My request for advice regarding the efficacy of an Akzo product was dealt with objectively and fairly by a very responsive member of the customer service team.
My initial enquiry related to a failing paint application, and after due consideration and technical advice, the decision was to use an alternative product - both are from Akzo.

I am writing to share some feedback regarding my recent experience with your service.
While looking for interior design inspiration online, I found a Dulux color that I loved. However, it was only listed by its English marketing name rather than the international color code.
I contacted your customer service, and a representative named Saima was incredibly helpful. She quickly tracked down the corresponding international color code for me. Her service was excellent, and I received the answer very promptly.
As customers often browse and compare multiple colors during the renovation process, having to ask for codes each time can be repetitive. It would be highly beneficial and much more convenient if Dulux could provide an online tool or database where users can directly search and cross-reference marketing names with their international color codes.

Bought two tubs at b&Q yesterday started today mixed paint as instructed coverage is absolutely terrible I thought dulux thats a good paint I was wrong its not going to need alot of coats to cover light grey on linning paper I would be quicker stripping paper and redoing it

After having a problem with a tin of paint I contacted customer services. they couldn't have been more helpful. and after sending of some photos and a receipt they offered me a voucher for another tin.

This is the third time (in a great many years) that I have had to contact Dulux about a product issue and the response has always been excellent. The advisors always seem to take proper notice of what I have explained about problems. This time in particular, the reply was very personalised and the solution given was very comprehensive. The only trouble is that Dulux customer service is so good that it makes me blanch at how much better many other companies I have had to deal with could have been.

Had an issue with some outdoor paint, but having contacted Dulux, we got an immediate response and a quick resolution. All the staff that were involved via emails etc., were very obliging and incredibly helpful. So impressed with the service we received.

Usually us B&Q Valspar paint but since Dulux had a 3 for 2 offer on we decided to get Dulux. Wish I'd paid extra for the Valspar now the coverage is terrible and the tin is full of dried skin which I've had to constantly pick out of the tin and off the wall. Valspar far superior in terms of coverage and it goes on much nicer too! Won't be buying Dulux again no matter what offer they have on.
