AdBlock $42.40 unathorized charge via Paddle.net
AdBlock appears to use Paddle.com to process payments for their paid subscriptions. I made the mistake of donating $10 through Paypal and then got charged $42.40 for a year's paid subscription I did not ask for. Paddle debited my account via Paypal and then after I disputed the charge, sent me an email saying the subscription I did not ask for was canceled.

AdBlock Should Be Blocked!
I thought this was a straight organisation until I discovered a couple of days ago that they had invented a subscription I hadn't requested. I had to deal with a bot. Have nothing to do with AdBlock.

Adblock use scam methods
Adblock use scam methods. I been totaly over charged and there's no way to get in contact with Adblock. I have terminated my credit card to put an end to this. I never saw any invoice details and I do not think it is possible to get any. Stay away from Adblock. My hunch is that Adblock operate in criminal gey zone.

Contacting to cancel was a nightmare
Somehow, I ended up with four charges for Ad Block on the same day. It took hours using my credit card service contacting my bank to get it straightened out. It’s still not straightened out after hours of trying. Trying to find a way to get through to them was a nightmare. It was really a no-brainer who needs for ad blocks for one computer? It was clearly an obviously a mistake. They were not at all helpful.

What a piece of shit software. This is like having an adblocker without having an adblocker. If you want to download an adblocker and still see ads every now and then, this crap is for you.

ADBLOCK-MAKE SURE YOU'VE GOT THE RIGHT ADBLOCK.
I am really glad to report that ALL the payments taken have now been refunded!
However, the necessary steps I had to take were unbelievably intricate and beset by offers and a refund system almost impossible to follow. It took hours but obviously proved well worth every second. Notwithstanding, please be careful when selecting Adblock apps.

Took out a cheap offer subscription & quickly realised I had had £186.99 removed from my current account for several add ons. Not wanting to spend so much I attempted over 3 days to cancel all the subscriptions thinking I had cancelled everything I waited for the promised E mail to acknowledge my hoped for cancellations. NO E MAILS ARRIVED.
Eventually made phone contact with customer service & explained I wanted to cancel everything,spent 10 minutes fending off offers to reduce cost etc etc, again the promised acknowledgement by E mail never arrived. Am waiting to see if my money is returned before I take up dispute action through my bank.
Adblock needs to simplify their app to make it more friendly,send promised E mails in a reasonable time frame & stop giving the appearance of a scam

Wow. Horrible website. Went though process. Realized it absolutely would not work for me. Went to cancel. Impossible. Chat box. Supposedly person but stilll responded to bit. Tried calling number given. Impossible. Now I have to go thru fraud with Amex.

This company employs morally unethical…
This company employs morally unethical methods to deliberately trick you into paying an annual subscription. Beware entering into their free trial where you have the option to pay a one off donation! I did that, stupidly not realising that by doing that I was giving them my bank card details. The following month my card was debited £12 which I did not notice until a year later when a second £12 was taken. It seems I had unknowingly entered into an annual subscription, although I have no recollection or record of this. Apparently this sort of thing is quite common, although morally unethical, it is not illegal. I have now cancelled the subscription and urge you...to be warned.
And no...I am not confusing AdBlock with Total Adblock....I am referring to Adblock!!!!

Great Customer service
I've used Ad block for 5 years now. I started paying for its service 3 years ago. This year I inadvertently paid twice for the service. Once I brought this to their customer support teams notice, they refunded my additional payment within 1 day. Money back in my account within 2 days.

I can't get the app canceled, they keep billing me and wiull not answer emails
I cannot cancel the app because it keeps sending me on a wild goose chase. It's my opinion they do this intentionally so you can't cancel. I have sent emails but I just get a pre set form back. They want it to be as hard as possible to cancel so they can bill you again. Before you sign up try to find out how to cancel payments first, You will save money that way.

Adblocker is close to a scam
Adblock is as close to a scam as you can get. They advertise one payment of £1.98.
You make that payment only to learn every subsequent payment will be lots more. Then to cancel is a nightmare ~ a real nightmare and no doubt made so by Adblocker in order to be tricky to cancel. Steer clear of Adblocker they are very very close to the line.
