Nice and very friendly accomodation. No problem that I had to relay on the night safe after a car breakdown. All easy and very nicht rooms and breakfast. Extremely friendly! Many thanks!

Alles goed
Alles goed. Great personal. Room, bath - everything is excellent!
Friendly and helpful
All personnel were friendly and helpful, including the cleaners. Our room was clean and comfortable. We slept well. I especially loved using the swimming pool and sauna early in the morning and late at night. My request for more clean towels was promptly attended to. The "stagiaire" helped us organize our rented electric bicycles and lowered my saddle for me. The meals were good and all in all we enjoyed our stay in Ellecom!

Excellent location and all you need for a good stay. Swimming pool, sauna, bowling, beautiful surrounding and nice walking area and good restaurant.
Nice rooms
Nice rooms, well furnished gym, awesome breakfast, very good service
Sweet hotel
Sweet hotel, with a great workers. Thank you for comfort and emotions in small and beautiful city.
Comfortable
Comfortable, clean hotel with amazing staff.
The room is well organized, comfortable, and clean but not spacious which was not a problem. Breakfast is delicious with a variety of choices. The bed was comfortable and clean. The staff was amazing. They went over and beyond to help make my son and I stay an enjoyable one. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Apeldoorn.
It was a great hotel
It was a great hotel
Only thing I found a shame was the wellness place: there should be free big towels and also shampoo/shower gel.
It's a shame the wellness isn't contact to the outside with a nice relax-area.
The room and the view were great.
Thanks
Bad communication
Many things are not ok at the hotel and I've you ask or make a complain they don't listen.
We stayed at Avegoor and
1) when we arrived the room wasn't ready had to wait for 2 hours.
2) lunch took them 50 min to make; and there was nobody else in the restaurant.
3) pool was closed (didn't call or email in advance)
4) restaurant was fully booked in the evening (also didn't call or email to let us know)
5) when we told the manager we weren't happy, he didn't answer.
Very bad customer service
Very bad customer service. Fletcher Hotels.
After I bought 2 tickets At Albert Heijn, I start looking online for available hotels.
I was aware that it was depending on availability.
So i was expecting a hotel in the middle of nowhere.
I was surprised that there where no hotels available in the weekends for the saturday on Sunday.
Somewhere there was a room available from friday on saturday (3 hotels from 110!, disapointing) but it was not possible to book the following night, even if i want to pay full for it.
This is all in contrary with there own conditions.
I wrote several emails to get information.
But Fletcher avoid my questions and keep giving the same generic anwers.
My advice:
Only buy a ticket at Albert Heijn if you need to stay a night in the middel of the week.
A weekend is NOT possible.
Don't buy their vouchers!!!
Copied from another review as they exactly described my situation:
Very bad customer service.
I bought a voucher with which you can book a stay 28 days before arrival. The voucher stated that a set number of rooms is reserved for the vouchers every day. Booking on a Saturday was impossible due to the fact that no rooms were made available. When calling customer service they said that if a hotel is booked full, no spots are made available, making the statement on the voucher a lie. Only one hotel in the middle of nowhere was available according to the customer service, and hotels that were still available on a Saturday online didn't show up on the voucher too. The customer service didn't want to help me book a room.
I will never buy their vouchers again. It's a waste of 30 euros each. In the weekends you also pay 20 euros extra and for all their 4* hotels you pay another extra 10. So in Dutch we say: a cheap buy makes an expensive buy.

The service person right at the…
The service person right at the reception desk sounded Cold and not welcoming.
It also says volumes about the complete Hotel atmosphere, which would be like : Cold, unwelcoming & not flexible.
This was a very Rude experience with Fletcher, and from the next time, I know at least one hotel chain that a man needs to avoid, and so would my friends too.
Voucher worthless
Voucher worthless, days of communication with Fletcher Hotels are useless, I'd say this is done to get people's money and it delivers 0, zero, nada, null, nothing. Be aware of Fletcher Hotels, it stinks of poor customer service.
DO NOT accept a voucher. Take a refund.
After a shocking stay in 2021, I was offered a "We'd love to see you back" voucher instead of a refund. I accepted the voucher, as the only hotel I could not use it with wasn't of interest to me.
Fastforward to 2022 and I try to use my voucher to book a hotel in Amsterdam, only to find out that the hotel isn't available to be booked with my voucher.
After speaking with Customer Support, they tell me that the conditions of the voucher mean that hotels may change availability for voucher bookings without notice. They also tell me that the hotel of my choice is no longer valid for voucher bookings. To quote the email that came with my voucher:
"With this code you can book an overnight stay for two people in a Fletcher Hotel of your choice (except: Fletcher Hotel Duinoord). The code is valid for one year."
They never notified me of the conditions of the voucher until I went to book the hotel. They never notified me that the Amsterdam hotel was added to the list of restricted hotels.
Vouchers instead of refunds should not be a lottery. They should be valid as required. They are "we screwed up, sorry, here's another stay" situation.
They point-blank refuse to honour the voucher. I have booked travel arrangements for my trip, under the knowledge that my voucher would be valid. It is not. I am now 150€+ out of pocket, and face paying at least 100€ for a hotel booking.
Their customer service is utterly shocking. If they do not provide me with a refund for my original booking, I will be going to my card issuer for a chargeback.
Worst hotel I ever stayed at
We arrived to a room rate of 850 euro not the 480 we got online. We opened our room to find everything absolutely disgusting. The sheets and mattress had blood, body fluids and large brown stains obvious to that one. The walls had fresh spit from someone's mouth or other part of their bodies on the walls next to our head not fully dried clearly from the night before. The shower door came off and fell on my girlfriend while she was showering with our new born baby. The carpets had leftover food in the corners or the room and the toilet had skid marks still inside. We checked out a day early. Even a bottle of water costs almost 5 euros. And a manager that after all this thought the correct way to handle the matter was simply to clean our room. This is disgusting to treat guests like this. Not even a free drink or something. The best part about the whole hotel is the girls on reception who despite all this they tried to help the best they could. Also thank you to the amazing Chefs upstairs especially the one who told me the truth about my food he didn't want to sent to me. So I was at the bar ordering food and I chose fish and chips when I received it the fish was cremated it was burnt almost black. The manager despite kitchen saying don't send it, sent it to me. Good management. 👍 but of course I sent it back immediately. If you find yourself lucky to read this review stay as far from this hotel that looks like a giant spotted dick as possible unless you just want to eat something in which case that's all they're good for.
Terrible experience at Fletcher Hotel…
Terrible experience at Fletcher Hotel in Apeldoorn! Room smelt of mold, heater wouldn't turn off. The breakfast was inedible with fruit rotting! I checked out early, advised by reception to email their support center to request a refund. 7 days and coy ring now response from Fletcher group! A very disappointing experience. I do not recommend this hotel!
Lousy room service
On weekends all the meals in room service is 1 hour out of the schedule and worst of all the personnel is not even apologizing about the delay
Disappointing stay and even worse customer service
I would like to thank you for your "Lack of Customer Service".
on the 16th December I booked a package through the Fletcher Hotels Website. The package was 297 Euros and was for the below:
BLUE WELLNESS PACKAGE 3 DAYS
2 x overnight stay
2 x extensive breakfast
1 x delicious 3-course à la carte dinner (in hotel restaurant or BLUE Wellness)
2 x day entrance BLUE Wellness from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm
The dates were the 18th to the 20th December.
Upon arrival at 3pm on Saturday I checked in and at 19:00pm the Dutch government announced the lockdown the following morning at 4am.
Immediately I spoke to Reception and asked how it would work. Being I booked a "Blue Wellness Package" and that the restaurant and FItness club would be closed. Along with anything all in the area (Restaurants etc).
I asked if I could check out and was advised that this was possible and the remaining parts of the package could be used in the future as a package.
3 weeks later after having to make 4 calls and send 3 emails I received 2 x entrances to the Blue wellness centre at the Fletcher Hotel in Middleberg a 3-hour drive from my house.
I called the hotel and was told that as I had not cancelled in 24 hours this was all I could be offered. I challenged this and was again told it was "Hotel Policy". I decided to then escalate this to the Customer Service Team as logic was obviously in short supply when dealing with the hotel.
How was I was? I was called by the hotel and spoke to a member of the customer service team. Again I was told I should of stayed at the hotel. I advised numerous times that I had come to this hotel specifically for Wellness and as this was not open there was no point in me staying there. I was then again advised that it was my choice and that I should not of checked out.
I then asked for this to be escalated further as I believe that common sense was not prevailing. I was advised that the customer service representative was the only and last escalation point in Fletcher Hotels and she refused to escalate further and hung up the phone.
I followed this up by email as I again wanted to discuss this with someone in a position of Authority. I was again advised of the below with the addition of dinner. Again this hotel is a 3 hours drive. Why would anyone drive 2 hours for dinner and a spa.
"Thank you very much for your email.
Sorry to learn that the communication regarding your complaint was not smooth.
However, what Claudi has indicated to you is correct.
Refund of the overnight stay is not possible. Except for the wellness, Fletcher was able to offer what you had booked. However, breakfast and dinner were in the room. When a guest checks out earlier that is a choice of his own.
You have already been compensated for the wellness and, as an exception, Claudi has offered you a dinner code for 2 people. If you still wish to make use of this, please let us know by replying to this email.
Since we cannot do anything else for your complaint and have already offered compensation, the message will be closed and further emails will not be answered.
Trusting to have informed you sufficiently"
In summary, Fletcher hotels have failed to look after its guests.
The package which was booked could not be supplied however I was expected to sit in a hotel room for the day instead of checking out earlier and using the remaining part of the package at another time.
I have paid 297 Euros for 1 night in a hotel and Breakfast and not the hotel chains representative simply don't answer my emails and refuse to escalate. This is something i would not expect from a Hotel chain that operates as many hotels as fletcher hotels. Also not one which operates as a Business Hotel.
Can get cheap nights with the vouchers, but....
Can get cheap nights with the vouchers, but then there's a lot of add ons. 10 euro extra if it's a 4 star, 10 extra if its the weekend, 5 euro reservation fee and then more options all with price attached. Spent more doing the reservation than the voucher cost. We did all this last weekend, and the 4 star doesn't even have coffee making facilities in the room :( I rang and asked for a kettle and was told it isn't possible. Didn't feel like a 4 star hotel.
