Wow — what an incredible experience at Hobbysew Kings Park! I’d been on a mission (the dramatic, midnight‑Googling kind) to find the perfect sewing/embroidery machine. I thought I’d found “the one” online — best price, great specs, basically my future soulmate. So I called Hobbysew Kings Park and asked them to hold it until the next day.
Next morning: two‑hour drive, snacks packed, GPS arguing with me as usual. I finally arrived… and OMG. The staff were absolutely fantastic. The manager, Andrea (sorry if I got the name wrong — I was too excited to focus), was warm, welcoming, and wonderfully professional.
And then there was Robyn. This woman deserves a medal, a trophy, and maybe her own public holiday. She spent a full hour showing me different machines, answering every question (trying to getthrough my very heavy Russian accent), and letting me “play” with half a dozen models. I basically turned their store into my personal sewing playground.
Thanks to her patience, I discovered that the machine I originally wanted had a tiny screen I couldn’t read — even with my glasses. That would’ve been a $3000 “oops”. A very expensive oops.
Instead, Robyn helped me find a machine I didn’t even know existed — bigger screen, better features, and still within my budget (my man was thrilled). And then… they handed me a huge bag of freebies. I’m talking Santa‑came-early level freebies.
I left with the perfect machine, an amazing price, and the happiest mood ever. Hobbysew Kings Park — you’re absolute legends. Highly recommended.

The delivery took longer than the advertised 3-10 days. Ordered 18 June and delivered 2 July.
I contacted Taryn, customer service and she was extremely helpful in giving me an explanation for the delay. As they item was out of stock she sourced it from a Hobbysew shop in Sydney, which was appreciated, but it did take a further 9 days to be received. The quality received was very good and nicely packaged.
The delivery price for 2 metres of fabric was $19.00. This is extremely expensive for delivery within Sydney. Most sites offer free or around half that price.

I have always loved singer sewing machines. I’ve got the singer embroidery machine as well. I wouldn’t buy anything else.

The product I ordered wasn't in stock and so it was ordered but the supplier sent the wrong item. I was contacted by HobbySew and asked whether I would like a similar product but I decided to wait for the one I really wanted. Staff were very helpful and apologetic for the long wait, but it was worth it in the end. The item, being fragile was well wrapped and delivered. Thanks HobbySew.

The item was sent out promptly and as you use Australia Post it was easily tracked. Australia Post is the most reliable for delivery in my area.

Forgot I had made my order "collect". Hobbysew Penrith tried to contact me when I was overseas and the call didn't come through. Loretta contacted the Penrith branch who are still holding my order and let me know it was still available for collection.

I sort of knew that I wanted to learn to sew but I didn't have the money to buy me a sewing machine , then my step daughter offered the one she had been given and I really appreciated her for that as that pushed me into buying one .
