Just a call centre in Southend that allegedly tries to find plumbers from the internet when you want one. They never do. Promises of arrivals that don't happen and massive bills if you do ever get one.
No customer service department, only sales phone numbers. And they have a cancellation department!! How many cancellations do you get if you need a cancellations department?!?!

AVOID AVOID AVOID.... At all costs. We had two "orders" boiler service and new supply for a cooker. Two cancellations and when the engineer eventually turned up was only quoting for the new supply. ERG are extremely expensive time wasters that have no engineers themselves, sub contract everything....... You may have to wait a bit in these wierd times, but stay local and give your hard earned money to the professional guys who actually do the work!! Our engineer was wonderful, I'll be going direct in the future.

Had to wait two days from 9am till 5pm and still no one has come. Dissapointing. Had to cancel and get someone else to do the job👎🏼

ABSOLUTELY USELESS - AVOID. THEY CANCELLED ON ME 3 TIMES AND STILL WOULDN'T OFFER ANY DISCOUNT. RUDE, ARROGANT, TIMEWASTERS

My mum has a leaking boiler and has waited in for TWO days. They have continually promised to turn up and have failed her. I have her on the phone now crying because she is in a predicament without hot water and it’s almost 8pm and I have cancelled them and will start again.
I wish she had read these appalling reviews before booking this company.
Advice is go nowhere near them.
What a joke. Someone in their seventies, vulnerable and without heating and hot water and this is what we get!

3 days in a row didn’t come. Didn’t call back absolutely bad service

Boiler decided to eject water. House was filling fast. Quick search came up with Local plumber even using a local number. Turns out they are way down in Southend somewhere.
£175+Vat for hours labour they stated but as the house was rapidly flooding I had to say yes. Boiler guy arrived in 2 hours. Came from Essex somewhere. Told me boiler was knackered before removing the cover (no gas safe identification). Anyway, he chopped the main water feed to the boiler and then left after telling me what new boiler I need. Alarmingly he left the boiler cover off (illegal).
Erg keep texting me saying they couldn’t take the payment. I’ve not been given an invoice so thank god! Besides, they shouldn’t be keeping my card details on file (illegal).
I’m grateful the guy came out and I wouldn’t mind giving him maybe £100 for his trouble BUT I’m not convinced he was gas safe. Normally I would have checked but as I said, but if panic going on!
I’ve heard these guys don’t have engineers in their books and if they can’t find anyone, they just use yellow pages!
I beg anyone to avoid this company and keep searching or even use Facebook for plumbers which is what I should have done in the first place!

Don’t even consider using. Had an emergency call out for my boiler breaking down, and didn’t turn up for 2 days. By this time I had already booked another honest and prompt company. They still tried to chase me for the call out fee. Absolute con artists.

SCAMMERS. My boiler gave hot water but needed to be run for 20 minutes. It made awful noises as well. The engineer came and broke it so gives no hot water at all now and said I needed new parts which will cost more. Made some fake call on the phone to prolong the call out. They took my credit card before call out as well. £125+VAT. Lucky for me they took my credit card details incorrectly and were unable to charge for the scammer engineer breaking my boiler which I'm sure he did on purpose, but now I have no hot water. I don't know how these people are still in business. AVOID!!!!

My boiler was locking out with around 4 seconds of starting. I called various gas safe engineers who did not even respond to my voice messages. I then called ERG who said that and engineer would be with me by 5pm, I called at around 2.30pm. I then received a text telling me that he would be with me 45 minutes which was the exact time he arrived. He inspected the boiler, identified that it was the pump internal seals that had gone, all within 30 minutes of arriving.

Engineer didn't turn up 2 days in a row when promised. Spent an hour fixing boiler still didn't work came back and discovered he had installed part incorrectly but erg charged me for the extra hour which was his mistake. They are ignoring my request for a refund. DO NOT USE

Terrible service. The gas engineer was very rude unprofessional and aggressive when I asked him to leave my old replacement part with me, he was being arrogant, big mistake of selecting this company to get work done by this company.
Engineer was extremely aggressive and did damage our personal property.Avoid this people if it’s possible.

Don’t touch with a barge pole!! Having spoken to an operator at approx 9.00 am Tuesday following a water leak and having turned off all water to the house, a confirmatory email was received stating a plumber would arrive before 1.00 pm. At 2.00 pm with no plumber I phoned again to be told that operators are NOT aware of plumber availability and that I would not have a plumber until Thursday. Unbelievable - so unprofessional.

They promised to be onsite before 6pm Friday, not long before they phoned to say Monday. Not much good hen it's an emergency

Terrible service. Plumber turned up, was in house for 5 minutes, took a part with him leaving toliet inoperable (it was only a minor trickle) and asked for payment of £150 before they would give me a quote for the job. Refused to return part for 3 months.

Don't bother.. I booked a appointment for a service was then contacted on the day with them cancelling my appointment after iv taken the day off work myself and lost a days pay .

RIP off - DO NOT USE!! We had a pipe leaking into our airing cupboard and needed it fixing immediately. On yellow pages it said they were local plumbers and gave a local number to ring. I got put through to a call centre which should have alerted me but they said that they could get it fixed by 5pm the same day. They said it would be £145 + VAT for an hours labour but the guy on the phone said it sounded like it could be fixed in an hour. They came out and after less than half an hour said it was a filter that was leaking but he didn’t have one on his van so would have to come back the next day and the office would call me with a quote as I would now have to pay for another hours labour the next day plus parts. Because he had isolated the filter we had no hot water or shower so I felt we had no choice. When the office rang with the quote we said that we felt that we had been ripped off but they weren’t interested. They said that it would take an hour to fit the new filter so we would have had to pay for two hours anyway. When he came it took half an hour but the timesheet he filled out said he had arrived five minutes before he did and finished ten minutes later making it 45 minutes labour instead. I am very cross that we’ve been ripped off!

Substandard work and once they have your money they don't wanna know!!
