HOUSECHOICE LIMITED 

Housechoice installed my solar panels 5 weeks ago and I am really happy with the look of them. I was concerned that they would look awful as I live in a new house. I have seen really good power generated on the odd sunny day recently and I am excited to see the production in summer. The service was great from start to finish although. Everyone was professional. I did have 1 or 2 issues getting through to them sometimes but I understand as this is an extremely busy period. I was then given the mobile number of the person who sold me the system who I could contact direct in future.

Since 11th October 2021, have repeatedly tried to get someone to respond to a servicing request. An e-mail with a promise to call is just not good enough.
Excellent Installation of product spoilt by total lack of aftercare.
Update. Have been contacted by Housechoice and the servicing has been arranged and completed.
However, for 2 years there has always been a problem with getting someone to call back about servicing our boiler, months can go by with repeated telephone calls and no response.
We have been promised a better service in future but this review is based on current aftercare. I have increased from 1 to 2 stars based on a promise to improve aftercare and the excellent care provided by the service engineer that serviced our boiler.
Update. I don't know if aftercare has improved or not, so number of stars remain unchanged. As for more information, or else they want to remove the review. How many months of repeated phone calls and e-mails do they need before responding to customers service request.

I recommend HouseChoice without hesitation. Competitive boiler quote, prompt and efficient installation, and, just as important, reliable after-sales servicing. A real pleasure to do business with them.

Totally recommend this company, used for fixing a boiler clock issue, diagnosed and fixed with a new programmer on the same day. Have previously used for servicing. Always on time and completely professional - couldn’t ask for a better service 5*.

With rising energy costs and our consumption also increasing, I decided to relook into solar energy. I'd previously considered it but our roof configuration and orientation isn't favourable. Danny and Jonathan worked hard to come up with a bespoke design that has superseded our energy production expectations. Last providers proposal wasn't worth the outlay... This is a huge relief, especially given that energy prices on average double every 10 years. So for us it's a much better return on our savings long term. The installation went well, all the documentation was professionally handled and the aftercare has been superb! Really felt in safe hands. Highly recommended.

Jonathan and his team were Excellent. They provided a superb service. The customer support was excellent. Steve and Ramel who worked on our heating system for 8 days worked tirelessly and were clean and tidy, whilst being friendly and polite.

Just had Solar panels fitted today.
Had been interested in these and was debating to have them installed for a while.
Made an enquiry to HouseChoice and have been so pleased with the outcome.
Was contacted within 24 hours and a representative came to visit within the week.
Explained fully the process and requirements of the installation and the timeframe that this would entail.
The very same week, a survey was completed. I was expecting a wait then but installation sorted the next week.
The installation today was done in less than 5 hours.
With a great south facing roof, I'm now benefitting from free power during daylight hours and earning money from my surplus generation being put back into the grid.
An exceptional service and I'm exceptionally pleased.

Great service from first initial communications with Jonathan (post Covid video analysis of the job) through to Daniel who perserved with what turned out to be quite a complicated job on the days, working well past usual working hours. Would highly recommend.

The survey was done with precise information, rather than hard selling.
The pricing was extreamly good value, with the added benifit of being under-written, which is important when ever servicing and parts are guaranteed for 10 years.
Installation was done within time given, by a clean and efficient installer, who was on time and explained what he was going to be doing on both days.
Do get other quotes, compare, and even ring with questions as i found this company very easy to talk to

Great boiler installation, everything went well . Highly recommended

I give 4 stars only because some one from House Choice (Jonathan) does care about the job and customer satisfaction. He would take on board valid concerns and trying to rectify imperfections.

I had a very bad experience with the plumber was sent to replace the boiler.

1. He was planning to run the pipeline visible under the ceiling. We had to argue and make it invisible, we had to remove the carpet and laminated floors and remove the floor timbers all by ourselves so that he hide the pipes.

2. We had to remove the boiler tank box on behalf of him, then he left few pipes erected in place and refused to put some efforts and make the connections under the floor. On several occasions we had to contact Jonathan so that the job gets done appropriately.

3. Flush cleaning supposed to have been done. After the plumber finished, we removed a radiator, the water was completely black? If the flush was ever done would the water in the radiator be black?

4. I warned the plumber when turning the main water on and off there would likely be leaking from the tap controlling the main. He said don’t worry this is two minutes job. Finally he left and the tap is leaking.

5. The plumber was told to use elbow joints for boiler vent for future development. He did say ok but never done it.

The plumber was always in a mood to say No/ impossible... even saying (you do it) !!!

I cannot say all plumbers working for House choice are the same, our one was not what would you expect from a professional company at all.

Overall, happy with the work althought there were some problems/misunderstanding during the course ( but I guess it happens in any othr jobs) and was largely resolved at the end. Happy with the new boiler and it is running smoothly. professionally dealt specially Jonathan was co-operative and informative! Very reasonable quote too as well as excellent coverage of warranty/ guarantee and boiler servicing included. Work was also completed in a timely manner..Keep up the good work guys! Having had a few quotes for a boiler replacement, I settled for Housechoice having read good reveiws. I'm glad I did, the service was first class. After a survey I agreed a start date, the engineer Stephen turned up dead on time, worked steadily all day, was pleasant and informative and made very little mess.
The electrician also appeared on time and was efficient and wasted no time setting the new controls. The Company also followed up with phone calls to make sure I was satisfied with the workmanship.
