They flag negative reviews
A few years ago I posted an entirely factual review about the ignored requests for returns and eGlobal charging 'admin fee' for returns. EGlobal flagged it as breaching Truspilot's guidelines. Everything I said was true, nothing I said was abusive. I was never invited to amend my comments to fit into whatever guideline I was supposed to have breached. Pleased to see EGlobal are still racking up the single star reviews but I don't understand why Trustpilot would facilitate such an obviously dodgy enterprise.
Scam Artist Avoid like the plague
Scam artist that claims to be from your country to get the appearance of PayPal Buyer Protection. Then sends out defective product and when you complain then asks for it to be returned to Hong Kong. PaPal are complicit in this as in the UK by law it is the sellers responsibility for returns but they give this scammer something to hide behind
Don't buy anything with eGlobal
Don't buy anything with eGlobal. They never said that they are in HongKong, and the items we ordered would be sent from HK. It's a lot of risk for the customers, like me, who couldn't receive the ordered item, but have to pay them.
I ordered a cell phone on line on Nov. 2020. After order, I couldn't receive the tracking number for many days. So I emailed them to ask. They told me that the item that I ordered was run out of the stock and the new product would arrive on the following Monday . I agreed to wait. They gave me the tracking number finally, but I never received my order. I used that tracking number to check with FedEx where they delivered my package, but was told that it's not available for FedEx to provide the shipping location. I emailed eGlobal. they asked me to fill out a form called "Explanation of the recipient for the following Consignment", I declared that the item was not delivered. After submitting the required documents, eGlobal didn't update me for a very long time until now. Today my bank told me that eGlobal refused to give me the credit amount that I paid them.
This merchant is too bad. They are cheating the customers' money. So don't buy anything with eGlobal.
It arrived and as descibed
I was looking for a global version of the Xiaomi Mi10T Pro. The cheapest price was with EGlobal. I expected it would take a month as it's coming from Hong Kong. It arrived in less. When I first ordered I made a mistake in the model number and ordered the wrong phone. I registered on their website and to report this. Within less than 24hours they had refunded my money and advised me to re order. I payed with Pay Pal for security. I would have given 5 stars but I didn't receive a tracking number and it arrived out of the blue unexpectedly and without needing a signature. I choose the free delivery option.
Terrible customer service
I ordered a phone on 17 September... it is now 28 October and there is no sign of it. They keep telling me to check tracking and contact Royal Mail but it has not arrived in the UK. My son-in-law had more success with his arriving after 3 weeks. I have requested a refund but have received no response :(
Basically Crooks
I’ve ordered 2 items from eGlobal
The first a Sony lens arrived but with fungus in the lens no response from eGlobal to resolve the issue
In June I ordered Apple wireless headphones they haven’t arrived despite numerous complaints
Don’t buy from them they are crooks
Use Techeuropa.co.uk
Use Techeuropa.co.uk
They are new but Amazing. I've had a couple orders from them aswell and they never miss the promised date
Don't buy anything…
After the fact there is nothing uk about eglobal uk I have received my goods not like a lot of other reviewers but if there is or something goes wrong with goods that's when the problems start first off all they say they can't find your order paperwork you must off got it off another company .then after sending the receipt many times and send a copy of there returns policy they say that returns policy only started a month after my purchase and my actual policy had run out do yourself a favour pay a bit more and go to different retailer just a rip off and am not sure it wasn't counterfeit to begin with
Crap Service!
The service I received from EGLOBAL was disgusting.
I ordered a phone from there expecting it to be shipped of within 72 hours, as the website stated. After 3 days I contacted them to find out where my order was. For 2 weeks straight, I was told my item would be shipped of within the next few days, which they completely lied about. I waited those extra days to see nothing happen.
In between that, many of my messages to them were IGNORED. After 17 days then finally sent of my order, after I wrote to them to say I want to cancel my order if it doesn’t arrive within the next 2 days. I have finally received my phone after 28 days.
The communication was dreadful. I wouldn’t recommend buying from these sh!t heads. Typical Chinese scam artists, making a load of sh!tty promises that they can’t even keep. Seems like they are more interested in the money than their customers.
If I had used PAYPAL to buy the phone in the first place, I would have cancelled my order a long time a go. I will never use these people again. They should be avoided at all costs…even if you are desperate, it isn’t worth the hassle, stress and money.
P*SS POOR SERVICE!
Big saving, quality product, 16 days to deliver
I ordered a camera using PayPal. It was £150 cheaper than standard UK mail order sites. When the camera arrived (by Parcel Force) it was as described, well packaged, with a manual in English, so I am pleased with my purchase.
After placing my order I read with some alarm the comments of many reviewers, so I suspected the '6 to 8 days' delivery might be optimistic, and so it proved. The order was placed on 3rd August; on the 10th August I received an email stating they were "..currently packing my order...take up to 48 hours for respective courier to update the status of your shipment...may take up to 72 hours for tracking to be sent to you". On 13th August - another email stating "..Your order has been dispatched from our warehouse" along with a TRAKPAK tracking number which confirmed the package was despatched from GERAS Ltd on 11th August (a London registered business); on 17th August the package was in Basildon, at 05:25 on 18th August it was at a Royal Mail depot in London, by 23:39 it was in Glasgow, and by 10:50 on 19th August it was delivered.
To summarise, 16 days to deliver, saved £150, and no suggestion at all the camera is sub-standard. I'm happy. The company is based in Hong Kong so the 3rd to 11th August delay is to be expected. Not at all sure why the package took a one-week holiday in London (11th - 18th). The take home message - use PayPal or a credit card (not debit) for piece of mind and security, and be patient; I will consider using them again. The alternative is to pay more and get your item a week or two quicker.
I had no issues...
Apologies to anyone who has had a crap service- mine was exemplary throughout!
I am not in the business of paying £1000+ for a phone, good technology or not I think it's silly money. So when I found my ideal phone at the absolute limit of what I'd pay (not finding this price anywhere else!) it was a no-brainer.
I was apprehensive about making a purchase because of the negativity I saw on here, but with payment protection through my preferred method of purchase I thought what's there to lose?
Phone came a week later than expected, but that's down to Covid. Speaking to customer services by email got replies within 24 hours (note they are Hong Kong based, so for UK you should work on the fact that they're 8 hours ahead of us)
Very happy with purchase, no hidden taxes/charges to pay.
i orderd samsung buds plus on 20th of…
i orderd samsung buds plus on 20th of june and they sent me an email on 24th that my order is out for shipping with a tracking number, i tracked it until it says your parcel will be out for delivery shortly, the next day though it says "We apppologise for the delay, we are following up your order to get it delivered to you as soon as possible". until now i still receive the same respond
Criminal. Zero customer support.
I bought a camera back in April for €2,400, its now almost July. The ordered didn't go through until 8Days later, which I thought was strange as I assumed the payment didn't go through. I messaged and asked for a refund as I didn't need the camera anymore and never got a reply. After a month I received a confirmation email that it was ready to ship. Still no replies after 16 attempts. Emailed on a previous item I bought and I got one reply, "refuse the delivery from the courier". More emails and zero replies. It's beyond a joke. Going on over two months and they don't give a damn.
Terrible Service bordering on criminal
Bought a phone from these "people" on the 5th of may 2020. The web site stated that delivery would take 4 to 6 days. (of course i didn't believe them) I usually wait a month for any goods from China. Today is the 25th of May and I haven't had any news from them. Not if the shipment was sent or if it's in the process ....nothing...total silence. I have written to every email address they have very politely asking for info....NADA ! I am beginning to agree with the rest of you. These people are either Incompetent entrepreneurs (lots of them in China) or down right crooks. It is a shame they are destroying the export potential of the Chinese industry.....Beware do not deal with them...I have started a Paypal process to retrieve my money...
UPDATE :::::: as soon as Paypal got in touch with eglobal (europe) the phone magically appeared on my door step within two days. I believe that it is not so much that EGLOBAL are crooked but that their European distributors are totally Incompetent ....The email I received telling me the phone would be at my house the next day was signed by someone with a German name....got the phone...like the phone....enough said....
I wish I’d read Trustpilot first.
This company is what I can only describe as a disgrace. If I could give them no stars I would.
They call themselves “EglobalUK” when they’re actually based in Hong Kong. Nothing at all wrong with Hong Kong companies, but it can certainly make life more difficult when things go wrong. When they have your money and simply ignore your emails, it’s hard to get it back. They had £130.99 of my money for some Sony WF1000-XM3 earphones (awesome product by the way!) because they were simply the cheapest on line. Big mistake - I’ll always check out a company on Trustpilot in future before parting with my hard earned money. I ordered and paid for my item and promptly received a confirmation email promising that they would send delivery and tracking information once it was dispatched. I heard nothing more from them. When I chased them up they sent an automated reply with no useful information. I emailed asking for more information, or my item, or money back - not surprisingly I heard absolutely no more from them. I sent more requests for information, with no reply. In any other circumstances this would be seen as theft or deception. They had my money and there appeared to be nothing I could do about it.
Fortunately I’d paid through PayPal. When I looked at my account with them, I realised that they have an arbitration process for just such a situation. After a simple process, I’ve just received an email this morning from PayPal telling me that they’ve found in my favour and they will be refunding all my money.
Thank you PayPal. You can be sure you’ve earned my loyalty.
As for EglobalUK - looking at the stream of Trustpilot reviews where the same thing has happened to countless others - they’re a disgrace and they shouldn’t be allowed to trade.
Lessons learnt:
Don’t assume that the cheapest price is necessarily a good buy.
Always check on Trustpilot before parting with your money.
Always buy through a company like PayPal or your credit card, so you have back up if things go wrong.
NEVER EVER buy from EglobalUK again.
Warn as many people as possible.
I had to same problem with Eglobal
I had to same problem with Eglobal. Very poor service. Awaiting time takes ages. Still waiting for item which was ordered on 25th of March. Today is 18th of May. Never again. 100% would NOT recommend
oppo realme x2 pro
oppo realme x2 pro
Good morning folks, so how many have received refunds for a Oppo X2 pro green today, because it had become eglobal best seller in last 5 days ?
Problem is, it never existed. A green version of this phone has never been made by Realme so whatever bull email you get to explain why you not getting the phone (too good to be true price of 199) will be a lie but here's a pathetic small discount for future purchases is your only compensation.
Also do not bother emailing the company to suggest taking the blue version instead as they will not offer this.
I had got my order in 5 hours after it was live on the website so early enough to get limited stock so don't buy that excuse either
They are a real company who do send proper product , just unable or unwilling to admit mistakes or offer real alternatives.
Maybe someone will know what to do next, I don't !
No Problems, would use again.
Just bought an Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 Pro from this site.
Ordered late Friday evening on 28th March, arrived today 10th April. Item was well packed and in excellent brand new condition.
As others have said their tracking is a bit dodgy until it actually arrives at the UK courier, DPD in my case, but over all I have no complaints. Price was a lot cheaper than any other seller I could find, even eBay.
Would consider using them again.
Shipping extremely slow, 2nd poor experience
as mentioned before on this site, the seller just uses fake shipping updates, my package has been packed 2 weeks ago but has not left the seller yet, what kind of delivery service are they using! total waste of time
Buy from here if you want to wait wait…
Buy from here if you want to wait wait wait
Shipping updates are totally FAKE
Only when I opened a paypal dispute did they provide a real tracking number that shows they have handed nothing to the courier just advised them of the package
I'll get my money back through paypal so I'm not too fussed but they have had my money for 20 days and it's still not been shipped.
Crooks !!
Example of the identical fake tracking you will receive
