Heart heating energy & associated…
Heart heating energy & associated renewables technologies Ltd fitted an A rated ROC boiler, it was ok for first year. they serviced it and after that I received a letter to say they had ceased training, ROC spares would continue to be made available and supplied FOC to the business that installed the boiler for 6 years. They suggested registering with British Gas which was going to cost us £23 a month, bearing in mind the finance that I taken out for it was £24 a month. Then a letter came informing me the parts for the boiler were no longer available.
The boiler was due for service and the thermostat malfunctioned so I asked a cert. technician to repair it because we needed the timer working and he said he had never seen one of these boilers before and he couldn`t service it.
I got a second opinion and was told the same. The boiler stopped working and had no choice but to get another boiler fitted at a cost of £1,960
I tried to get someone to take responsibility for this but was told the because I had not had it serviced within the timeframe that any warranty would not be honoured. I also tried to explain I was trying to sort this out from my hospital bed after falling off a horse and breaking my neck. So a cheap boiler fitted and not worth the money paid for it that then didn`t work and a company moving on to continue under another name. Scammers everywhere wherever you turn.
I lost my money
I lost my money. I paid full amount..my boiler not working..they are not coming. it's cheating
If anyone is wondering what happened to…
If anyone is wondering what happened to this company the director resigned, sent the company into liquidation and 4 days later immediately opened up a company called "Project Heating Solutions" also in Doncaster
I am amazed how the RHI and MCS scheme allow people like this to continue to trade
All they will do is sell you a system, whether it work or not (they don't care) then twiddle whatever funds they get out of you, loans commision and each grant, liquidate the company and repeat the process leaving you in the lurch
Stay well clear, feel free to voice your opinion for their new company too
Had a heat pump fitted by heart ....
Had a heat pump fitted by heart last October, the service was ok, quiet alotiftrouble to start with and wired up the boiler incorrectly so I couldn’t get any hot water. They came back to mend it. Other than that it appears to work fine, sometimes a little noisy. Was very shocked but not supersede they have finished running the company. Need someone else titans over now else we won’t get the payments. Will call the number the last person kindly left
Hi Keith (below)
Hi Keith (below)
I have been in touch with a company called Egensys today and found Matthew is be very helpful and the company is approved by Mitsubishi (if your pump is from them) so your manufacturers warranty will continue if you use them for annual service etc.
He is away on holiday for the next week but give him a call on 07791 898925 and have a chat.
Has anybody who's had an air source…
Has anybody who's had an air source heat pump installed by heart just recently got any information on who too turn to for help with finishing the intallation off mine has started leaking help appreciated?
Ive heard that the company has shut up…
Ive heard that the company has shut up shop! Checking my insurance to see if i am covered under HIES as i have problems with my system so getting a local installer recommended to me to take a look. J R L
We have had the air source heat system…
We have had the air source heat system fitted by Heart heating. My advice is stay well clear of the company. 4days of boxes and rubbish outside my front door. Rubble all over after demolishion of a room in order that they could fit the pump. A new roof needed on outside building which Is pathetic. On day of installation air pump arrived damaged, even engineers wouldn't accept it. 4 hours later a second unit arrived also damaged (both were significantly damaged). By this time the 13 radiators had been fixed in and i had to accept the damaged pump after getting written confirmation they would replace it in March. In March they sent an email saying they couldn't do a new one until middle of April. Guess what... now we can't get in touch with them.
Please do not buy anything from these cowboys .
It's now looking as they've gone bust and we are still waiting for a skip to take the rubbish and rubble away , a £400 pound bonus payment and a new pump.
You can imagine how angry we feel about it. Also there was no mention that the 13 radiators would be smaller than our original and now every room has to be redecorated.
Wish the service was as good as the system.
System is fantastic now that it is finished, and we are finally leak free.
The service from Heart is far from perfect, especially being threatened by them when I held payment back pending the completion of the istallation.
Two months after installation, and still waiting for the paperwork so that I can claim the RHI payments.

Craig and the A Team
Craig a Barnsley lad with broad accent turned up prompt on the Thursday morning bright and early with his accomplice Steve very polite and explained the procedure. Then another 4 guys turned up the Electrical team it was brilliant to see and they all had a part to play they got down to it and my wife provided the tea.
Steve moved swiftly around my house changing the radiators over had one issue which he handled with minimum of fuss
Craig was busy working as fast as he could and the rain closed in there was drilling and co ordinated chats between the teams on going and they worked very well together alas the scaffolding arrived and the main Air Source Heat Pump was to be placed on the side of my house there were 7 in total lifting the Pump into place one swift movement great work boys.
I asked frequent questions as they were going and everyone answered my curiosity nothing was too much trouble and they were all very informative and approachable.
I had to leave for work and Karen was left with the task of getting the final information on how to operate the system which was very simple to do as she introduced me to our new Central Heating System when I got in from work.
The system is working very easy to use hardly any noise from the system, also a nice surprise is the cost very cost effective to run on electric .40kw which I think is very reasonable and easily works out cheaper than Gas.
Good luck with the future a very satisfied customer.

Don't buy an ASHP.
Fist of all, one star means I am not happy with most or all of the installation not what you say it means. We had an ASHP fitted in June 2017. The team who fitted it seemed to me to know what they were about and did a fair job in my eyes. My dissatisfaction is mostly with the efficiency of the thing itself. The salesman said our gas bill would go down considerably (no hot water or heating use) but the electricity use would increase "slightly", wrong, our electricity use has increased considerably, in fact by more than the gas saving, so costs more to run not less, so much so that Scottish Power have increased our direct debit payment by £3 a week. Contrary to what we were told our fuel bills are now higher so no saving by the claimed "efficient" system then.
The hot water seems to work fine but the heating is in my eyes hopeless, it has no guts and does not heat our house to a reasonable standard, even though after we had a larger hallway radiator installed (another £70) it made no difference. Last winter it took all day to warm our lounge, and I mean all day, 10.00 pm to get to 22c, hopeless. After a visit from Russ (manager I think) I have learned a new phrase, it's "I beg to differ". It appears I have to have my home at a temperature decreed by some boffin somewhere, hey ho. I could rant on all day but I won't, instead I will say this, ASHP, no, returning to a gas boiler, yes. I even asked for a quote to put a gas boiler in but am still awaiting a reply from HEART.
In conclusion may I say that after spending £13,570 we now have a cold house that costs more to run and a really ugly garden ornament.
On the day of installation the team…
On the day of installation the team were very early and soon got cracking they soon got everything done and it was the same when they did the service and the after service is excellent l had a radiator problem and it was soon resolved l would recommend them to anyone they do an outstanding job
