Same bad experience as everyone else.
Almost the exact experiences as listed below. The final item of 4 finally showed up today from China. Ordered on 12/3. 2 items were supposedly shipped from California on 12/5. They showed up on 12/26, a day after the holiday. They use a very cheap shipping partner-the items sat in California for weeks before actually being shipped. I have emailed them many times-only one response 2 weeks ago, promising a new item with a FedEx number and a 10% discount. It never happened and they never replied again. All the 5 star reviews on their website must be fake. Terrible Experience.
UPDATE: They actually refunded me back 10% of my total purchase price, which ended up being $17. This happened weeks later. Still would avoid this company because of the lack of communication and serious delays in transit.

I did read that a few have recently received their bags in the last few days? Those FB comments could be a scam too! They don’t let you tag anyone in a reply on FB either!

I ordered a travel duffel bag on December 3rd, received the confirmation email and the spiel about being patient while waiting for the delivery. One month later....ZIP. The tracking number is useless and this company is a scam. I am going to contact my credit card company to see if they can help me get my money back.

Scam, hidden behind a legitimate looking website and FB page. Ordered December 4th and tracking number is still invalid. No response from any platform that I have emailed....... Super disappointed that this happens so often now...

Ordered item 12/3. Received email on 12/5 that order had been shipped, with a tracking number. Tracking number invalid. Today is 12/28, order still not received and tracking number remains invalid. Messages to FTM have been answered with "Thanks for your patience and understanding", at this point I have neither.

Same experience as everyone below. Ordered a bag for my father-in-law on 12/2. Received an email confirming that the bag shipped on 12/6. As of today, 12/27, the tracking information is still showing as "pending" and the bag is nowhere to be found. Total scam.

Deceiving advertising
Deceiving advertising. Website looks like an authentic USA company. When I recieved my orders weeks later, they arrived in packages from China with no invoice, return label, or anything about For The Minimalist.
FTM is a SCAM - Beware
Same experience as others posting complaints with Trust Pilot. Order duffel bag on November 23rsd. Item Shipped on November 26th. Tracking stay in Fremont, CA but never moved. Two days ago received email on shipping. Clicked link: Tracking # with Australia Post not found. First email to FTM no response. Second email to them wanting refund: Response from FTM: "Due to very high volume of orders we have, some orders might get delayed but we guarantee shipment of your item and working so hard so you can get it soon. I am asking for your utmost patience and understanding regarding this matter. As a complimentary gift, I can offer you 20% discount on your next order. Please use MINIMALIST20 on the coupon code portion upon check out to claim the discount."
Just went to credit card company to dispute charge. They think I would order another item from them with their 20% discount with the Great shipping and customer service. WRONG. It is a scam company.
It’s a foreign scam
I am experiencing the same as every other customer review below. Products never received, unable to track shipment, customer service is non existent. Scam company, don’t even bother.

This is not a legitimate company. I will be reporting them to FB too for allowing a scam company to advertise on their platform. Ordered in November, still haven't received my order. When I tried to contact them, I got the same runaround as other reviewers below. They hold themselves out as being a US company and having a US facility but that's clearly not true (check out the Glassdoor reviews, all of their employees are in India). And the address they give for returns (which I can't post here but is a residential address in Pennsylvania)... is a house! SCAM SCAM SCAM
Don’t waste your time! Poor quality and no customer service…
Indeed, all the reviews below are correct. I ordered two items on November 29. One just arrived yesterday and it was fairly poor quality. The other claims that the shipping information was sent on December 14 to Fedex but has never been updated. When I began to question it yesterday, they told me to just be patient. My patience is through. I have disputed it with my credit card for a partial refund. Clearly a scam company.

Ditto to ALL the 1 star reviews. Ordered my product mid-November...still haven't received it and keep getting run around excuses. Love that their return policy says 30 days from the day you order it....and if you haven't received it within 30 days (red flag!!) then you have 24 hours from when you are notified it has been delivered. What a SCAM. They basically stole my $60+. Each week I try to point out their tracking log hasn't changed in another week. Now they've stopped even acknowledging my weekly e-mails.

I ordered 5 items on 11-27-19. It is now 12-15-19 and the order is INCOMPLETE. The 20 days to ship’ within the US is obscene. I’ll dispute the balance charged to my credit card.
