You all as customers are being treated poorly the engineers that turn up have to fight to get their money for parts and labour they con everyone customer and engineers any parts or materials used to do the job also have 70% added too the cost putting more money in their pocket. This company should be closed down and it’s management jailed for life

Note: I do not recommend I paid £170 for something that should cost £70.

Absolute rip off company - I wish I had seen these reviews before using them. Weekend callout charge of £155 for a blocked pipe, plumber attended for less than 30 mins and then said he didn't have the machine with him today to clear the pipe and would need to come back. I was then quoted £450+ by the company for the next visit so naturally declined. The plumber turned up anyway cos the company is so incompetent at arranging things!

If I could give this company 0 stars I would.
Complete and utter con artists.
Call out fee of 178 pound, the plumber was in my house 10 minutes and couldn't resolve the issue which I was led to believe someone would immediately.
I blocked the payment to them and will be taking them to court as they are constantly harassing me for payment.

I would award zero stars to this company. DO NOT USE. I was quoted £245 call out for an emergency on a Sunday morning. It took a not very competent plumber 4 hours to locate the leak. As I was made to leave my credit card details at the initial phone call, I was then charged over £1000. £225 call out is a lot but ok, but absolutely NOT ok for an hourly rate. My insurance is refusing to pay this. I have phoned the company 4 times each time to be told I will be called back when they have listened to the original phone call but have not been called back. Even if I was quoted that figure as an hourly rate it is unacceptable; I was on my own and panicking, just needing it fixed. Unfortunately these reviews do not come up on the site, so no one in an emergency situation is going to hunt them out.

I wish I had been able to research company before contacting them but like most people I was responding to an emergency on behalf of a tenant. The only good thing was that they came fast. However, plumber exaggerated the work he did and falsified the work sheet stating that it took, twice as long as it did, thereby doubling the already excessive rate that I was quoted. I was also charged an exorbitant amount for a small piece of piping. I was not even aware that I was dealing with Ergplumbing when payment was taken as they advertised as Fast Response Plumbers. My attempt to resolve the issue with customer services is being ignored.

We have carried out work for ERG and have been told that we will have to wait for 6 months to get paid - please do not use companies like this, approach your local plumbers -they will be cheaper and faster. We just hope that they do not go down the pan before we get our money!!

Don't trust this firm. They say they are local but they are not. Don't turn up when promised. Take your card details before any work done - or before appointment. Would give no stars if I could.

Was having radiator problems. Have been charged £1000 deposit, and no work done at all. Arrived twice without materials. Failed to turn up once. Told us van broke down, and then said supplier couldn't source any new radiators. Plumber then said he'd lost details of the job, but ERG said costs now increased another £300. I am trying to get some money back through card charge back. Local plumber has now done the work for half the cost quoted by ERG.

These guys are crooks. Take your card details in advance so that they can charge you anything. Weekend for a dripping tap could be expensive but £454, youve got to be kidding.
Should have read the reviews on here first because honestly why would anyone use such a dishoest lot.

Call them and they take your card details so that they can charge you what they want. Don't send you a bill explaining charges. They said it would be £180 per hour plus parts. The engineer who came out was very nice and changed my thermostat in less than an hour, he said the thermostats cost £80 so I was expecting a bill of £260. They charged me £327.60 and no explanations.

They promised an engineer by 9 pm

Waited in for them to arrive

Then phoned at 830 to say if I did not pay a higher price than quoted they would not come (said their quote was made in error and they could no longer honour it!)

I agreed higher price as little choice and they said engineer would now be on the way.

I called back to ask for eta and they said sorry can’t make it anymore tonight.

Wish I had seen other reviews before I wasted hours waiting for this company when I could have used another company

They do not even deserve the 1 star. A great let down, costing me a lot of money and their after sales service is just abysmal, I have already written a review but it seems to have disappeared. Anyone seeking service from this company needs their head testing.

I have now tried this firm twice for emergency plumbing issues, as they claim to be a 24/7 service. On both occasions they have taken my call, told me their charges, and promised a plumber would be with me by a set time, (2 hours later). On both these occasions they phoned me back at the time they were due to be with me to tell me the couldn’t get a plumber to me, wasting 2 hours I could have spent phoning other companies who might actually have sent a plumber. They have then offered me a plumber in 2 days time. Unless what you want is an expense waste of time, avoid this company!

3 times was promised engineer. 3 times did not turn up. DO NOT use this company!,,,s

Charged £174 for one leaking tap for less than an hour of work, the tap is still leaking very expensive and didn't finish the job

Only put one star as wouldn't let me right a review without it I've been totally ripped off engineer came out did not fix my boiler walked away company has took two payments of 210 pounds which I'm fighting to get back still no working boiler all over Christmas taking this company to court wish I had used a local reliable engineer please avoid this company hope they like newspapers and watch dog on TV because I can assure you I will be naming and shaming I'm a middle aged girl on a low income with health problems and I have been scammed big time Do Not use this company

this is the worst service ever! Unfortunately I didn't read the reviews before calling them. I waited hours to see an engineer. He did absolutely nothing! He said everything was working fine and a couple of days later the charged 195£+VAT!
No way to stop the payment and everyone would agree that this is an absolutely ridicolous amount for doing no job.

Absolutely terrible. Totally unreliable. Messed us around for a week with repeated failure to turn up. Often not even phoning to apologise. Staff really not bothered advising that if we don't wan to use them just cancel. After protracted but unfulfilled promises we cancelled and will never give them an opportunity again.

I was totally ripped off for a leaking boiler on Xmas Eve by ERG Facilities (same as this company) and to add insult they tried to sell me a replacement for £2700+VAT (local engineer quoted and is installng the exact same including labour and VAT for £1500).
