I bought Dulux eggshell one coat in brilliant white for my new skirting. Unfortunately even after priming the wood, it needs at least 2 coats of eggshell, I may even add another coat, at the moment it looks like I've only used undercoat. I won't be buying this again, Dulux paint used to be the best paint and worth the higher price but I don't recommend this one.

I was very surprised by my customer experience as I have never received one like this! Joanne has been incredibly helpful and understanding about how difficult it is to choose colours especially under stress. She organised test pots for me and took the time to acknowledge my concerns about playing with the light, suggesting colours and choosing something different. I cannot thank her enough and Dulux as they have all worked incredibly hard to help me. To top it off I was gifted a 2.5L of white wood satin....A five star service

I purchased a tin of gloss and after one use the lid won’t not go back on. As soon as one side closed the other side then went up. It had only been used once and have been shown photos to prove this. I contacted dulux and was told in writing it appears the lid is distorted and won’t go back on and therefore faulty. You said you would provide me with a refund and send details in order for me to provide details to send payment back to me through PayPal. The next day I received an email from someone at dulux to confirm they would be dealing with my case. I commented as far as I was aware it was dealt with. I was then asked for the bar code, I had disposed of the paint because it didn’t see a need to keep it. Had i realised dulux are in incompetent and would ask for a bar code the next day I could have taken pictures! I was then asked, did I notice tin was faulty when I purchased it? Yes of course I noticed and still proceed to the checkout. What a stupid condensing question. Last when did the lid come off?? I didn’t come off it didn’t go back on!! I said as far as I was aware the refund was being processed. Then the link you sent didn’t work for the payment. Someone called me and explained other customers were having the same issue! I was then asked if she could send me an email and I could reply back to this with a screenshot on my phone so you can try and assist other people. I said yes ok, I was at work and needs to get off the phone, and the response “ I love you, thank you” Hardly professional. I would image that is GDPR breach???
So still waiting for a link or a cheque two weeks on, not impressed at all. Why on earth you could have not just send a replacement tin is beyond me. If I pay for decent paint, I expect it, I also expect a level of customer service that Dulux do not provide. In each message you have stated this is in no way Dulux taking blame. It’s a good will gesture!!!!! It absolutely is not! That’s the biggest insult ever. You are replacing a product that is fault!! That’s not a good will gesture, don’t pretend that you are giving me something for free! If this is how you get treated as good will, I would hate to say bad will!! Feel free to sort this mess out!!! Oddly enough I have used other dulux paint in the last four weeks and been asked on email several times to leave a review! Amazing you can contact me for that, not to sort an issue

I just filled all this in - then it asked me to give a code sent to my email address so I went and looked at my email and the window I had originally typed in was gone!!!!
What I said was trying to get past the bot was a nightmare. All I wanted was a colour chart which I couldn’t find on-line. Eventually I spoke to a human being who was extremely helpful.

We recently had an issue with a Dulux paint product and contacted their customer service team for support. From the very beginning, the experience was excellent. The team were proactive, efficient, polite, helpful, and genuinely eager to resolve the matter quickly and fairly.
Communication throughout was clear and professional, and they kept on top of everything from start to finish. Most importantly, they came to a more than satisfactory solution, which we greatly appreciated.
We have used the Dulux range for many years and this experience has only strengthened our confidence in the brand. A great example of customer service done properly. Highly recommended.

I bought Dulux paint from B and Q. It was called Vanilla Sumdae. Never seen anything like it. The colour was no way near the colour on the tin. It will not cover, I have put on 4 coats and it’s still showing the old paint underneath it. The colour looks fluorescent as a pose to what the front of the tin shows. Absolutely disgusting never again will I use Dulux.

I spoke to Neve on the online chat today in regards to a recent purchase I had made. I had used Dulux once eggshell on my stairs which had unfortunately turned yellow! I did not realise that the oil based paint would do this. Neve kindly offered me advice and sent out a voucher as a gesture of goodwill to help me towards rectifying the problem. I am very grateful for Neves help in this matter.
