The experience ended up giving me whatever I expected. The only thing that kept the review from being 5 stars is that the initial web meeting with the doctor was missed and had to be rescheduled.

One of the best working companies in the USA

Rearly happening to meet such a company that knows whats mean service and customer support. I'm with them about 4 years and still can’t believe that they are real. Such an organized and educated company I never saw in USA. I’m surprised reading all those negative reviews, it seemed they are talking about different companies, like phone service lol The pharmacy mistake, late and something can happen, but its not their own pharmacy, they just collaborate with pharmacy. Tho, the pharmacy that I receive my med. is working perfectly too. They do everything to make your life easy and stress free. Thank you to all of you, for your work, for everything that you do for human.

Even if you don’t have insurance. They got you

Even if you don’t have insurance, they will give to you the prep, it’s marvelous because I don’t have any insurance and I have been receiving it for 4 months now, also the doxy prep if you want it. The process was really simple and fast, I had not have side effects at all. I Highly recommend mistr.

Do not waste your time!!!

I started with Mr. back in December 2024. I only did six months of medication. I was getting a generic Truvada. I did my last test and my creatinine was elevated and a doctor told me that he was switching me over to Descovy. it said that the prescription was sent to the pharmacy. I’ve been trying to contact the pharmacy and the doctor because I have not received my medication. They told me to sign the forms and I did what they asked to do and nobody responds. I reached out to customer service twice, and they said the pharmacy would contact me and I have heard nothing so now I’m waiting to hear back from Freddie. which is another online prep service that’s available. I’m hoping the customer service is much better with this company. I just use my kit and sent it back, but I would not recommend you to go with this company. I don’t know what’s going on but they need to get it together. We need to talk to somebody you have nobody to go to. I’m hoping Freddie more responsive they say they are. But we will see, but don’t waste your time with this company.

The downfall of MISTR

I've been a member with Mistr for over 4 years now. Things started out great. Now, they are a joke. Met with the doctor he sent my prescription in. Over a week later no prescription has been received by anyone! I called my pharmacy to see if they could request it and they said sure. After a few days they came back and said mistr hasn't replied. So here I am waiting for "customer service" to "investigate" what happened. (Also my insurance doesn't pay for the ship to my door process so I have to have it sent to my pharmacy). But this company is a joke and does NOT put us patients first!

Long test process with no actual treatment

Go through a lengthy testing process and then the prescription doesn't materialize. The 'pharmacy' doesn't seem to really exist. They've wasted a month of my time. Whatever they used to be in order to have 4 stars, they no longer are. Find an alternative. I'm having to a month after starting with them. Super frustrating obviously, so I'd like to save others the same hassle and wasted time.

Overall Good!!

Overall, Mistr has been good! It’s easy and convenient, which is what you want for something like this. Really my only negative is that they ship every 3 weeks (and even less time if you recently did testing), so it’s very easy to overstock the pills. But I get why they do it that way (to make sure you don’t run out)

Run!

Run! There are alternatives to this company that poses itself as an advocate for the Gay community, but in fact, they are just another greedy and unavailable and detached corporate company. I tried several times to simply ask questions so I could be better informed to make decisions about which approach I should take as a newly gay man to protect myself. After several attempts, the AI bot just continue to say, please write your questions and someone will get back to you. It’s been over a week and I simply wanted to speak to a live person and they are unable to do that. This is not something that you want to make important decisions with when they are that unavailable. If you give them money which ironically I was willing to do if I could just get questions answered, Then apparently they have Support, but not until you give them your information and credit card. This is not a Caring approach.
