I was in the market for a new set of ladders to replace our old household ones. I opted for a more robust and trade quality due to some jobs I needed to get done and Globe ladders were able to point me in the right direction for my needs.

Great service, great ladder l would highly recommend.

Very nice lady at the end of the phone, who couldn't have been more helpful, called their supplier to check the item I wanted, a Little Giant combi stepladder was available and got straight back to me. Ordered over the phone and ladder had next day delivery. Unfortunately on unboxing, the item was badly marked and had a step that looked like a grinder or rasp had been over the edge leaving sharp metal edges. Again Globe Ladders were great, after sending pictures of the issues, they arranged for the ladders to be collected, back to the supplier who wanted to inspect. Here the problems began, (down to the supplier not Globe) Having heard nothing after a few days I called Globe, and the lady was surprised I had not been sent a replacement, however again she sorted it out, getting back to me to say a replacement was going to be with me the next day. On receipt of this "replacement" it was obvious the same set of ladders had been returned to me. (The exact same damage and marks, so unique they couldn't have been replicated). Again 9am the next day I called Globe, sent photos of the damage complete with the date stamp from my phone to prove the same ladder had been returned. The lady said she would contact the supplier and get back to me when she had a resolution. Having heard nothing by 3pm I called and was told the supplier wasn't getting answers to her, claiming they were waiting for people to be in their office or to do this and that, but she gave me their number and a name of the representative she was dealing with, who they has promised would contact me. I called and couldn't get past the receptionist initially, but then a short while later did receive a call back. The lady their was dismissive, rude and despite my pictures was insisting I had a replacement ladder and the original one was with them in quarantine and their warehouse were saying it had been inspected and wasn't that bad and the marks would rub off. After 15-20 minutes of discussion pointing out the pictures of unique shaped scratches and marks and damage that could not be replicated, they refused to say what was going to be done other than they needed to speak to Globe and they would arrange for the ladder to be picked up. The next morning I spoke to Globe and asked for a refund after explaining the experience with the supplier (who sadly seem to be the sole importers for the UK). The lady was most apologetic and organised a refund that morning, getting back to me to confirm it had been done. Overall, would recommend Globe, the lady I spoke to was an asset to the company, and gave customer service as it should be, sadly badly let down by this supplier.

If you are going to buy a ladder - buy a wooden ladder. More stable for the larger person and the ladder will last a lifetime.

It was simple and speedy to identify the ladder I required by the clear description and image on the website. It seemed competitively priced.
It was an advantage that carriage was not charged and this influenced my decision to buy.
As promised, Globe Ladders did call to double-check the delivery details and to advise when the ladder would be delivered and how, it was required at a different address to my 'payment address'. It duly arrived at the correct address as anticipated.
The ladder was well wrapped for transit.
The product wholly meets my expectations, is aesthetically pleasing to the eye, it is pleasant to handle, and feels safe to use. It fits my purpose exactly.
Subsequently I received a copy -invoice marked PAID to my 'payment address' to complete the transaction.
A totally pleasant experience from beginning to end.

Purchased loft ladders when renovating house. Really pleased. Side rails didn't fit due to design of roof. But still pleased. Robust and ready to use. I certainly would recommend these to other. Good buy a threat price.

My old steps had given tremendous service, having been used and abused on numerous building projects and repaired many times.
So, where to get a replacement? I have had a set of extending ladders from Globe some years ago and they have given sterling service. The Globe ladder site was easy to use and made selection very easy, purchase quickly followed and then I was contacted about delivery, a date was fixed and the new steps delivered. They are excellent and extremely stable, no more wobbles when using them!
