Stay away from this company ordered £200.00 of flooring from Stockton store paid cash salesperson said it would be 7 to10 days delivery then they closed the store still have no flooring tried ringing various stores and head office in Dudley no one will answer the phone still trying to find where this flooring is stay well clear of these people you have been warned.

Avoid this company at all costs
I went into the Stockton store a week ago. I placed my order and handed over £820 in cash. That was the biggest mistake of my life. I was told that my order would be coming in this week. But yesterday the store closed and all the goods have been removed. I have rang other stores, but they would not help. I rang Head Office, but the person answering the phone, told me that she was there on her own and to ring back the next day to speak to the area Manager. I have rang again today, but the Manager was in a "meeting". I was promised that someone would call me back, but they haven't. Other stores are not answering and Head Office won't answer the phone. I guess that they think I can afford to lose my money. Dirty scumbags thats all they are. DO NOT DEAL WITH THEM, THEY ARE THEIVES

We went into our local branch about 2 weeks ago to order a piece of lino. We found a suitbale piece and paid by credit card, only to be told that this wan't available off the shelf - it would be a "special order" - about 1 week delivery. 2 weeks later, nothing arrived so I phoned the branch again, to be told that it would be delivered Wednesday. It wasn't, so I phoned Head Office and told them of our plight. I said I wanted a full refund and the Area Manager for our region Ok'd that. Fortunately I'd recorded the conversion on my phone (for training purposes).

Went into the branch Saturday only to be told that "as it was a special order" and there were no refunds. I said that we'd been told that we *could* have a full refund and they tried to fob us off with the excuse "Head Office don't work Saturday so I can't confirm that". I played back the recording and they were apparently satisified with that and we got our refund.

What a disgusting company!

I get the impression that the branches carry either no or very little stock, only samples, so in effect, everyting becomes a non-refundable spcial order. Anyway, save yourself time and stress and just don't use them in thh first place.

The worst company I have ever had the misfortune to deal with. Our floor was fitted less than a year ago, the click board type. After a few weeks some of the boards became 'unclicked' and gaps started to appear. We complained to the store (Erdington) and they sent the fitter back who glued the offending boards back together. A few weeks after that other gaps started to appear but the boards that had been glued started to bow. We therefore have half of the kitchen with huge gaps and the other half with huge humps as now they are glued they have no way of expanding. We have phoned the store on numerous occasions to be told the manager is not there and will get back to us and we have written to the head office in Dudley, nothing, no response whatsoever. Don't waste your money go to a reputable store. We have been advised by trading standards to take them to the small claims court now

Would never use this company ordered my floor online 2-3days delivery waited 3weeks still not delivered, they offered refund so I said ok , waited a further 3weeks still no refund, lucky I paid through PayPal so opened case against them and got my money back through PayPal

Ordered £800 worth of laminate flooring from the Stockton branch purely because I was impressed with the knowledge and helpfulness of the sales guy - he steered me away from proper wood because we have dogs, therefore probably saving us another £1,500 or so. On top of that, we were quoted £300 to have it fitted. We'd just brought a new house and we had other things to do with our time, so it sounded reasonable. We paid the £800 and left feeling happy having been told it would be 7-10 days to arrive and that they would get a call from them.

Two weeks later (Easter weekend) and we were passing so we called in. A few taps on the computer later and "it's due in next week". Next weekend, no news.

Called them, said should be the following week. 4 weeks later and apart from being £800 out of pocket we're no nearer to having our floor so we go in for a refund, but the card machine isn't working. We were told to call customer service and they would arrange for a BACS transfer.

What a waste of time that was! Spoke to the 12 year old who said she would get someone from accounts to call us back. Despite numerous calls to them, sometimes every 30 minutes, nobody called us back.

Eventually we went back to the Stockton store and did get a full refund thankfully. However, while this was going through at the card machine the guy smugly told us that our flooring had arrived Monday! So why no phone call to let us know?! I don't believe it had, and this was just his way of getting his own back at us. Pleb.

So, over a month later, and we still have no new flooring down in our house. The only good thing about this experience is that we found a true professional who is going to supply AND fit our flooring for nearly half of what these amateurs were going to charge us.

I would not recommend this company even if I was being paid by them. The clue should be the empty car park when you drive by! I would give them a minus score if I could - but Trust Pilot insists on giving at least one star. Avoid! Avoid! Avoid!

now 16 business days (22 actual days) and still no sign of a delivery...... unbelievably bad customer service!!

Never order online....

This is my first time I've ever had to do this, but the customer service for Floors 4 U is literally the worst I have ever experienced in my life and I do not know how they're still in business.

We put an order online on 22nd March for almost £900. The website says "delivered within 2-3 days". It's now been 15 business days and I've still no idea when they'll be delivered. The website still says they're in stock, so that's either a non-truth or wishful thinking.

We were due to have a new kitchen installed on 1st April and needed the flooring in place beforehand, so couldn't do that and still don't have any idea when they're being delivered. I have been promised numerous delivery days, rearranged work so I could be there (as it's kerbside delivery only and we're a second floor flat) and then rang on the day to find out what time they were being delivered, only to find out that weren't even coming that day. Such a waste of everybody's time....

Delays happen, and I would have been totally ok with that, if it wasn't for the continual broken promises and (what appear to be) made-up stories by the online staff Katie W. Who has promised to ring me back maybe 12 times, but I've only ever had one call from her, says stuff like (I didn't have you order number, I wrote your phone number down wrong, I don't have your number - they DEFINITELY have our number!).

Then they tell me we don't qualify for a discount because the floors were already discounted, but don't have an answer when I say they're the same price as in the store and there's no discount online, and they're the same price as when I bought them before (for first half of our flat in Nov 2017 - if we hadn't already done half our flat, then I would have definitely asked to cancel the order).

The one person (Katie) who deals with this, won't pass on the delivery company details contact to me, apparantly doesn't have any senior manager I can speak to and then still won't give me a delivery date.... I think you can see where the bottle-neck is!!! Such as shame because the shop staff are really helpful.

I really didn't want to post this, I just want our product that we spent nearly £900 on, and to get our kitchen finished!!!!

If this doesn't work then I am going to trading standards next because their website (& all other) promises are pure fiction!

Ordered flooring and requested fitting service. Paid in full. Fitter didn’t turn up on day agreed, didn’t call to explain. I had to call the store to find out why - staff very rude & told me the fitters ‘kid was ill’. Rearranged fitting for another day, when fitted arrived informed me he over ran on another job hence why he didn’t come for previous fitting date - so staff lied!
Chip in a panel and heading peeling every corner of laminate that was fitted. Requested for this to be repaired - was told no problem. Booked 3 times for this to be done and each time no fitter has turned up, and again no phone call or explaination. Called for the 100th time to rearrange repairs and had the call ended abruptly mid conversation. Tried to contact head office with no luck. Now been going on for 4 months.
AVOID!!! Unreasonable and complete lack of customer service. A joke of a company.

Ordered the laminate flooring and was told 7-10 days..... WRONG ......4 weeks later still waiting!!! Kept being told it’ll be here end of next week......Gave them an ultimatum and they still kept changing the goalposts!!!! It was a nightmare to keep rescheduling our fitter! Eventually got our money back. Wouldn’t order anything from there unless it was actually in stock and physically there to take away.

I have brought from sheldon Birmingham branch. The customer service was outstanding the product was great quality and i was given a good price. The manager Mo was honest and helpful. I brought a few months back and didnt have a very good experience. The new manager Mo called and convinced me to give them another chance so i did as i needed my lounge done. He realy changed that place around definitely will be going back to him.

I am so glad to see I am not the only person who has had an awful experience with these highly rude incompetent company my floor was down two months it bubbled everywhere but apparently it was my fault even though I used the products they advised and I purchased from them. Their were gaps every where they told me get an independent review which they would refund the cost . They took absolutely no responsibility for the awful products or workmanship. Refund really not even part was offered or an apology these people need seriously taking to court everyone who has complained should stand together they would have to listen then

Ordered and paid for flooring 10th Jan still waiting after being advised 7 to 10 days. Been called lair on phone wont refund money . Worst customer service ever

this company will never succeed in cardiff if there carpet fitters dont get back to you to measure your house as result i spent my £2800 with another company.

DO NOT USE FLOORS 4 YOU WHAT A JOKE OF A COMPANY. NO CUSTOMER SERVICE THE MANAGER OF CARDIFF BRANCH SWORE AT ME WHEN I TRIED TO COMPLAIN. THE FITTER HAS DAMAGED ALL MY FLOORING MY COVERING IN GLUE WHICH WILL NOT COME OFF.

I feel this post needs to come with a warning, as it is going to be mega boring and full of moaning, but PLEASE bear with me. If you hate injustice, and being 'beeped' over by big companies who don't give any 'beeps' about their customers, please share.
This mega moan is regarding Floors 4 U (Cardiff branch) who fitted vinyl in my utility room and kitchen with dire consequences. This company, I have since found out, are utter cowboys, who send incompetent workers to fit floors to a sub par level and then accept no liability when things go horribly wrong.
My request to Floors 4 U: For the existing laminate flooring be taken up as it was buckling and popping out of place and for the vinyl to be fitted.
What actually happened: The floor guys came round to fit the vinyl. After a few days I realised the vinyl felt spongey and there was a sound of swooshing water underneath. There was also CRAZY lumps and bumps that I could feel through the vinyl. When I lifted the vinyl the laminate floor was STILL there but was soaked through and had totally popped out of place. Instead of removing it, they had nailed it down. The floor was drenched as when they had pulled the washing machine out to fit the floor underneath, they had not plumbed it back in properly causing a leak that totally ruined the laminate. Consequently, my brother had to pull up all the old, soaked through and ruined laminate down to the concrete.
I went in to the shop, armed with photos of the mess. They assured me they would sort it and they were surprised at the mess they had left, as their work was usually so good!
Cut to one month later: After numerous phone calls, my brother in law kindly rang the company and was greeted by some kind of cyborg who was incredibly unhelpful and just repeated the same script to him, over and over, saying "Floors 4 U" are not liable as the floor guys are independent workers, not employees of them. However, I was unaware of this. I also trusted that the people Floors 4 U sent to fit my floor were professionals. We have since found out that there had been many complaints about these fitters, so it begs the question "WHY THE HELL ARE FLOORS 4 U SENDING PEOPLE WITH ZERO KNOWLEDGE TO PAYING CUSTOMERS' HOUSES?"
The floor guy has since totally gone off the radar, but not before asking me out on a date.
In summary... DO NOT EVER USE FLOORS 4 U. I am £500 down, and about to incur more cost to get the problem fixed.
Please share this and whatever you do, don't use Floors 4 U. (HEY, I DID A RHYME!)

Excellent service and product knowledge at the walsall Branch ,, went in yesterday and had fabulous service the guy was very happy to spend time with me and make sure o got everything sorted to put a new floor in my living room , highly recommended by me

I have never written a bad review but I feel I need to warn people of this company and the service it provides. My experience with them was good up until the point they received payment and were expected to deliver and install our wood flooring. It took them 4 weeks to install going from different colours than ordered, asking for more money for the installation, refusing to finish off the work (my doors needed trimming in the end although I specifically asked for the appropriate wood so that doors would not be trimmed). Regardless of the times I called the helpline (very difficult to find the number) nobody ever came back to me. Now, one month into the job I have started finding out how badly they put the floor down (from using screws to pin down the floorboards to leaving gaps between them). I have pictures to attach upon request and I am also looking how I can file an official complaint to trading standards but in all based on my experience avoid at all costs!!

Despite writing to the C E O and being advised that Sean the Regional manager would be in contact about the poor service ,no contact
Eventually a store manager rings and again states that the Regional manager will be in touch .
Two week later just a text wishing me H N Y and offering me 15% off if I make a purchase.
Write and complain and get a automated reply with 20 % off .

What a disgrace to be on the high street .
