Not receiving my deposit

After Living with Enter Coliving from January until June this year, I was supposed to receive my deposit within two months of moving out, it is now already close to four months and I still have not received anything yet. Furthermore, I am being ignored by the company, when I try to contact them in any way. Be aware of this company!!! They way they treat me is terrible and illegal.

Deposit Refund

My deposit, which is 650 euro, was supposed to be refunded at the beginning of September. However, they have been delaying and stalling the process, giving excuses instead of concrete action, and failing to keep their promises. They have not fulfilled their legal obligations regarding the refund, and this is both unacceptable and unlawful.

You don't get your deposit back!!!

I rented a room in Barcelona through Enter Coliving and had a very negative experience with the return of my deposit.

When I moved out, we signed a termination agreement, which clearly stated that my deposit of €980 would be refunded within 60 days. I left the room in good condition, with no damages or outstanding costs. Despite this, the deadline of 31 August 2025 passed, and I still have not received my deposit.

I have contacted Enter Coliving multiple times, including their staff members, CEO, and even sent a final reminder. Unfortunately, communication has been zero and it left me no choice but to write this review.

This experience has caused me unnecessary stress and wasted time. Based on my situation, I cannot recommend Enter Coliving. If you are considering renting with them, please be aware that getting your deposit back can be a long, frustrating, and uncertain process.

Deposit will not be refunded

Our daughter was considering staying in a Coliving apartment in Barcelona from April to June. The deposit (€1060!) was supposed to be refunded on September 2nd. So far, nothing has been received. We're getting meaningless emails about delays from the finance department. My phone number is blocked. We haven't heard anything about a payment. And all this while the deposit is contractually held for 60 days after the return. It's all very disappointing, so don't do business with this company!!! 😡😡

Deposit not refunded and overall poor experience with Enter Coliving

I strongly advise anyone considering renting with this company to be very cautious.

According to my rental contract, the deposit should be returned within 30 days after signing the “finiquito.” I signed mine on July 3rd, and today it has been more than 70 days – yet I still haven’t received my deposit back. Despite multiple attempts to contact them, there has been no proper response.

Unfortunately, the deposit issue was not the only problem during my stay:
• Serious safety issue ignored: The façade of the building was falling onto the street. Firefighters had to intervene and even entered my room, but the company did not respond for over three weeks. During this time, they closed my shutters as a “solution,” leaving me without daylight for weeks.
• Pest problems: The apartment had recurring cockroach and rat infestations. While they sent pest control once for cockroaches, they never properly solved the issue, and I had to handle most of it myself.
• Lack of communication & accountability: Reaching the company in urgent situations was nearly impossible. Emails and calls often went unanswered.

Overall, this has been one of the worst rental experiences I have ever had. The combination of not returning the deposit (despite clear contract terms), ignoring serious safety hazards, and failing to maintain livable conditions shows a complete lack of professionalism and respect for tenants.

I hope this review helps future tenants make an informed decision before signing with this company.

I would advise everyone to be cautious…

I would advise everyone to be cautious when looking for a home through this platform. I left their apartment on April 30, 2025, and I am still waiting to receive my security deposit. Despite paying for support services in addition to rent and the deposit, it is extremely difficult to get in touch with the staff and receive any response. In our case, we were without hot water for days and without an oven for weeks.

All the positive reviews leave me skeptical. Every time you contact someone from their team for assistance, they later ask you to leave a positive review mentioning them. This seems like an internal evaluation mechanism, but these reviews are written “hot,” immediately after interaction. I would be curious to hear from other users about their experiences during the closing phase.

pure scammers and a really dramatic company. I paid 850 deposit and only got 425 euros back. You are simply scammed as a tenant and if you say something about it you get useless excuses in response. Absolutely do not rent a room from this company. Also got mouses on my room and the co tenants are rude and digusting.

As you can see from their reaction, they do not respond to you in any way, even now that they are simply doing criminal things and unlawfully withholding and embezzling money. They draw up illegal contracts that do not comply with the law and are scamming you with this. they never respond to you in any way and are simply fooling you

I had a horrible experience with this company... Please be very careful and don't rent here!

First of all, I was explicitly assured I would be living with two female roommates before I signed the contract. Upon arrival, I discovered there were 2 filthy guys living in the apartment. Another tenant in the same building experienced the same issue, she is now living with a 44 year old man....When I raised this with management, they refused to take responsibility and instead asked for proof—proof of what? Their own sales team’s misleading information?

Later I discovered that my roommates could unlock my private room with their digital key on the app! I did not know these people and felt completely unsafe in my own living space. AND MY KEY didn't work leaving me locked out of my room, forcing me to sleep on the couch... . Their response? Blame my phone instead of their faulty system.

Once they have your money, they STOP caring. I repeatedly contacted customer service, and they just forwarded my concerns to "management," which refused to take action.

Even after all these issues, they refused to refund my management fee, which supposedly covers "service costs." What service? I faced constant problems and had to beg for basic assistance.

This company does not care about tenants—once they have your payment, they will ignore your concerns and make zero effort to fix their mistakes. If you’re considering renting with them DON’T. There are far better, more professional options in Barcelona!!

Regarding the issue with the digital key and access to your room, we are very sorry for the feeling of insecurity this created for you and the inconvenience of being locked out of your room. We thoroughly investigated the operation of our access system and, although it is possible that in some cases the initial configuration may require adjustments, our protocol is always to assist tenants immediately to solve any technical problem, which was solved. We are sorry if the initial response made you feel that your device was being blamed; that was not our goal, but that was the conclusion you gave us when you saw that it worked for your peers and not for you.

We understand your frustration with the perceived lack of action by management. We want to assure you that your communications were taken seriously and channeled to the appropriate team. However, we are sorry if the resolution did not meet your expectations or if the communication was not clear enough during the process.

Regarding the handling fee, we understand your discomfort in not feeling that you received the service you expected. This fee is intended to cover various administrative and management costs necessary for the operation of our services. However, we take your comment very seriously and will use it to review and improve clarity on what this fee includes and how we can ensure that all of our tenants perceive its value.

We sincerely regret that your experience in Barcelona was not as expected with our company.
