DO NOT BUY FROM THIS WEBSITE
I purchase 2 items from this online website after 3 weeks I try to contact them over the phone to see where is my items no luck the phone number is not for customers is just to inform you that you have to contact them via email which I did as well... no answer back.
I open a dispute with my bank inform them that I didn't received my items... after 1 week one I did received.
5 weeks later bank refund me for the second item.
Please don't buy from them to much hassle for nothing.
Steer clear
Had previously used Gooseberry Shop online before with no problems (best shampoo prices but slow delivery) but most recent order never arrived and only automated responses from Gooseberry on email or phone. Eventually opened a dispute via my credit card company who refunded me after their investigation. Reviews on their website curated by feefo look good…until you realise that the most recent review is from 9 months ago. I advise you to steer clear.
DON'T USE GOOSEBERRY SHOP - SCAMMERS
I ordered shampoo from gooseberryshop they duly gave me an order number and said I could track it. The goods never arrived & I couldn't track it. When I tried to contact customer services I got an email saying they would look into it and not to email again as I would be put to the back of the queue. When I tried to phone it was an answering machine. This company takes your money, your credit card details and doesn't deliver the goods so BEWARE.
Fortunately my credit card company are looking into it as a Fraud case. They're obviously scammers.
WARNING do not shop online with Gooseberry as no products are sent out but they take your money!!
I have had a similar situation with Gooseberry shop as the reviewer below Tilley.
I placed my order months ago and have had no products sent to me, but they were quick to take my money.
I have left voicemails as just a answer phone and sent numerous emails with no response. I even called the Gooseberry Hair Salon and they emailed them for me to.
All I had was a tracking number come through from them for Hermes which has said we are expecting your parcel for about a month now.
This tracking number is as Tilley the reviewer below stated a Shipstation (An app that sellers use to raise a number with Hermes) This is completely meaningless until Hermes are actually given the parcel - so if the tracking continues to say "We're expecting it" - this means the seller has NOT shipped anything.
I want to stop anyone else from buying anything from them and having the same problem. I have reported them and also been in contact with my bank who are giving me my money back and chasing them up regarding this.
When I looked on companies house it states Active proposal to strike off and their accounts to be filled are very overdue.
I wish I had ordered the goods from All Beauty now but as Gooseberry were £15 cheaper I took the chance. Never again will I make the same mistake that’s for sure.

Like others have detailed, I ordered £150+ goods from them. As described, I too went through the same process - no communication then when asked what was happening got a Hermes tracking number.

After this, I contacted them by phone, email, instagram and messenger - 1 nonsensical apology and claim to be raising a new order and no other communication/ action.
This is a stalling pattern.
My bank dealt with this after I contacted the disputed transactions team. If the seller has failed to send the goods and you have made all reasonable efforts to resolve, they will take this up to refund the transaction.
I checked companies house for the company registration and note that it states that there is an "Active proposal to strike off" the company "Gooseberry shop limited".
Be warned.

If I could leave zero stars I would. I ordered over a month ago. No updates on my order. No tracking. They don’t reply to emails. You can phone them but only leave a message. I left a message a week or so go and I have had no reply. I’ve ordered from this company in the past with no problems. Judging by the other reviews something has gone seriously wrong with this company. We’ve all basically being robbed.

Awful!! I placed an order almost 3 months ago and still has not arrived. They do not answer the phone and do not respond to emails either. Will never use them again. I have now read similar reviews elsewhere. If only I had know!! Posting this to make you all aware.
SCAM! Don’t give them your money
After two weeks of paying I heard nothing, no response to email or voicemail. Then I went to the reviews, I always check that this time I got caught out. I’ve spoken to my credit card company who are now revoking the money from them and refunding me. Don’t use them

Ordered 2 products from this company and after a few days of no update on delivery contacted them. Was offered a refund which I accepted but still awaiting any communication on refund. Will now be contacting my bank to raise the issue about fraud. Do not buy from this company.
Really disappointed
Really disappointed, frustrated and upset. It took several messages to get the parcel delivered. The Hermes courier then left the parcel on the porch of a busy high street even though this was not registered as the safe place. Hermes will not refund me and Gooseberry Shop will not answer their phone or respond to seven emails I have sent them. So I have paid £50.00 and have no product and no one will help me.

Wish I had read these reviews before.. I have never fallen for anything like this before but this company is a complete scam. Waited almost 4 weeks for products (before giving up and contacting amex fraud service) and although I received a few responses to my many emails saying the products would be sent ASAP nothing was ever sent. I even received tracking information which never updated from "we are expecting it". Calls to the salon were unhelpful and told to call back when someone else was in.. Horrible experience, don't know how they are allowed to exist.

Ok experience overall
I must say I got very concerned when I read the reviews on here after ordering some hair products from this company.
I placed my order on the 19th of Feb (Friday), so I did not expect to get any updates until Monday. However, the following week I sent an email to the customer service to get an update on my order and to tell them that, unless it was dispatched immediately (max dispatch time on their website is 48 hours), I wanted a refund. I did not get a reply to my email, however I received a shipment confirmation on Monday 1st of March.
Once again I was concerned I was never going to get my products, considering that the reviews mentioned Hermes never getting the parcels for delivery despite the shipment confirmation email from the company. Much to my surprise Hermes got the parcel on the same day (I checked using the tracking number) and the products were delivered today (1 week late). I am pleased with the products and they are as described.
The lack of communication about the status of orders should definitely be addressed. If there is a delay in shipments due to Covid, this should be clearly stated on the website or in the order confirmation email, so that customers don’t get worried they just lost their money.
I can’t say my experience with this company was horrible as I got my products in the end and only with a ‘reasonable’ delay. However, the lack of communication and the rest of the reviews don’t exactly fill me with confidence when it comes to placing future orders.

They have since contacted me claiming this is due to Covid.
