This company tried to charge my 90 year old mum £130 for something they could not do, luckily I managed to cancel the card before they claimed it but still a lot of bother, ringing the bank and having to wait up to a week before receiving a new one. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES

I called this company this morning as having problems with washing machine filling up when not in use and dishwasher not draining properly. They took card payment but assured me that payment would not be taken until job has been completed. The plumber arrived 20 mins later, was here for 5 minutes, had no idea what was wrong and said the dishwasher was probably faulty. Ridiculous as both appliances new. He didnt check the connections and left. I called the company to express my outrage and to tell them not to take the money out of my account £125 + VAT as job was not done. They said the only option I had was for the same plumber to come back the next day. I said absolutely not as he didnt have a clue and I said if they took the money out of my account this would be done without my permission. DO NOT TOUCH THIS COMPANY. They send people out who have no idea what they’re doing and the company should be stopped from trading - absolutely appalling. Not only did he not fix the problem but now the dishwasher is not working at all as he cut the water supply to it. I now have called another plumber to come and fix the problem this company has caused. OUTRAGEOUS.

We contacted ergfacilities, having experienced an electrical problem . I spoke with Taylor C, who was helpful, friendly and professional. He organised a local electrician to come out to help us, within an hour and a half which is difficult under current circumstances. We recommend this service.

Darren has just left my property. He’s done a great job. Very friendly and helpful. I would recommend this company for their efficiency and professionalism. They are not the cheapest but you get what you pay for. Thank you

Came to fix my boiler because it was making noises. He came and had a look for 10 minutes then told me he can’t find any problems and left. I thought they was going to change around £30 max but they took £150 for 10 minutes job without fixing the problem... do not use this company.....

My 83yr old father thought his telephone quote was £145 plus vat in total but it was £145 per hour and they took 4 hours to fit only a fire that was all ready to just be connected. Absolute robbery of an old man. Disgusting!!!!! This review is only the start of my complaining!!!

If I could give zero I would. These people are the worst kind of joke. I phoned at 10, a local plumber came at 13:00 looked at the job said the office would get back to me with a quote but he had a job somewhere else first. No contact from the office even though I chased via the chat line and over the phone. Meanwhile I had no hot water. At the end of the day I had to get a proper company to do the job. These jokers then me a £175 charge for a 5 min visit en route to another job!! Perhaps the charge was for providing me with a totally wasted and pointless day without hot water.
AVOID THESE JOKERS LIKE THE PLAGUE, they are not even efficient commissioning agents. I now have to write to the trading standards at the local council.

Absolute shysters. Despite their phone patter and what it says on their website, they do not have their own tradespeople, they merely act as a commissioning agent for local contractors - after calling numerous local engineers before christmas to sort out an issue on a 30 year old boiler, they either said they weren't able to fix the problem due to the age of the boiler, or weren't able to look at it until the new year. Out of desperation I phoned ERG who said they'd be able to get someone out the next day between 9am and 12pm. It got to 4pm and I hadn't heard anything so I chased and was abruptly told they were on their way. It got to 6pm and still hadn't heard anything, so I chased again. I was told that I'd need to speak to customer services so they could contact the engineer directly. After waiting on hold for 10 minutes I was cut off, so I phoned straight back and was then told to speak to customer services over live chat. I posted the job details in the chat section and waited for a response, but an hour later it hadn't even been read, so I phoned back again and just cancelled the job. An hour later I received a call from an engineer saying he was on his way, and it was one of the local engineers I had already phoned previously who said they couldn't help due to the age of the boiler.

Also, whilst ERG say they do not charge a call-out fee, the minute an engineer walks through your door they charge you for the first hour, regardless of whether any work is done or not.

Do not use this company. I was told an engineer would come out to fix the boiler. £145 per hour plus parts and labour. When he came he did nothing but curse and swear in front of my 2 year old grandson and family. Said he was not there to fix the boiler. He was only a contractor to find out the problem. He was very sarcastic and totally unprofessional. I've been without water or heating for 3 days and no closer to my boiler being fixed. They are ripping people off. Taking advantage of the cold weather and time of year.

a so called engineer came told me that my boiler was. obsolite charged over 250pnd However I called another company they said it could be mended it was not obsolite he ordered the part and fitted it the next day

DO NOT USE!! They asked for my card details to secure the booking, after I gave them I came on here and saw the reviews - so rang back up and cancelled. They told me my details had all been destroyed but the following days after I had multiple fraudulent attempts on my card totaling to over £2000!

Do not use, they do not turn up when they say and they do not return once they have identified the problem, their customer service is a joke. Been five days without heating now and still not resolved. Do Not Use.

HORRIBLE PLACE. AVOID. AVOID. AVOID. Came down, had a look, said need a new parts. Will ring back shortly. Three days did not heard from them. Then realised they took from me for undone work £198.
After few calls to office, we had an email from them. Engineer reported that we need it a new boiler, they hourly rate is £65 + vat, unfortunately engineer haven’t got that parts in his van so we need to rebook an appointment for next repair.
No way!!!! Never ever again!

Worst company I’ve ever used. Wrong engineer sent out due to call handler incompetence and then still charged an obscene amount. No customer service at all. I really wish I’d read these reviews before using them.

Absolute joke! Charged £240 for 15min and the only thing they did was add water into the system but DID NOT sort out the leak. So the water pressure was down to zero within a few hours! I complained and was told they won’t give me a refund or resend the engineer Ian to fix what he failed to do in the first place! Massive joke of the company. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!

Same as everyone else here. Paid just under £200 for them to send an engineer within 4 hrs and do nothing. Wasted money.

TERRIBLE ..THEY ARE SO GOOD AT SENDING OUT SOMEONE QUICKLY AT £165 plus vat..the job was my pilot light wasn't connecting etc..the engineer came (they are sub contractors)..and said he cudnt fix it I asked him what do I do next? His reply " I don't know " ..I called the company to speak to them about this ...and apparently they " couldn't find the " job" on their system????

Disgusted. Waited 11 hrs after being told would be a morning call. Confirmation email was sent wrong address and wasnt resent til 5pm, this from 8 am. Then engineer arrived, was excellent so would recommend him but. Next day two bills arrived one to service boiler of 174 which was fine. Was done in 30 mins. Got another charging 200 to charge batteries in a timer that we supplied. Apparently its 2 jobs! Tried speaking to a manager but refused being put through so at present 1 star, if its rectified would be 3. Waiting to hear back

AVOID this company! I really wish that I would read the reviews before I booked with them... This company ripping people off... The engineer came and found out nothing was broken he didn't repair anything only shown us how to set up the hot water timer, this happened only in 10 minutes and they charged me £198 for this!! Disgusting..they just care about making profit and don't actually care about customers...

Complete scam. Do not use. £195 to come and look at it then the same plus parts when they come and fix it.
