Excellent from start to finish
Having had previous bad experiences with two other chesterfield sofa companies, I was delighted when I found Fleming Howland. The service from beginning to end was excellent. I was looking for a specific style of chesterfield and I was assisted with choosing the style, leather, colour and sizes of my sofas. There was a wait for the sofas because they are handcrafted in traditional style, however, they were well worth the wait. I am absolutely delighted with my sofas, they high quality, and the leather is beautiful. I know they will withstand daily use and grow more beautiful with time.

Excellent quality leather Cheserfield sofa at a competitive price
We were looking for a new Chesterfield leather sofa and trawled the internet and John Lewis, but could not really find what we were looking for at a competitive price. We found Fleming and Howland and went to see their showroom. The welcome was first class as was seeing the sofas actually being made in their own workshops. From initial visit to the completed sofa being delivered by Fleming and Howland's we were very impressed and are now enjoying a beautiful piece of furniture which exactly fits the space we had available for it. Very impressed.

Fleming Howland are very professional and detailed in the description of their products and the quality that is both engineered and built in to it. The delivered product was excellent and met all our expectations. Delivery timescales are protracted and may feel somewhat indeterminate but I guess that for a product that is entirely hand made to specification, this is to be expected.

Disappointment is an understatement.
After receiving our couches from Fleming and Howland we followed the inspection criteria to the letter. My wife and I inspected all of the boxes that the furniture came in none of which were damaged. We unpacked all of the boxes ourselves and meticulously inspected the couches and found significant damage on the bottom left-hand corner of the three seater Hamilton and several Nick’s in the leather of which we took numerous photos and sent this to Fleming and Howland customer support to see what they could do. We stated during unpacking that the boxes they came in, the plastic bags they were wrapped in and the dust bags that they were covered in were not damaged in anyway and that we believe that this damaged was caused during packing or manufacture. Upon receiving a reply email from Flemming and Howland customer support essentially saying that I was lying and that the damage must have been caused post delivery, that this would not be covered under warranty. It was never my intention to return the couches for replacement but was hoping for a better response than… it is your fault not ours. I will not be a repeat customer Fleming and Howland……Do Better!!!! Much Better.

I purchased a chair from Fleming Howland and the experience was stellar. Ordering was easy, the communication during the construction process was clear, and after delivery I had a small question which the customer care team resolved in short order. The piece is stunning and you can clearly see the care and attention to detail they put into it.

I will like to say that the experience…
I will like to say that the experience with this company can qualify as the worst. I made the order back in 2024 June 26th and it suppous to be delivery in November early in the month which never happens. I did not received any notification from them till I sent a email asking for an update. Then the costumer services told me that I should be notified when the order will be ready to ship which I never was till I sent another email asking for update. In that moment they said that the furniture was fining and will be sent to USA in the next shipping. The transportation company contacting me to let it me know that the order should be receive in December 23 one month after the prevues delivery time and by the way never happen. Three days before the deliver they told me that they were out of trailer to do the delivery also the order were not complete. I change the delivery address with Fleming & Howland on October and the store costumer service never change. When I spoke with the delivery company they told me that if I want to change the delivery address I have to call or contact the store in England to have approval for them. After that happens they will be able to re-shedule the delivery with I refuse. I pay for this services more that $12000.00 dollars in order to receive a white clove delivery services and the best treatment for the fornature company. In this point I can not say anything about the quality of the furniture because I did not received. I will never buy anything for this company again and I will never use the delivery company also. I hope that I can be compensate for them.
