ABYSMAL SERVICE, SHOCKINGLY UNPROFESSIONAL & HIGHLY INAPPROPRIATE
The wrong items were delivered. I told the delivery guy they were wrong when I met him outside. I told him to take them back and give me a refund. He got on the phone and gave me the “one minute sign” with the index finger in the air. While talking on the phone he started to walk away. Then he threw the store receipt onto my lawn, got into his car and back out of my driveway as I yelled for him to stop.
He left the wrong items; he was told it was wrong and then just left anyway.
The Door Dash customer service was a total waste of time, almost three hours on the phone with five people, including two supervisors, and my request for a return and a refund were summarily denied without any explanation. It is amazing they are still in business. I have deleted my account. Abysmal service, shockingly unprofessional, and highly inappropriate.

Doordash won't let me report issues

I use door dash often, but there are some aspects that are bordering on scam. The latest to lead me to this review is I was reporting a missing item to my order, but it *would not* let me select an item or hit "continue" to finalize the report. It would let me do anything else but this feature was entirely unresponsive no matter what I tried. I feel they are doing whatever they can to not allow for refunds or adjustments.

Doordash has horrible customer service. I was inconvenienced twice in a row by them and they tried to intimate that I had done something wrong. I took pics and uploaded them, followed the process and still did not get reimbursed for what I ordered. I have been fighting them about this for a day and a half now. The Orders: I had ordered a veggie pizza from Domino's and it came back as supreme w/meat. They reimbursed me for that after I went through the process. Then I ordered a veggie pizza with my credit from Mellow Mushroom. They sent me the wrong pizza. It also had meat on it. I went through the process, submitted the photos and they denied me and did not issue reimbursement. And have not still, after I have spoken with them 3x's and each employee stated they don't know why I am denied but they can't fix it.

It's such a hit or miss if you get good service! Most of the time, your hot food is cold by the time it's delivered. You get messages, they're waiting on your food, but it's cold when it arrives, so you know it's either an auto message or they are lying, hoping to get a better tip. Don't even bother to order fries, they're cold and hard when you go to eat them. So much of the time my drink order is missing completely. Are they drinking your drinks or not bothering to look at the ticket to see if you got everything? Usually, the drinks are not in the bag or shouldn't be, because they sling them around, and they can spill over all your food. It's just grab and run, so they don't deserve the bigger tips IMO. Then, before you can't eat, you have to file a complaint first because it requires you to take a photograph of your food order with their apps their before you can eat it, which is like an insult to injury. Guess it's a customer trust issue. Ready to check out a different service.

STAY AWAY NOTHING BUT A COMPANY THAT STEALS YOUR MONEY

I've been screwed multiple times and im tired of my money being stolen exorcism when I did not receive my order. I placed an order for sonic on 5/26 for two rt 44 drinks and a added McDonald's on it. I got McDonald's but I did not get my two drinks from sonic and they stated " reviewed and did not see i was deserving of a refund". How am I not able to get my money b with i did not get order that is theft. DOORDASH IS NOTHING BUT A THIEF!!!!!!!!!!!! I HAVE LISTED ON ALL SOCIAL PLATFORMSAND REPORTED TO MY BANK. I AM TIRED OF YOU GUYS STEALING MY MONEY FOLKS NEED TO SUE DOORDASH

Missing 25% of the order; refund denied in 3 minutes

I ordered four meals. I was missing parts of two meals and missing the main for another two meals. I contacted door dash with pictures and within 3 minutes I was told that my concern had been 'thoroughly reviewed' and was not eligible for a refund or further action. No explanation. Just denied. It was my first and last time using Door Dash.

As a restaurant owner I’m often use DoorDash service, I wish I wouldn’t. But if you look the way society is built right now, I’ve would say it’s your fault. You become lazy to pick your phone and order from restaurants directly, to go outside and pick up your food. Little tips for you they doubled prices on everything you ordered, order that cost you $20 if you pick it up you’ll pay over $50 plus delivery charges. Stop using greedy DoorDash service!

DoorDash: A Scam Wrapped in an App, Masquerading as a Delivery Service

DoorDash has become one of the most blatantly exploitative, misleading, and infuriating services I’ve ever dealt with. Everything about the platform feels engineered to squeeze money out of customers while delivering the absolute bare minimum in return.

The pricing is a joke. You think you’re paying one amount, and by the time you reach checkout, DoorDash has quietly stacked on fees, markups, service charges, mystery surcharges, and whatever else they can slip past you. The final total looks nothing like what you expected — and that’s not an accident. It’s the business model.

The app itself is a mess. Items disappear, menus glitch, orders get stuck, and half the time you can’t even tell what you’re being charged for. Delivery times jump around like a slot machine. One minute it’s 20 minutes, the next it’s 75, then suddenly your order is “delivered” when it’s nowhere to be found.

Customer support is a black hole. You get canned responses, scripted apologies, and “credits” that don’t come close to fixing the problem. If your food is missing, cold, late, or never arrives at all, DoorDash treats it like a minor inconvenience instead of the service failure it is.

And the worst part? DoorDash behaves like a company that knows it can get away with this. The manipulation, the hidden costs, the constant upselling, the chaotic interface — it all feels intentional. A system built to confuse you, frustrate you, and push you into paying more than you realize.

If you value your time, your money, or your sanity, avoid this platform. DoorDash has turned into a full‑scale disaster.

If I could give negative stars, I would! Worthless app and drivers! Doordash clearly only hires lazy people or thieves then they cancel the orders and leave people hi and dry with no explanation and now my money is tied up between them and my bank because they sure don't replace the money as fast as they take it from you! Incorrect order/delivery time

I have two accounts a day and half apart.
1st: ordered two pints of ice cream and a bag of chips from Wawa, the Wawa I ordered from is 10 minutes from where I am and the dasher take 25-30 minutes I would prefer my ice cream not totally melted

2nd: tonight I ordered 2 frozen ice bars, water and chips. Again from Wawa, again dasher takers 31 minutes, ice cream was melty, a small case of water (I wanted one) and no chips. This is ridiculous and not my first or 5th time having issues with this app and company. No longer using it and advising friends and family to not use it anymore

I was charged for 2 orders

I was charged for 2 orders, because their website locked up on an error near the end of my order, and i had to log back in and finished the order. I then saw on my bank statement I got charged twice. I logged a complaint with a chat support person and they tried to get me a refund, put the company refused because the 2vorders were made within 5 minutes. Does that make any sense? This place is a rip off. Go to Grub Hub.

I had a terrible experience with…

I had a terrible experience with DoorDash. I spent $96 on an order, and when something went wrong, I contacted support expecting help. Instead, they only gave me a partial refund and kept $54 of my money.

I even requested for the order to be re-delivered, but they refused and still kept the rest of my payment. This feels completely unfair and honestly like a scam.

Customer service was unhelpful, unprofessional, and dismissive. They hide behind policies instead of actually resolving the issue.

Do yourself a favor and don’t use this platform. Save your money and go pick up your food yourself.

Very disappointing experience. I will not be using DoorDash again.

Horrible customer service

I’ve order four times through doordash and 2 of the 4 times, we got someone else’s order (one time we got a food that had the date/time of the day before on it and the other time we got two chocolate milks and a box of cookies instead of dinner). The third time, they forgot to leave the chips and guac. And every time we call, we either can’t get a hold of customer service or when we do, iithe driver has already left and they offer no solution - no refund either.

Absolutely the worse delivery system i have used yet. They claim free delivery, yet a place less than 2 miles from my house has a 5 dollar excessive milage fee. What a complete rip off. Don't ever buy their door dash scam. Absolutely horrible.

Delivery Service

When ordering food be prepared for the delivery to be more than two hours late ! I ordered at 5:15 and my order is still not ready and it says it will be arriving between 7:50-8:00. This is ridiculous and insane. I will not be ordering from door dash ever again ! I don’t understand how they are still in business .
