and make them do their jobs. No one wants to do their jobs and are lazy. I recommend getting off ur ass and getting your own food rather than hoping these idiots get it right. To hell with them they lost a loyal customer!

I've used DoorDash for almost a year

I've used DoorDash for almost a year. Only about 3 times did I receive a damaged or wrong item. When you file a complaint, they ask for a picture of the item. It's quick and easy. Just make sure you have good lighting so they can see the issue clearly. They ask if you want a refund or credit. I've done both. Once, they credited me with $10 for an item that cost about $3.
I recommend ordering at least $60 worth of groceries or takeout orders at restaurants to avoid the delivery fee. The delivery fee goes down as your total goes up. There's always a service fee, but if you don't drive or have someone to drive you, are elderly, disabled, etc., it's a small price to pay for safety. I can't go out in extreme heat or cold, so this works for me. At about $120/year, it's pricey, but necessary for me. You can mark your favorite drivers, but most drivers in the Syracuse area are good.

They don't even deserve 1 star!! WATCH OUT IF YOUR DASH PASS IS EXPIRED AND YOU'RE NOT READY TO RENEW!! I had a 15.00 off from a certain restaurant. My order came to 7.00 plus tip. My dash pass expired at the beginning of June. If I had wanted to renew it,I would have! They took my money without my permission for the dash pass when I placed my 7.00 order!!! They refuse to give it back! That's downright stealing!! They're greedy sobs and hang up when the customer is upset! Wouldn't you be irrate if they took money without your permission??!! Scum bags!! Its bad enough they dont want to refund you for missing food that you paid for!! I left doordash! Ill pay extra from Uber eats!!

Ordered thru the store

Ordered thru the store, delivered by DoorDash driver Jose. Delivered to the wrong address. Called DoorDash they said it was the stores fault. Store had the right address DoorDash said they delivered to the address on my account. I don’t have an account. Store reimbursed the charged amount less the DoorDash tip. So the driver received a tip for not doing his job. I will never order a delivery from a place that uses DoorDash.

I would happily tip the driver if…

I would happily tip the driver if doordash didn't rip off their customers. They don't have to add hidden fees because they simply jack up the cost of the food compared to how much it would cost when you go to the restaurant. So they get an extra 25 to 30% and that should be enough to cover their costs but then they have to charge you delivery fees and you're supposed to tip their drivers and it's absolutely ridiculous. If you order from Domino's delivery they charge you the same price that they would in the store with no delivery fees and of course you're expected to tip.

Can I rate less than one star?
I ordered through the McDonalds app and neither company would help me. DoorDash straight up refused a refund when I didn’t get my order and wouldn’t make the order correct or issue app credits. I had surgery, couldn’t move and had been fasting and I just wanted my food. Absolutely awful customer service. Will never order again.

Burned food they will not refund

Placed order for 4 items, 1 dinner, a small pizza, a large pizza and garlic bread. The larger pizza was $18.95 and arrived burned. I requested a refund, at first they offered $5 I said the pizza was $18.95 so they upped the offer to $7 still not even close to an un-edible $18.95 pizza. I called the restaurant and they said it would have to be handled through Doordash. Door dash now refuses any refund. I will never use their service again if they are not going to be responsible for errors.

They remove reviews after a certain period. Instead of just adding to the existing ones. Very sneaky and misleading. All my reviews are gone. And this branch is particularly bad at any food.
