An experience so bad, it leaves me traumatised.

At fletcher hotel Hoevelaken the rude arrogant staff let down the reputation of the hotel

I bought a 35 euros social deal voucher but they added to my room all kind of surcharges, weekend surcharge, room surcharge, reservation surcharge, 4 star supplement charges , breakfast charge for a 4 year old 🙄at the end the price was triple. Hotel staff informed that I don't need to pay for children (age 3 and 4) but we can't stay in one room we need to spend the night separately. Can't recommended at all

Voucher we got clearly gave the impression breakfast was included. No, it was not and we had to pay extra. So we felt swindled. The quality of the main meal was below par for that sort of price, hot food was not, or the vegetables were dried out. Dame blanche had one small lump of ice cream (call it petit fille blanche?). Loads and loads of small ' mistakes' al in favor of the hotel, on the bill. No I will not be going there again.

Due to a sudden change in the dutch covid measurements I was forced to cancel my reservation and asked for a voucher for a later date or a reduction in the cancellation costs. The hotel was not willing to discuss any option and wants full payment regardless of the changed conditions. Another hotel reduced the cancellation fee to 0 without any problem even though they did not had to do that.

Rooms are dirty and resemble only remotely what was offered on their website, EXCEPTIONALLY BAD service, no opportunity to complain at the spot, no proper solution by headquarters customer service. Never again!
