Poor service.
I was promised to have Internet when I moved into my new home instead I had to wait until the 12th January. Also I was promised I would be called back with updates on the progress of being connect it did not happen I am not a very happy customer.
New email address needed
I phoned Expert Telcom because I needed to change my email address. Liana answered within 3 rings. She was friendly, helpful and efficient. Obviously enjoys her job, and customer satisfaction is top priority.

My elderly mother has had no landline…
My elderly mother has had no landline for 12 days, been reported 3 times and still nothing!! Also this company sold her a package as £11.50 per month but her bills range from £40 to £60 and nobody at the company can say why. Very very unhelpful!

Learn from my experience
1. I was cold-called by ET, saying they were a new retail branch of Openreach, and could offer much lower fees than BT for the same service.
2. I agreed, but received no written contract.
3. The fees turned out to be much greater than BT's.
4. I complained about the excessive fees. Only once were they reduced.
5. After 4 months I made a formal complaint to ET and transferred back to BT.
6. The formal complaint miraculously resulted in the complaints manager finding that I had been seriously overcharged. He offered a large refund but they wanted to charge £299 early termination fee.
7. I threatened to complain to Ofcom and they agreed to reduce the early termination fee to £199.
8. I held out, and eventually they reduced that to £69, which I reluctantly agreed to pay.
Clearly ET do want want to be reported to Ofcom. They seem to have very few employees, many of whom also work for Transparent Telecom. I doubt very much if they are part of Openreach. A lot of the five star reviews here appear to be suspicious: I can't believe that so many genuine customers are pleased with their service. But you can make up your own mind.
(The good news: on returning to BT my charges are less than they were before!)
