Erg Plumbing 

An absolute disgrace of a company and they shouldn't be allowed to trade!
Charged £155 + VAT for a visit by a plumber who arrived a day late, even though I was told the price would be reduced to £135 + VAT as they couldn't attend the same day. The plumber came, tightened the cap at the end of a flexi pipe and said that it needs replacing with another cap as the one on the pipe is not adequate and that he had used the last 2 caps on his last job. It tool him 10 second to do the job.
They just called me earlier quoting £235+VAT for the plumber to come back out and fit the part!
NOT A CHANCE.
The part costs £1.85 from Screwfix and the job will take less than a minute (this should have been done during the first visit as they knew exactly what the problem was).

What a scam!!!

So please avoid this company like a plague!

Came a day later than promised, couldn’t fix it and claiming we needed a new shower. In meantime we had a local plumber fix it in 30mins. ERG charged us £160 for nothing. Terrible.

This company are fraudsters. Booked in for a small job. Never turned up but in the meantime charged my credit card for £244.00 for work never carried out. Had to call my Bank very quickly to dispute the payment - but could do without this headache.

Shouldn't be allowed to trade.

This company is outrageously poor. I waited for over 17 hours across 3 days for a plumber to come replace the shower cartridge. He arrived said that the shower was unknown and I had to find the paperwork. He was here under 10 minutes. Within an hour ERG took £160+ off my credit card. His report did to the office did not tally with what he told me. NEVER EVER USE THIS COMPANY. SHUT GHEM DOWN

Had a leak on a speedfit elbow joint, said they would be here at 3pm after numerous text chat on their site, they turned up at 7.30pm. A quick pushing and pulling on the pipe, and they said they had fixed it. Checked half an hour after they left, and it's still leaking, granted not as fast, but it's still leaking !!!!! Pity I fell for their fraudulent Trustpilot score.

Contacted ERG to fit outside tap. Local plumber attended to install but ERG rang to say I had to authorise purchase of items required? What a stupid question! How could my tap be fitted without the components! Told caller what I thought about his company's customer service skills. Local plumbers then fitted the tap to my satisfaction. Unfortunately a short time later I noticed tap joint leaking badly. I rang ERG customer services and spoke to a foreign sounding female. This was on a Friday and she concluded that no plumber available til Monday! Emergency repairs? Definitely won't use this firm again. Rang again on Monday as had heard nothing and helpful lady had plumber at scene within 20 minutes. Problem was fault in manufacturing of brass wall plate. Be warned, their website is inaccurate. Considering reporting to Trading Standards!

They sent a plumber to fix a leak and instead he broke my boiler (which had been serviced mere weeks before). I paid them £300 - they denied liability and lied to my face. I have had no hot water for a week. These guys are thieves. The plumber rocked up with his tools in a JD sports bag, appeared drunk, and was on speakerphone to his girlfriend for the entire visit.

Three no shows; three half days waiting in. Useless, hopeless time wasters. Avoid them like the plague.

Called ERG in the morning for an emergency plumber, was told one would be with me anytime before 2. Sat in and waited all day just to be called a few minutes before 2 to say they wouldn’t be coming until tomorrow. Wasted valuable time with a leak in the house and no use of water. Also masquerade as a local company having local phone numbers but they appear to be national. Had I known this I wouldn’t have used them in the first place.

Called before 10am, was promised someone out within 4 hours. I advised I had to be out of the house between 2:30 and 4:30. No problem, the plumber would be there before 2pm. Had a call at 1:30pm saying the plumber had been delayed. So I told them OK, but for sure after 4:30pm. Yes no problem.

Just had a call saying it will be tomorrow. Told them this was unacceptable, having wasted a day when I could have been arranging another plumber. Cancelled the contract.

Absolute disgrace, replaced a 7KW shower with a 10.5KW shower, existing 6mm cable not safe with more powerful shower. No RCD fitted in supply circuit and existing 40amp mcb under rated for a 10.5KW demand. Plumber didn't have any knowledge of current electrical regs. Had to employ a qualified electrician to remove dangerous 10.5KW shower and fit a 7.5KW shower to 18th edition of electrical safety regs. Complaint fell on deaf ears. Do not use these rip off merchants!

I call this company they would not let me book till I gave them my card details so gave card details and was told that someone would be out before 6:15 pm same day then got call to say it would be the next day between 12 & 5 pm once again no one turned up .and no call back .so I was worried and that’s when I seen all the bad reviews so I contacted my bank to ask them not to give them any payment .then I contacted the company to cancel anyone coming out they are just a joke .

Took card details over the phone when making the appointment, turned up without the required part and told me they couldn't do the job. Was here for 12 minutes and charged £210.

SCAM ALERT - I gave details of issues and address details but when I refused to give card details as a deposit they hung up. Checked what looked like a local number and is was a ghost telephone number redirected to a mobile.

I agreed to ERG VISITING my house to repair a leak . The plumber arrived an hour early (great) on arrival he found the leak and informed me he would require a part. After turning the water off to myself and two other properties he left to aquire the part and never returned leaving three homes without water. He was at my property 5-10 minutes never to return. I still received the bill from my credit card for £162. And had to employ a new plumber to do the job. I have tried unsuccessfully to have the payment repaid without it happening. I believe this company are rubbish or worse.

I called this company to check low pressure on my shower. They told me they will charge me £130 including fixing the problem with materials included. The plumber came and he said I have to change the shower valve and he left doing nothing else. They charged me £162 just for that plumber to give advice, I strongly recommend to stay away from them.

Rang ERG at 1200 re a leaking pipe. They told us a plumber would be with us by 1600. At 1610 no one had arrived so I rang them and was promised a call back by 1630 with an update. No call so I rang them again only to be told that the plumber had booked the work in for tomorrow. Why would I call an emergency plumber if the leak could wait until the next day? Utterly useless, do not use them.

Worst company ever, came 9 hours late, cheeky smug people in customer services DO NOT USE

Avoid at all costs £132 for 4 minutes "work" and taking a photo of a honey bee nest and then get an invoice saying wasp treatment. Customer service said they would contact me before debiting my account that didn't happen. All bad reviews on their site funnily enough say they can't locate the job when it is a complaint. Again I urge people to avoid this company.
