We’ve only begun our journey with booking. However, Joe has been amazing. We provided info on our interests and abilities and he set us up with what looks like an amazing trip. He also ensured our booking didn’t get forgotten on our end with regular, helpful check-ins. My ADHD brain really appreciated the assist!

This is our first time working with Gorailtravel and Joe to create our itinerary for Switzerland this fall/winter. We chose Gorailtravel as our provider after comparing their reviews to similar providers and couldn't be happier. Our dates were flexible so we made multiple adjustments to the original itinerary and Joe was a great advisor to us on timing, hotel choices etc and got the new itineraries to us quickly. Now that we are confirmed we can't wait for our trip to begin with the continued support from Joe!

We have been looking at rail trips in Scotland and planning for next year. Sean was able to help us narrow exactly what it is that we want, and to recommend events and places of which we might never had thought.. He was very professional, and fun to deal with. We were very impressed, and would recommend him to anyone looking for travel advice.

What I first contacted GoRail, they responded right away. In fact, they responded so quickly I wasn't quite ready to discuss the trip with them. They followed up daily, and when I finally had the details I wanted for the trip, I worked with Joe. Joe was great! Professional, attentive, and very patient with our myriad of questions and itinerary changes. He was very reassuring regarding any unforeseen travel glitches that we might have and explained clearly the refund and rebooking policies. Excellent customer service even with the time zone difference. Also, when he was out of the office, his colleague Adam followed up to make sure plans were moving forward smoothly. We haven't taken the trip yet, but if the smoothness and professionalism of the travel planning is any indication, the trip should be fabulous.

Have been working with Adam and he has made himself available based on my schedule and has been very helpful! We have had to make some changes and everything has been seemless!

Sean just finished finalizing our itinerary for our 50th Wedding Anniversary trip to Ireland. We are thrilled. My husband is hard to impress and even he was wowed with the video and itinerary Sean put together in minimum time. Peter was amazing. From day 1 of his contact with us thru the day we finalized and booked our travel, Peter patiently and expertly listened, worked with us, and made changes and scheduling adjustments to make the trip easy for us (four retired elderly folks traveling). He understood our limits and setup excursions and guided tours that would match our abilities.

We are excited about the trip and am sure Peter and GoRail Travels will be part of some of our future vacations.

We booked our Scottish holiday with Tristan, what I really liked was that he got us an itinerary very quickly and then followed up with video calls. We dealt with Sean. He was amazing to putting our trip together. We had 2 video calls with him and multiple texts.
He made several changes after each call. Talking to him was like talking to a friend. Lots of storytelling. I would highly recommend him. He made the booking process so easy.

Peter was very attentive and productive with helping us plan our GO rail travel trip to Scotland in September 2026. He modified the itinerary to make sure we would see all the areas we were interested in and worked with us on making changes as requested promptly. He always called on time to discuss the rail trip with informative and detailed emails as a follow-up. He included a great video describing the entire itinerary with a personal commentary and was able to answer all our questions. We are really looking forward to our rail trip to Scotland this Fall.
