Doordash is Trash
Even when you get to a supervisor, they just force you into having credits, and it will never be enough to cover the money you’ve spent. This is a trash business. It is not consumer friendly.

I have been a customer of theirs since 2024. Although I have had many many many many many orders I have also had many many complaints I had a door dasher take off with $700 worth of items I had someone steal my steaks and just recently I had them tell me that they were only going to give me half of my order back my refund back when I sent them pictures and they're going to say based off their investigation what their investigation because they seen pictures like all of the food was thrown in one I had ordered from Long John silver's they threw all of my food into one box I had over 50 hush puppies in which I did not order 50 I just ordered it as a side order and now I can't even get a hold of Long John silver's and they're going to tell me I am deleting my app and I'm going to Uber eats I hate DoorDash
What a joke
What a joke. I stopped using it in a previous town because the drivers were a mess but had pretty good luck in my new home until today. Same nonsense. They'll straight up admit they didn't bother to check your order and then she tells me to Google the customer service number. So great, I'm missing half of my stuff and I get to deal with some poor overseas rep who I'm sure loves getting yelled at all day for being hard to understand. They give me a $13 refund which is the cost of product and tax but I still paid over $17 for a single monster and two single sized candies because they don't refund the tip or their fees. What a rip. I won't be wasting my money again and quite frankly don't understand how they're still in business.
Poor Custimer Service
Dashers tend to cancel my orders, and when they do it gives me a notification that my order is cancelled. This time it never asked me if I wanted a refund or Credits, it automatically issued refund. I contacted support to get it into credits because i always have issues getting refunds back and NEVER get my refunds back which is why i always do credits. Was told i’m not allowed to do credits and that i have to wait. Never have i heard about this let alone im ALWAYS asked if i want credits that way i know i get my money back.

Customer service is extremely slow and rude. The promotion award I received for ordering multiple times in a timeframe was a scam. It applied to an order the restaurant cancelled and wouldn’t allow me to reuse it. Customer support told me it was still applied and wouldn’t reimburse it. It’s only $10 but out of principle it felt wrong. The woman on the line couldn’t give me anything and couldn’t have been ruder to me about it. It doesn’t feel good to give money to a company that has such poor customer service. I’ll be cancelling dash pass and switching to another provider. They said they couldn’t transfer me to a supervisor they said I had to hang up and wait for someone to call me.

Twice in one morning, the Dasher left my food outside without knocking on the door... my dog barks EVERY TIME there is a knock at the door. We are a hearing impaired family. I wanted a refund since it happened twice. They refused asking for evidence. How do you provide evidence of the negative? You cannot prove that something didn't happen. It is unacceptable! Hearing loss is a disability. There response showed a complex disregard for servicing a customer with a disability. I order from them frequently throughout the week. I will try UberEats from this day forward. Total disrespectful response to a hearing impaired family.

So I ordered Wendy’s for the family and my delivery wasn’t even mine so I get charge 56.49 for food I didn’t even get. So the guy had a stop before he showed up to the house and delivered my food to the people before me that only spent 29.00. So I called customer service and they told me they would give me a refund. They haven’t. And the pending on my account went through so I called customer service a second time and asked them where is my email for the refund. They told me they don’t send the emails until the funds get returned. So now it been like 10 days as they told me to wait and no refund I would give this place a zero star if I could there customer service is a joke. Worst company to even order food from. Then I had to go pick up food for the family and lose out of my money that I paid for and the food my kids didn’t even eat. Thanks for nothing DoorDash. Only one star rating because half a star wasn't available. We ordered food from red Robin brought by our dash. A big plate of fries that we asked to be crispy. Apparently red Robin has become we are cooks because these potatoes were wet , limp and barely walked past the fryer. It was so bad we had to cook the fries after the 90 minuts doordash took to get it to us. When we complained doordash refused to do anything. Just doordash proving they cornered the market on losing customers and alienating employees. I'm saving my money from now on.

Poor Delivery Service; For my first experience using doordash I have to say it will be my last. Wendy's is maybe 6 miles down the road and 30 minutes to get to my house is not considered great service. Driver said he lost the app for the address but he was high as a kite when he pulled up in the neighbors driveway not even my house. I order a Pizza on April 9th my driver got to the store 45 minutes after my pizza was ready and stopped and did other delivery's before delivering my pizza. it took over 2hrs to receive my order and my pizza was cold when I got it. Driver said Door dash would not release my address until he delivered the other orders which was probably a lie, he probably just want as many orders (money) he could cram all at once and my $50 pizza was crap!!!! never using door dash again
Honest opinion
I don’t like how Dashers can make more than one stop before getting to you when I want my food delivered. I want it to still be semi hot. The app should make sure that the restaurant has all of the food in the bag. They should make them take a picture of each item making sure everything is in the bag, but the credits do make up for that so that’s nice.

You never get the right order. Most of the the delivery people can't speak English. So you can't talk to them about your order or what's missing or if they get lost. I think im done with doordash.

I placed an order today. It was an alcohol order so I was expecting the person to wait at the door so that I can show my ID. However, the individual didn’t come to my door. Stayed at the end of my driveway and tried calling me. After five minutes because I didn’t know he was there my order was canceled. I followed up with customer service and they advised me that I cannot get a refund even though the DoorDash has returned my alcohol to the store. I explained what happened that the individual didn’t even come to my door to confirm delivery and yet they said I’m sorry that was their answer and asked me if that addressed my concerns. I’ve used DoorDash a number of times, however I will not be using them anymore. I got charged a delivery that I didn’t even receive. And they stated that they can’t return my money. However, when you order alcohol, it says actually the DoorDash will come to your door and you need to be able to show ID. My delivery person’s name was Gagan.

Not sure if there is a decrease in doordash drivers recently because i have had two orders waiting for a driver for almost an hour twice. Normally the assigning of a driver is pretty quick, however, recently, it has been taking very long.
First time using DD
First time using DD. What a horrendous experience. My driver didn't deliver my food but marked the order as complete. I tried calling the driv er 4 times but no answer. I filed a complete but DD automatically declined it becase the order was marked as complete. WTF!!! I called support and I get the party line they can't do anything because it was already reviews. She even tried calling the driver but no answer. Um, how do you do a review when no one can contact the driver??? I was out the food and the money. I then had to wait for a supervisor who just gave me the same line.
