Terrible. Took details of urgent job, and bank card details before job done. Told they would be at property by 4pm (9am call). Called at 3pm to say they couldn’t come. Deplorable service. Do not use.

Absolutely the worst - DO NOT USE
We had a dripping tap, paid £290 to get it replaced and now we have a water leak that’s flooding our bathroom. When you try to get through to the aftercare department there’s no response. COWBOYS.

Good service, needed a plumber for a water leak. Came within the quoted time and fixed the problem. Fairly expensive, but it was a weekend call out.

Awful, disguting, robbing, no morals. Lawrence O'Mahoney and his little scummy team have got the right idea havent they?? The booking team teling you what you want to hear, you putting your faith in them in a time of need, being let down but still charged extortionate amounts. Countless vulnerable, elderly people being ripped off, manipulated, abused. Already been on watchdog for the same thing years ago. This company rebrands every few years and start again. This company manipulates customers to leave reviews or write them themselves, you can tell their all fake!! Ive been in contact with other customers, ex-engineers, ex-employees and big news anchors, ERG Facilities will be getting a big shock soon!!!!!!!!!!!!

I put a screw through my hot water pipe over a joist laying flooring. Called ERG because we were in a rush and have a baby due next week, searched emergency plumbers and these guys show up.

I pulled up the subfloor so all was ready for the plumber.

Guy arrived, said he couldn't do it because it needed soldering (as it's over the joist) and left saying the office would give us a quote. Seemed pretty happy to leave with us having no mains water, only because I'd insisted and he shut off the hot water tank (which is a handle in the garage), and I turned on the mains back on.

I'm a landlord. I was under the impression this was a local company due to the scam marketing they use. I got these guys out to a property where the tenant had no hot water. I provided all contact numbers for the tenants and myself. They didn't turn up on the day saying they couldn't raise anybody on the numbers provided - simply a lie. They turn up a day late and charge me £150 - for telling me the pump was broken. They left the tenant saying it might be "sometime next week" when they came back. I ring up to complain - "you can email the customer complaints email if you want". What an absolute shower.

I really wish I had read this site first. This company is overpriced, incompetent, decietful, and unpleasant. AVOID!

Disappointing £150 for a 5 minute job. Just flushed the toilet and told me he will be back with the part. He never came back and never received a call to inform me what is happening. Stay clear of the company it is a rip off.

I am sorry for customers who have dealt with ERG.
Not wishing to be a "smart Guy", I was employed in the legal department of the Citizens Advice Bureau and thought I had seen it all, I was wrong! What are "facilitators"? Reading the experience of others we had a similar encounter and lost money. Thankfully, we have a honest tradesman and the has been resolved. I now intend to pursue EGR and will be contacting the relevant Government Dept.'s and the "boss" of ERG. RQ

This star rating is only given as the engineer Ian that came to complete the works was very professional and knowledgeable. The actual attitude from the people behind the telephone ie the office staff are very blaza, arrogant, lying 🤥 false. The team in the office lie that much they don’t even realise what they saying. 24 hrs late for the allotted appointment, no apologies. Was down to me to contact for an update, again lied about bogus emergency call outs. Lack of communication between company and client.
On top of that they take the payments before they submit either a quotation or an invoice.
Through my experience if you have to use this company do not give out card details.

Awful company. Absolute Scam. They go under different names depending on the type of work required. They are called ERG Facilities Ltd. They will charge you £150 regardless if work is completed or not. Basically £150 for someone to come out. They say this charge is labour but it isn't, its a call out charge. They will then quote you extortionate prices. DO NOT give them payment details, they will debit your account even if no work is completed. Just use a reputable local trades person using check a trade. The company are set up to simply rip people off.

I phoned them for an emergency call out when a nail went through a pipe.Quoted £180 per hour. plumber came, said we were lucky to get him as it was a Sunday. Basically did a temporary fix on the pipe, bit of soldering. Left me with heating not working (he said it would warm up after a while--it didn't. He was there an hour and 8 minutes, charged full 2 hours. Had to get another plumber to have a look at the heating. He said the work was shoddy. He did a permanent fix on the pipe and got the heating working. ERG customer service is awful. Couldn't get to speak to anyone, only email. They said their plumber said he had done the job satisfactorily etc.
Please do not use this company. A nail in a pipe has cost me a total of £630 (this includes the cost of putting it right).

I am becoming very anxious since I discovered your company is acting fraudulently. Despite your company taking funds from my account without the correct authorisation I am now being pursued to actually have some work done based on a ‘quote’ your company has thrown together.

This is in excess of over £750.00 plus VAT. As with the first payment I DO NOT AUTHORISE any funds to be taken from my account.

I would like this in writing by return please.

I need to present this to my bank who are obviously concerned at the tactics in place to take money fraudulently from accounts.

This Company are certainly everything the lower reviews say. A FRAUDULENT COMPANY. After calling the comany for a pipe flush I was asked for my Bank details, Yes, I agree what a fool I am. The Engineer turned up and was there for 1 mili second to tell me he couldn't do the job. I was told there would be NO CHARGE. Guess what ! this afternoon £234.00 has been removed from my bank. I would URGE people NOT ever to give bank details. Genuine customers like myself have been completely HAD by ERG Facilities Ltd10 Journeymans WayTemple Farm Industrial EstateSouthend-On-SeaSS2 5TF. DO NOT GIVE BANK DETAILS. Trading Standards will be getting a call and the Financial Ombudsman !

AVOID COMPANY AT ALL COSTS
Back in December our boiler was leaking and we had no heating, keen to sort it out ASAP I googled and came across this company. When I phoned up I thought Wow that's expensive when I was quoted £255 + VAT per hour - but I didn't know any different so assumed that would be similar cost whoever I called. I figured I didn't mind paying it to get the job done. The guy came and was here for 3 hours, as you can imagine I was starting to panic about the fact it was going to cost so much. When I asked him he still had not found the problem let alone started fixing it. He told me it was an electrician problem and left. My electrician friend came and it was not an electrical fault at all so we found a new gas engineer who had found the fault within 10 minutes and fixed it within 25 minutes.
I tried calling ERG as I was worried about them taking such a large payment for not doing anything. Especially now I had paid an electrician to come out and another engineer. People on the phone couldn't help so I cancelled my credit card altogether to stop them taking payment. Thank goodness I did as they attempted to take the full payment without even a courtesy call. Now, 6 months later they are chasing for payment and as a 'good will gesture' are saying I only need to pay £145 + VAT instead of the £800 odd I'm supposed to pay. If you ask me, that's still a hell of a lot of money for spending 3 hours flicking through the instruction manual...!

Exactly what everybody else has said NEVER USE THIS COMPANY. They charged an extra hour on to the 40 minutes they were at the premises! Daylight robbery.
I was already paying extortionate hourly rate because it was a sunday emergency call out.

Do not use this company - they are ridiculously expensive. It would have been zero stars had there been that option.

Read all the bad reviews and take note!! I wasted my time dealing with these cowboys ,it was stressful to say the least.Please do not bother with them.

Please Please do NOT use this company they are well known scammers , They were call out by a carer to check the electrics at a vulnerable persons home because he thought he could smell smoke , they quoted £125 and then took £198 insisting that price was agreed on . Their electrician walk in turned the power back on check one socket and walked out 7 minutes tops , phoning their customer service is just a waste of time , Dont use them they are crooks
