HALESOWEN STORE great service

I literally found floors4you as I drove past the store in Halesowen. I’ve been looking at floors for weeks and weeks and I had compiled a shortlist of styles and specifications I liked, so I popped in on the off chance and I’m glad I did.
The two gentlemen in store were polite and nothing was too much trouble for them. They never pushed me for a sale (something I find annoying and off putting and I just leave), but instead they asked if there was anything I had in mind or liked and laid out sections of flooring that I chose for me to compare and explained the pros and cons and differences between them.
I compared my notes of flooring from previous stores across Birmingham and the Black Country and found that the products in my price range at floors4you were superior to the floors at the other stores.
That was when we talked areas, money and finalising a sale and I got a bit of a deal with my underlay, which where I come from, is the correct way to do business, and not pounce on everyone who walks through the door.
They even loaded the products into my vehicle without question, and I don’t just mean throw it in either. Consideration was paid to my car as much as my purchase.
So get yourself over to the BLACK COUNTRY, and visit any of the FLOORS4YOU stores. They clearly have a way of treating customers
OH and I got a discount voucher for my next floor and one for a friend, should they need a floor!
Cheers to the big bloke at Halesowen branch 👍

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.

We were mis-sold over £400 worth of items. Half of which were never delivered. When I asked for a refund we were told that this would not be possible.

The floor fitters were sub contracted. The fitters arrived, levelled the floor and never returned. The floor fitters took £200 in cash for skirting board work that was never started, let alone completed. The floor fitters told a different lie every day for 2 weeks for why they had not shown up. They also damaged walls and front door.

Eventually we were told that the floor fitters no long work for Floors4you and have gone off the radar with £200 pounds of our money.

Floors4you have continued to tell lie upon lie about when the floor would be fitted.

Meanwhile I am waiting for the floor to be fitted 3 months down the line.

When I ask to speak to head office to make a complaint there is no complaints process. Emails go unanswered.

Absolutely appalling customer service.

Reading the reviews, I am clearly not the only customer be treated in this manner. I have gone to trading standards. This company should not be operating. AVOID DEALING WITH THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS.

Avoid this company at all costs

Avoid this company at all costs.

Firstly, Floors 4 You don’t have a customer service number and only take responsibility for the sale of purchased goods i.e. don’t take any responsibility for product quality, delivery, fitting or after service.

Four out of twelve packs of vinyl flooring were delivered damaged which took two weeks to be replaced.

Floors 4 You continuously make promises that they do not keep and try to shift the blame onto customers wherever possible.

It is also worth noting that Floors 4 You will not cancel any orders which have been made no matter what the circumstance.

Would never deal with this company again

Would never deal with this company again, waited in for delivery, no one showed, rescheduled and waited in and again no one showed, not informed on either occasion. When I did receive the flooring I had 2 boxes over, when I tried to return I was told they do not offer refunds, only a credit note for 10% of the original price

Would never use again!

This review is regarding our horrendous ordeal with Floors 4 U, leaving myself and my partner feeling taken advantage of as first-time property buyers. We have been left with damaged products to which we were quoted one price and a week before our moving in date they demanded an additional £155.00 for no justified reason other than they had made a mistake by incorrectly calculating the cost and wanted more money to compensate their mistake. At this point my partner and I were due to move into our property, leaving us with no other option than to pay the extra £155.00 or we were threatened with no flooring for when we moved in.
Telling floors 4 U we were first time buyers and stressing the importance of our moving in date was honestly the worst decision of our lives, as we now feel as if we were backed into a corner with no option but to pay them the additional amount that they had demanded or we would not be able to move into our first home together when he had planned to do so.
Due to the time frame of 24 hours to pay the additional £155.00 that we was given I had no choice but to contact Floors 4 U for their online banking details and make an online transfer for the £155.00 meaning that we now also did not have a receipt, however the transaction is clearly state don my online statements.
It has been confirmed by trading standards (reference number 15014417) that Floors 4 U by law had to stick and honour the original quote that they gave myself and my partner which was £1,017.00 (paid by debit card 17/05) plus £250.00 fitting fee to carpet fitter on day of moving in, this was paid in cash to the store, again no receipt as we was told that the cash went straight to the carpet fitter as he was sub contracted to the company.
The back bone of the sale at the time was that Floors 4 U could beat our quote with SCS, however, given the fact that they made us come down with an additional £155.00 proved this to be untrue, we feel as if the store manager had planned this throughout.
In addition to this the flooring in the kitchen was damaged upon arrival along with the bar please see attached photos highlighting the dents which over time will cause issues and is far from the standard that we would expect to receive. Of course they are denying any wrong doing on their behalf however I strongly believe that when they took the doors off to lay the carpet underneath they rested them upon the damaged area as that was the first area that they had completed due to the size of the room. Which brings me onto my next point, we were promised an ‘all in one’ service however, this was not the case. We came back on our moving in date to find that all the doors were now too big to be put back on due to the flooring and then was advised that it was not their job to shorten the doors and replace them back on (again, knowing we were first time buyers they failed to mention anything about having to alter the door sizes before this moment, no doubt to ensure the sale.) Getting the doors altered cost myself and my partner an additional £40 and the stress of having to find a carpenter at a later date to do the job, this resulted in us not having any internal doors fitted for three weeks after our carpet had been laid.
Upon arrival on our moving in date 29th June, we were greeted by a very large amount of what can only be described as mess in the middle of our living room floor which ruined the exciting moment of our moving in experience with family present. We then had to clear the mess that was left and put our original moving in plans on hold. After speaking with the manager at Floors 4 U he explained that this is usually common practice, however he conveniently ‘forgot’ to tell us this at point of sale and admitted his errors after it was too late. We feel as if this information was held in case it would hinder the sale.
This whole ordeal has spanned over a month resulting in my partner taking days off work for the floor fitter to finish our flooring TWICE after the floor was originally fitted (even though it was promised at sale that it was an all in one service and flooring would be finished in a day) and did not show up with no courtesy call to inform us. It has caused my partner to not have many holidays left to take in work and the amount of time he has spent chasing this unprofessional company and phone calls he has made is beyond ridiculous as the store manager was never available, it was always incompetent staff that were constantly ‘passing the buck’ and promising that a manger would call back, this also never happened. Again, just to reiterate as we were first time buyers they knew this, took advantage and made sure that payments were made to them (and additional money) before endlessly letting us down and providing the worst service that we have ever experienced.

Disgusting service!!

Disgusting service!!! Will not ever use this company again!!! Quick enough to take your money but cannot deliver the paid goods! No explanation of delay in delivery. Advised to pick product up from alternative store!! Absolute joke! No professionalism whatso ever! Dave Watkins (dudley store manager) needs to go on a management course and learn the basic roles and responsibilities of a managerial role!!

Disgusting customer service

After parting with a lot of money at the Warrington branch I was told my order would be delivered within 3 days. 3 days later no goods and no phone call. After making a dozen calls I was given another deliver date 5 days later and yet again no order and no phone call. I ended up phoning the head office and dealing with the area manager. He did sort the problem out but I still had to wait another 4 days and another 3 phone calls.
This company is happy to take your money but customer service is disgusting. I hope this review stops others from having the same problem I did.

Floors 4 you at Camp Hill Stourbridge…

Floors 4 you at Camp Hill Stourbridge branch, ( just by the Stourbridge Glassworks ), know what they are talking about when it comes to floors. George stokes was brilliant and very helpful on the floor product we were looking at. Never purchased a Luxury Vinyl flooring before and he recommended one and could tell us the difference between the quality of the products and the costs. Didn't try to sell us the most expensive one either, just the one he would recommend for the quality and value for money. Very helpful. thanks George. Would go there again.

Horrendous - avoid at all costs!

Horrendous! I ordered flooring which should have arrived a week later. They took my £1064 quick enough and 6 weeks later I still have no flooring and they won't give me a refund. I can't get hold of customer services as "they don't take calls" and I have had to pay for my floor again from elsewhere. This is nothing but theft and if they don't call me back by the end of the day I will not only be speaking to trading standards and also the police as they have no right to hold onto my money...fuming! Be warned - go elsewhere!

Brought luvanto flooring through Floors…

Brought luvanto flooring through Floors 4 u Erdington Birmingham. This is vinyl flooring which could be fitted anywhere in home as per Floors 4 u
We have had flooring fitted throughout our home to find that when sun shines through the back of thr house the flooring lifts to the point where it is really soft and hot very hot so hot you cannot walk on it. The flooring has now swelled and looks a complete mess had flooring fitted March 2018. Got intouch with both company's luvanto who explain via phone this has happened before but we have to go through Floors for u as this is where we purchase the flooring from . We was advised by Floors for u to pay £100 for independant flooring inspector to look at floor as the sale team Erdington didnt know why the flooring had done this. Have now had inspector report back and its due to high levels of heat.
Floors for u Erdington have now said that you cannot fit luvanto flooring in direct sunlight. And has now left us with a swelled floor we was not advise of thid before point of sale during or after sale or when we approched them with the fault
if we would of know this we would not of put this throughout house. Let's face i you cannot have luvanto flooring unless you have property without direct sunlight this is ludicrous!
On the box it says can fit in conservatory's no you can't sunlight
i have payed over £2 000 pounds on this flooring supplied and fitted to be left with nothing from either company!! Both passing the buck say clear of all singing and all dancing luvanto flooring!!! Also stay clear of floors 4 u!!!
Rude! Staff at head office no 1 in management to call you back.
pass the buck take your money company
