Super helpful and efficient
Happy Rentals sent clear and concise information. The apartment was as advertised, had everything we needed for our stay. It was close enough to centre of village to reach restaurants in 5mins and lift in 10 at most, but also far enough away from any noise in the centre. Sauze is a lovely village, with enough going on to keep you busy every night, but not too crazy that you can’t share experience with family. We felt safe, all locals very friendly. Our host replied to messages almost immediately and was so helpful. I’ll use this company again for sure!

Lovely ski week in Chamonix Valley.
My family stayed in a condominium apartment in the Chamonix Valley in March 2025. The apartment was exactly as depicted online at Expedia. Happy Rentals has several offices in the valley, including one just a five minute walk from our apartment. It was convenient on two occasions to visit the office for inquiries.

Perfect Spot in Sauze D’Oulx!
We had a fantastic stay here! The location is spot on—just a short walk to the chair lifts, which made getting on the slopes super easy. Plus, there are loads of great restaurants and bars nearby, so we never had to go far for a good meal or après-ski drink.
The apartment was really well-equipped with everything we needed, clean, cozy, and a great place to relax after a day in the mountains. The hosts were awesome—really friendly, helpful, and made sure we had everything we needed. Shout out to Ilona!
Would 100% stay here again—highly recommend!

Great stay in Sauze d'Oulx, Italy
We stayed in Italy/Sauze d'Oulx and had a pleasant stay! The private appartment was small but since we were skiing all day and ate dinner at the local restaurants, we mostly needed it for sleeping. Location was great: close to center but still away from all the after-ski noise. We were actually the only ones in the whole building so it was really quiet! The village is awesome and beautiful! We had some issues with warming but the local office helped us immediately and everything went smoothly. The double bed is a sofa bed but it was surprisingly good and we slept well. The floors are quite cold in the winter, some extra shoes or crocs would've been useful. Also a door mat for dirty shoes inside the appartment could be good to protect the floors. Eco tip: recycling was made very easy in the village. The appartment has no different bins for different type of waste but we did our best!

Appartement simple but great
Appartement was simple but great. Good location, close to city center and a dedicated car park place. Thanks to Happy Rentals, clear instructions, easy check in and out and keys facilities. The only remark is that payment was in Switzerland so extra fees to consider !

Do not stay in this apartment unless you are partial to an all night Rave or are nocturnal!
We are not exaggerating sitting and trying to sleep in the apartment is completely impossible . Company reviews misleading and i’m not exaggerating when describing the noise aggravation. Company states this is a place for families or a couple to relax. This is completely untrue and all parties dealing with the rental accommodation are completely unhelpful once you arrive and they have your money.. watch out for the company misrepresentation as they remove negative feedback giving you a false sense of security. Mark and Jennifer who represent this listing are completely unhelpful and just advised us to spend our holiday contacting the police to solve their problems.
Apartment has old wooden windows with no sound insulation and pictures are misleading as it could definitely do with new carpet and is in need of some attention!
DO NOT RENT THIS APARTMENT OR DEAL WITH THESE PEOPLE.

We stayed at La Stella Alpina Sestriere
We stayed at La Stella Alpina in Sestriere, great communication before and easy key collection. We also had a issues with cleaners still in the apartment on arrival. My problem was the apartment itself, I appreciate it's someone home but there is no storage space for 5 people, one wardrobe had the owners stuff in there, coffee table full of clutter, not even space for cup, why have magazines from 2016 ! Table lamps also full of clutter. We also had issues with half the plug sockets not working and some lighting not working. With only a 3 seater sofa, after a day's skiing not the best for 3 adults and 2 teenagers was too cramped but that was our fault. Someone from happy rentals needs to contact the owners to remove their personal effects and clutter before renting this apartment, its not as it shows on the photos. The electrics need to be checked too as the main fuse box popped which could be related to the sockets and lights . The comfy beds and permanent running hot water were a positive

Appartamento Pian dei Larici, Sauze D'Oulx, Italy.
We stayed at the Appartamento Pian dei Larici, Sauze D'Oulx, Italy.
Contacted by the host a day before, who was superb and helpful, and received the arrival instructions via email then too, which were clear and precise.
We arrived 30 mins before we were supposed to (1600 check in), due to the transfer, found the apartment, but it hadn't been cleaned, i contacted the host who said they were running late due to a high number of apartments being cleaned, we left at 1615 for food and returned about 1900 and it was cleaned.
The apartment itself was nice, had everything we needed. Unfortunately there was a horrendous smell in the kitchen, we initially assumed the bin, so left that outside, but the smell continued, took us 3 days to realise it was the radiator vase, no idea what was in it (old food maybe), so left that outside, and the smell was gone from the kitchen.
The electrics.... the light fitting in the living room had wires pocking out of it, the socket next to the TV was hanging out (again, bare wires), the socket in the living room, when you pulled the plug out, the whole socket would come out of the wall.
Bur other than the stated issues, the apartment was ok.
