Raphael did a great job! He is attentive companion, showed us all Maracana sightseeings! Speeking with me using my native language was nice surprise for me. Planing more tours with him.

Fantastic experience with Raphael! He took care of everything, we had nothing to worry about. We enjoyed a very nice time watching the game. He shared some nice insights about football with my teenager boys. He knows what he's talking about, and we felt super safe. He is a very nice person. I will definitely call him for another game in Maracana next time I visit Rio.

The communication off the platform was almost instant, clear and incredibly helpful. From purchasing the tickets to making the payment, I found myself irrationally worrying about whether the seller was legitimate and whether we had just thrown our money down the drain. However, I was relieved to receive a WhatsApp message confirming my purchase and advising me that ticket agent and guide Raphael would be in touch.

As promised, I then heard from Raphael, who was truly fantastic. He was an absolute pleasure to work with and genuinely goes above and beyond for his clients—something we hadn't experienced much of during our time in Brazil. Raphael certainly enhanced our experience and is an invaluable asset to the business. He took us all the way to the stadium and offered help of his own accord when we encountered challenges while entering (a note of caution: do not bring opposing football jerseys to the stadium, even if they are brand new and you have no intention of taking them out of your backpack while at or near the stadium).

I am truly grateful to Raphael; the customer experience he provided is second to none. It was a huge pleasure to deal with him.

We went to a Fluminense match at Maracana stadium with Raphael and the experience was amazing. As soon as we bought the tickets we got in touch with Raphael and he was very helpful with the coordinations for the day of the match. The day of the game we went with him to Marcana and the seats were great. It would have been difficult to go an return without him.

It was an amazing experience! It was me and wife’s first time attending a game. From the meeting point to the game everything was great. I really recommend them if you want to have a fun experience!

We were really disappointed with this experience. We booked 4 Boca Juniors tickets with Pablo with an experience, which meant that Pablo was going to meet us before the game, take us to local spots and promised a unique pre match experience. We got none of this.

We contacted Pablo the day before the game and he told us to meet him at 2pm in La Boca. We arrived at the meeting point as arranged, messaged to say we were here and he replied “I am asleep. Meet at 5pm”. No apology or explanation, and we now had 3 hours to kill by ourselves which was the time for the entire experience.

We then returned at 5pm to meet him, where he did not arrive until 5:30pm at which point he just handed over the tickets and said entrance is in the other corner. He did not care about our experience at all, no apology for his lateness and his attitude was terrible. He didn’t show any interest in helping us find the entrance (which was another 30 minute walk as on the opposite side of the stadium) and definitely didn’t help us get home (as promised on the advert on FootballHost).

This really ruined the experience as we were anxious all day that because he cancelled the first part, we were concerned that he wouldn’t show with the tickets at all. So what was meant to be a unique and exciting pregame build up was actually just sitting around frustrated and stressed that this host would turn up at all.

Football Host dealt with our post game complaints well and offered a refund for the money paid for the experience. However, this doesn’t really make up for the fact that the day was overshadowed by the attitude of this terrible host.

In conclusion: do not book tickets for Boca Juniors through Pablo.

Very helpful and useful for an englishman in Barcelona!

I used football host for a Velez Sarsfield match in Buenos Aires. Communication was good always got an answer and the ticket came through quickly and was easy to use on the match day.

We met up with Diego 4 hours before the game (Racing v Instituto Cordoba). He was doing a barbecue and we feasted on loads of meat and beer/wine/fernet with vegetarian pasta provided for my fiancée Sarah.
Then we were taken to the area of the stadium and had a few more drinks before Diego took us into the ground.
We had excellent seats and it was a great atmosphere.
At the end of the game we went back for a couple more drinks and then Diego made sure that transport (taxi) was provided for the way back to our hotel.
A fantastic day and we were treated brilliantly by Diego and his fellows friends and fans.
Thank you so much - would definitely recommend.

Fine expereince in Buenos Aires, amazing experience. A bit difficult if you are not familiar with WhatsApp, but fine tickets and OK communication (helps if you know spanish)
