ABSOLUTELY AWFUL COMPANY AVOID USING AT ALL COSTS!!! Got them in to install a boiler and 8 rads told me it would take 2 days! Sent 2 lads (1 installer and 1 apprentice) did the job in one day and left nothing but problems. Boiler was left leaking from one of the valves and 5 of the 8 rads were left leaking. Tried to call Jo and his business partner numerous times aswell as WhatsApp and just completely ignored me. Promise you the earth and deliver nothing. Trust me stay away from these COWBOYS!!! If it was to my satisfaction he wouldn't of left at 7.30 at night saying the job was done and be back at 8 the same night because I had to ring him and tell him there were leaks lol. You sent him back for free because the job wasn't done correctly in the 1st place so don't give me that. And why won't you answer my calls or texts for weeks? But you are quick enough to answer me on here??? USELESS COWBOYS END OF!!!!

We are very disappointed and somewhat confused after reading your review. We understand after the boiler and radiators were fitted (to your satisfaction at the time the job was completed) a few leaks emerged on your system. We then immediately sent the engineer back to your property, who identified a leak above the filter on the boiler and tightened the joint and it has been fine since. He also identified that the leaks were on your existing pipework, which we state we are not held responsible for in the terms and conditions you accepted when you booked us in. Despite this, we still sent Luke back again (for free) to try his best to fix any leaks on the system, only to be met by your refusal to let him carry out any work. As myself and the engineer both expressed to you we are more than happy to come and re-pipe the existing pipework causing the leak, however this will be chargeable due to the fact we are not responsible for your existing system and have already sent an engineer back twice at our expense.

Happy with job, not happy with price increase
Very happy with the fitting & engineers. Not happy with the quote increasing once the job was complete, by £200 due to additional parts being required. I pointed out this was not my fault & if I knew the actual cost of the job could have gone with another quote, but after 4 phone calls from them I gave in as felt very stressed with the whole thing & paid the extra. I would suggest in future an engineer attends the customers property to give a correct quote at the beginning.

Very happy to hear that you were happy with the installation. In terms of the increase on the original quote, this was due to your flue being concealed in an, at the time, inaccessible void space. The flue need extra bends and extensions and this was not visible from the photos you sent to our advisor, and would not have been possible to identify on a survey without damaging your walls or ceiling. The cost of the flue parts picked up by the engineer were over £200, and after explaining this we even agreed to reduce the increase to £100. This meant that we covered half of the expense for the extra parts required. We are very sorry that you were left disappointed with this and we really hope this won't prevent you from recommending our company. We are more than happy to provide a receipt to yourself as proof of the cost of the extra parts used if needs be, you can call or email us anytime.

I was very stressed with my boiler not working (and actually leaking!) and hometech have been nothing but helpful from start to finish. I got a quote on Tuesday morning and the new boiler was put in and all finished by 2pm the next day. The engineer and the gentleman on the phone made the whole process so much easier for me.
