This is cautionary tale, but with help and hope for all of you that haven't had your deposit returned.
My daughter had no luck with recovering her deposit, despite numerous emails and phone calls, so I decided to help her with this dispute and the deposit was finally returned last week, even though she signed her termination agreement in June. So in all, it took 134 days to recover her deposit! But it was returned eventually after exploring all the options and legal processes. There are lots of positives acting in your favour so don't despair.
Firstly, it is illegal under Spanish law for a rental agency or landlord to keep your deposit for longer than 30 days after signing the termination contract, so a 60 day contract which my daughter signed, would not stand up to scrutiny in a civil court case. 30 days is considered enough time to return your deposit and this includes any dispute they have raised with you. The deposit is kept by INCASOL which is the local government body in Barcelona for reasons of protection for the landlord and tenant. But this will not stop you from getting back your deposit back. It is Enterco's reponsibility to get the deposit released and they should do this after you have signed your temination contract.
Secondly, and probably most importantly. You do not need to spend money to begin legal processes. You can use Chargeback. If you paid by credit card you can recover the deposit fully through them; if by debit card, you have 120 days and if you paid by bank transfer or by cash it would be difficult, but raise a dispute with your bank anyway. If you are successful using any one of these processes, then it becomes your bank's obligation to settle the matter with the bank Enterco use.
Thirdly, contact consumer rights organisations and raise a complaint. If located in the EU use the ECC or one located in your country. If your location is in the UK use the UKICC - I did so by telephone and they were really helpful.
Finally, you could email a Barcelona based lawyer and begin the action to recover your deposit this way. I emailed two using their websites. Advocate Abroad were very helpful and so were Klev & Vera. They replied to emails and gave some advice and were also very willing to help. But it's pricey 120 - 200 Euros plus tax per process, however it could be worth doing as you might only need them to give you advice or send a Burofax. If there are a few of you with the same issue then get together and pool your money, but it shouldn't get to this stage. I also believe you can claim interest back on your deposit as well if it goes to court.
Email Enterco, (the head of operation's email address is on their website, but hard to find) remain civil and professional and tell them your intentions and also state a deadline for repayment and stick to it. My daughter is an international student - always short of finances and needed the money back. It's unfair of Enterco to take advantage of individuals in a similar situation - so Enterco you can and should do better.
I'm not really one for leaving reviews, but I felt I had to in this case, as recently, there have been a number of 1 star reviews covering the same issue (tip - always read 1 - 3 star reviews and treat any above this with scepticism). And having got my daughter's deposit back, I believe you are more than likely to get yours back as well.
Remember to try emailing and calling first - even though you might be put on mute, ignored or just cut off - yes this did happen! and keep all your records of contact with Enterco for any legal action you might want to take.
Best of luck and keep trying!

THIS COMPANY WILL NOT RETURN YOUR DEPOSIT! STAY AWAY!!
Moved out 4 months ago, along with 4 housemates.
None of us have received our deposit back, despite breach of contract and renting laws. No communication, no explanation. They will hold your deposit until you fight them for it - and I'm still waiting.
Look elsewhere, this company will take advantage of you - every housemate had the same problem it's not an accident!

Very lenient and easy process with strings attached. They usually rent out old or poorly renovated apartments where each person has a room and access to usually a very small common area. Giving 1 star as they scam their tenants saying that they’ll return your security deposit 60 days after leaving… it’s been well over that mark and I still haven’t received it after they confirmed that they’d return the totality. In addition, they overprice and increase rent once your contract lapses (roughly 150% compared to other short term room rentals). Lastly, prepare to be hated by the neighbours and community. I’d avoid at all cost despite the ease of moving in and I’ve rented twice with them.
UPDATE: We are the 21st of November and I still haven’t received my security deposit. Enter Coliving had signed and sent me a document stating 60-day return and we are ok day 73.

My experience with Enter Coliving has been very disappointing. I always paid my rent on time and left my room clean when I moved out. The contract states that it may take up to 60 days to receive your deposit back. However, I have now been waiting for more than four months, and I still haven’t received anything.
I have called and emailed multiple times. Each time, they replied with the same generic, prepared message saying that due to the summer period, it will take longer. I no longer believe this excuse. At this point, I feel ignored and extremely disappointed with their service.

Analex is great and always super helpful, responding promptly at all times. The only thing I'm not happy about is that they didn't ask me if I want to extend my contract or not, and give the room to another person. I had 3 more months, and it was already booked by someone else for later. If I knew, I would extend my contract. I think that when someone is interested in a room, they should ask the person already in the room if they want to extend their contract or not, and then give the room to another person.

I am from room 1079
I have filed a police report and I am taking legal action against Enterco Living. I am Dutch, maybe brown skin but still Dutch! And still don’t steal and rob anyone to make extra money on the side!
On October 30, Enterco Living attempted to scam me by claiming that my room was no longer available for rent. Together with three other colleagues, they blocked my access and communication. That same day, I went directly to their office to clarify the situation. The room was never rented by another person! They wanted to make extra money besides a fake advertisement!
When I walked back to Gran Via 470, I was followed and attacked by three Moroccan men who had been waiting in the same street. I was robbed, and all my belongings were stolen — including my passport, bag, and money.
This happened right after Enterco Living had offered me a room to rent in one of their company properties. It is very concerning that several people have also been robbed or deceived by this same company, including tenants who never received their deposits back. I have heard multiple similar complaints from others living in the same building.
After the incident, I immediately went to the police and will also go to court this week to take legal action as soon as possible. I am not from Spain — I am from the Netherlands — and I find it alarming that three employees from Enterco Living blocked me at the same time, while people downstairs at the bar appear to monitor when tenants enter and leave the building.
I am relieved that I went to the police, because I will not leave my room until I have my passport, money, and belongings returned. It is unacceptable that tenants are forced to wait for their deposits and then become victims of robbery.
I am also deeply disappointed that no one from Enterco Living has contacted me or my lawyer, even after I personally went to their office. Instead, they only send automated, impersonal emails.
Therefore, I have taken matters into my own hands and filed a case in court. I am certain that the three men who attacked me are connected to employees of Enterco Living, because there was another theft in the same building earlier that same day, right before I was robbed.
This is a very serious and unpleasant situation. It reflects a lack of organization, accountability, and safety for all tenants. Many of us came to Barcelona with the hope of building a new future, not to be extorted or threatened by people behaving like a mafia network.
I strongly warn others not to rent rooms from Enterco Living, and I will remain here until the court clarifies what happened and I receive my money and personal documents back.

I paid a security deposit that was never returned, despite leaving the apartment in perfect condition. Communication stopped completely after I moved out, and my messages have been ignored for months.
This behavior is unacceptable and dishonest. I’m filing a police report for withholding my money. Do not trust this company.

*They erased my review in google*
I’m leaving a negative review because their behavior was completely unprofessional. The contract clearly stated that the deposit would be returned within 60 days, but it took more than 4 months (from early July, when the contract ended, until early November) and still nothing. Their excuse? “Delays due to the summer holidays.” Hearing that in November sounds ridiculous. I’m from Greece, we also have long summer holidays and yes, some delays can happen in August, but definitely not in November.
After the 2-month deadline passed, I kept calling the office with no response. Eventually, I realized they had blocked my number because when I called from a different phone, they picked up right away. As soon as they understood who I was, they hung up on me and blocked that number as well. For three months, their emails kept saying there were “issues with the finance and payments department,” which either means they were lying or the company is completely disorganized.
After I filed an official complaint with the European Union Consumer Protection Service, suddenly within two days I got my deposit back. Looks like all their “problems” magically disappeared. Totally unacceptable behavior. I’ve also read that many others have had the same experience, so be careful, as it seems this is something they do quite often.

Good afternoon!
I would like to share my experience of living in Enter Coliving. In general, can say that everything went well for me: I received the room that had rented in advance. However, there were some drawbacks:
The manager who was doing an internship could not answer all my questions at the initial stage of the contract, so I had to wait a long time for a response from his colleagues or create tickets on their portal to receive an email response. This was at a time when I needed to submit my visa application documents quickly.
Then the intern manager finished her internship and it was unclear to whom I could now address. Moreover, before the arrival, they promised to send instructions for checking into the room, which did not happen. I had to request this instruction myself. Since I came from another country, I did not have an internet connection, and had to download an app for logging in by connecting to Wi-Fi somewhere at the airport.
If we talk about the apartment itself and the room, everything was not completely new and renovated, as stated in the ad. Plus, there was no mirror in the room, as shown in the ad.
Also, wasn't very lucky with my neighbors... they were all young, polite guys. But it was hell when it came to cleaning. I constantly had to make some comments in terms of cleaning (dishes could accumulate in the sink for 1-2 weeks, garbage was not taken out according to schedule, the rules of accommodation were violated: it was written in the contract that it was forbidden to live in pairs, but one of the neighbors lived with a guy for a while and had an intimate relationship, her moans and sighs could be heard in my room, which was why I could sometimes wake up; then I had to constantly remove my hair from the bathroom drain, as there were always blockages - in general, I'm glad it's over for me, but this point is not a complaint about Enter Coliving, but rather just a comment, it depends on how you'll be lucky.
On the positive side, I was lucky enough to get in touch with the manager, Vanessa, who helped me get into my room by sending me instructions and passwords, and who was very helpful in answering my questions throughout my stay. Thank you very much for your help in resolving issues and providing prompt responses in most situations.
Also from the good: if I needed to repair something (a shelf, a chandelier, and a hanger in a closet), a master would come to help quickly after creating my request, and he would repair everything qualitatively.
In addition, the public space was cleaned every week on Tuesdays. Thank you to the staff who did their work well.
In general, this is not the worst option.
And I also hope that I will get my deposit back and be able to add to my review.

The bed's are horrible. They also promised to return my deposit maximum two months after processing that you left the apartment. (which is already ridiculously long). Three months have passed and I still didn't receive my €800 back. The customer support is horrible, the main co-worker Karen never follows up on the agreements you make with her. I had close to ten other issues with her and the agency which I'm not going to elaborate on. They owe me €800 and I can't reach them by phone and e-mail.
