DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY.
They are awful, placed an order on 8th Jan 2021 still have not received it and no explanation as to why and no contact from them for updates.
Have had to contact them several times only to be fobbed off with the same answer that they're sending the order that day, they have told me twice they are sending my order and yet still nothing!
Now I wait for a refund let's see what happens!

I ordered shampoo from Gooseberry in December, as my regular supplier was out of stock. Reasonable price, £1 delivery. That was the end of my positive experience.
Gooseberry say 2-4 day delivery on their website; no delivery or even an email update after 7 days. My email to customer service did get a response within 24 hours - an apology that they were experiencing some delays, which I should have been told about, and my product should be with me within a week. Nothing after 8 days, so I requested a refund. This was acknowledged within 24 hours, and I was told that the refund might take up to 10 business day. I had to chase the refund on business day 11. Within an hour, I’d had a dispatch notification! I’d had to purchase shampoo from another source a week before, so I didn’t really need it by that point, and it does seem convenient that it was dispatched just after I chased the refund. I would have requested a return and refund, but I couldn’t face having to deal with Gooseberry any longer.
I’ve tried the shampoo and I do think the product is genuine.
Gooseberry packaging left a lot to be desired. A 1L bottle of shampoo was shipped in a bubble wrap envelope! The envelope was ripped in several places, due to weight and movement.
This company appears to be operating in chaos. I won’t be using them again.

No response from their costumer service!

I used they company in 2019, so though it was a good company, but no, its not!

In November 2020 I ordered some items and I have not received the items jet. A few days after I made the order, they got the payment!
In December I contacted them for the first time, and they responded and said they will send the items very soon. Now they dont respond on phone or email and I have not seen my items or my money!

Stay away from this scam website.

Scam company - do not use. Goods are never shipped. When you chase up, they initially apologise and tell you the goods will be with you within the next few days and then when they don’t arrive and you ask for a refund they go quiet and ignore your emails.

Gooseberry took my payment for an order for a Christmas present. Initially, it all seemed legitimate - they sent a tracking number, but then the delivery never arrived. I chased it up countless times, and they said I had to wait 28 days for it to be considered lost. On the 29th day, I contacted them, they apologised, and said they'd send a replacement. I'm still waiting. I contacted my bank to report the fraudulent transaction. They have paid me back. I have also reported them to trading standards.

I used to order from this website without problems but my last order - over a year ago now! - never arrived. I contacted customer services about 8 times over several months and always received a prompt and apologetic response but those responses were always lies, promising first that the order was being shipped that week and later on that my refund was being processed. I've now lost my money. AVOID.

Do not but from this company unless you want to waste your money and time chasing orders and money refunds!!!!

This company is a fraud. I ordered 2 items in October and they told me it has been shipped but they did not shipped or refunded my money. Please take legal action against this company.

As with many many other recent reviews - my strong advice is to avoid this company. Though they respond to messages and make promises, they just don't deliver. The only option left for me after months of waiting for my order which never arrived (and then a refund which was never processed) was to claim back via my credit card.

Avoid buying from this company. Item never delivered. Had to reclaim my money via credit card services.

Same as other`s, order one month a go with dreams sold via email, we had some issues with the product they said...but they are still running sales on they're website via same product! beware folks it is a SCAM now! It maybe used to WORK in the past but not anymore don`t waste time and money with them

Placed an order back in March and still waiting for it .. despite me having to email me them weekly and them continually telling me I’ll receive it shortly. TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE 😡

Please do not buy from them. It will take forever for them to send anything that you buy. I gave up on my order and requested a refund which I ended up having to fight for.

If I could give this website zero stars I would. Like some others who've left reviews I had ordered from them in the past without any issues, but I did not receive my last order and despite repeatedly contacting them to chase this up and assurances that I would receive a refund I never received one. Most disappointing.

I ordered 1 item from here. I previously have shopped with them before and it was completely fine (after checking my emails it was in 2015 tho) but this time it was 2 weeks later and my product still hadn't arrived. I then came across all the bad reviews and contacted them via email and left a voicemail. They replied by email saying they hadn't sent it still and would but I requested a refund. I emailed everyday back and fourth and the emails from them were actually nice and helpful, but I was very persistent about getting a refund and asking to be notified once it had been processed. I have now been refunded, so success, but massively annoying and a waste of time and still had to then order from elsewhere.

I am absolutely sickened to read the reviews for Gooseberry and yes they've done it to me too.

I ordered shampoo & conditioner at a cost of £150.98 three weeks ago but haven't received my order.

Every week they claim I will receive it but every week I don't and they never email to explain why.

I feel sick wondering how long it will take to get a refund.

Why on earth are these companies allowed to trade?

Absolutely disgusting company if that’s what they are! Gave them another try with an order. Waited months again & still never arrived (pre- COVID Uk) Numerous unanswered emails & then continual lies. NEVER again

Do not order from this company. Don’t send products until you have claimed from credit card company and even then fail to send all of the items. Complete scam

Avoid at all costs! Placed an order on the 7.6.20. Never received my order. Contact gooseberry on numerous occasions asking for a refund. Keeping getting told I will receive my refund in the next 3-10 working days. Still not received it! SCAM!!!

This store really isn't worth 1 star! Amongst other shoppers, I am yet to receive my order or a refund, I ordered in May, we're now in July. Avoid with all costs!
