I’m not surprised this company have…

I’m not surprised this company have gone into liquidation,absolutely appalling after care I’m still waiting for the Certificate of service from 2 years ago.Unfortunately I have to give a 1 star rating but they really don’t deserve that..The owner Liam is obnoxious and downright rude I have the WhatsApp messages saved.Supposed to have a 15 year guarantee so what happens now..Had to put the date in as within the past year but this happened in 2021

Avoid this company! Poor service!

To everyone who go through my review! Please avoid this company and save your money. Better pay more now, rather then save a 100 £ and paid a lot more later.
I had my new Ideal combi logic boiler plus new radiators for an offer of near 6000£. After I had another three offers from different companies, I decided to choose a Hydris, because of the best offer and because I have been told from Danny, that my boiler will have a 10 years warranty.
However, my boiler was installed in May 2021, but the tenants move in couple of months later. Since the cold weather come, they started complains about the boiler and radiators, that some of the radiators are half way hot and half way cold. Also, they need to set up the thermostat at 26 degrees to be able to reach a temperature of 20 on the second floor. There was definitely something going wrong with the boiler, but there was no one who I contact regarding this issue. I am still paying for a protection plan to another company called Rapid Response Heating, but they never contact me back to say, that they took over all the customers from Hydris and that the Hydris company shut down. I found out on my self what is going on. Rapid response heating is the same company as Hydris, but just because they mess about the customers they change their name, thinking that people are stupid enough.
However an engineer attended my property after an year, for a fee of 50£, at the same time I am paying for protection plan every mont 28£. He spent less than 10 min in my property to tell me that there isn't any issues with the boiler or the radiators. The tenants keep complaining again and that brings me so big headache.
Now I am waiting to get an engineer from Ideal to see if there is any faults with the boiler, but because Rapid Response didn't done the annual service of my boiler I must paid a 120£ for check to be carried out. Also Ideal customers services told me that the warranty of my boiler is only two years, not 10 as I have been told from Danny. I don't believe that Ideal engineer will say something different then Rapid Response. Let see what's going to be happening.
I am very unhappy with the service and I did pay nearly 6000£ for that. Legal actions will be taken again this!
Please, AVOID this company if you respect your money and the way how you get them!

Poor boiler service plan

Unfortunately they are poor at responding to requests to service my boiler which was due 2 months ago. I paid for their service plan and its proving impossible to contact them to provide the service I have paid for - extremely disappointed and I post this to alert others

Very poor company and poor service.

Very poor company and poor service.
I got my boiler installed 2 months back and there is a leakage from all over the place.
They will offer you a low quote to attract customers but trust me its not worth it at all.
No response to emails or phone calls.
There is seepage all over the wall.
The paint of my house has been destroyed.

Stay well clear of Hydrus Plumbing & Heating

Had a boiler installed by Hydrus late 2022. No problems with the installation or the boiler itself.
In June 2023 had an email from them to take out a 5 year annual service plan with them, which I did because the price was good for each service. I paid them £320 for the plan, but that is where the problems started. They txt to make an appointment which I did, but no-one turned up on the day. Since then I have rung 3 times and get the same guy who says he will pass the message on to the service dept. to ring me back. No one has rung. I have even emailed and texted at least 6 times, but again no reply. I strongly advise anyone to stay well clear of this company. The after sales service is non existant.

Goos sales and Installation APPALLING AFTER SALES

I had a boiler installed by Hydrus Jan 23 no problem at all with the installation, BUT their after sales service is rubbish. The phone is answered quickly and politely by what I suspect is an agency who can only pass the message on and after a week and 3 calls i have not had the promised call back, Is it alright to be without hot water for over a week?
I would not use Hydrus again

We have recived an e mail from Rapid Response Plumbing and Heating saying Hydrus was in administration and the new company will not honour the extended warranty on our boiler , Also the payments we have made for an annual boiler service are gone. RAPID RESPONSE WERE FORMED ON 14-8-23 AND THE DIRECTOR IS BEN THOMPSON THE SAME DIRECTOR AS HYDRUS.STAY WELL CLEAR OF BOTH COMPANIES

No service no refund

Had a boiler installed by Hydrus last year, took out a service plan also.
Had no contact from them about the service so rang up multiple times and finally got through and booked a service for 29th August .on the day of the appointed service I got a message saying the appointment was cancelled and Hydrus had gone into liquidation. Paid for the service paln and haven't been refunded .

Was paying into a service plan £7.00 for 11 months. Now been advised that their separate service company has gone into administration. So not only is my boiler not serviced but I have lost £77

Please be aware of the Hydrus Heating

Please be aware of the Hydrus Heating. I have had boiler service plan with them paying monthly. As they were unable to fulfill it, they offered refund if I agree to pay to a different company do the service. I done that 4 weeks ago but since then no contact, no money back. If you respect your money don't go with Hydrus heating.

DANGEROUS INSTALLATION & LEGAL PROCEEDINGS

I'm following up on my wife's review below. We had a faulty installation, a gas leak, a water leak which caused damage to our property, and several months on we still have a faulty boiler. Hydrus replied below stating "THIS IS THE FIRST TIME THESE PROBLEMS HAVE BEEN BROUGHT TO OUR ATTENTION."

THIS IS A LIE.

We have been trying to get Hydrus to fix their faulty install for months, they know about all the problems and aren't prepared to fix them without charging us more money. WE NOW HAVE BEGUN LEGAL PROCEEDINGS AGINST THEM.

AVOID!!!!!!!!

Great customer service

Ben came to service our boiler, he was very efficient, rang when he was 20 mins away and was very polite. He gave us some tips to reduce our gas bill and was very helpful!

Absolutely first class

Absolutely first class service from start to finish. Fran the engineer, installed the new boiler in half a day and couldn't have worked harder or done more. Having had a ridiculous quote from another company, I was somewhat apprehensive as to quality of the product and labour. I needn't have worried and would absolutely recommend Hydrus.

Avoid! They caused a gas leak and a water leak and didn't follow the suppliers required installation guidance

1)The engineer leaving us his number is an internal training issue for your to handle but this was our experience
2) We have told your engineer, the office and Michael about the gas leak and he confirmed there had been an ongoing gas leak as he had to fix it when he visited our property
3) your office does know about this and my Husband sent a long detailed email to Michael but we haven't had a response. We still haven't been contacted.
Original review: Avoid this company, they're unprofessional and hire unsafe engineers. We still have ongoing issues and are now finding them non responsive completely to our complaint. I've provided our story below for you to consider before buying. We we had a few companies out to provide guidance and a quote. The initial salesmen who came from Hydrus was very polite and friendly and seemed to know what he was doing. He advised us of the best boiler type for our system and he recommended we buy a new pump as well as a new boiler due to the way our system was configured. We went ahead with the order and purchased a Vaillant boiler and a new pump from Hydrus. When the engineer came out to fit the boiler, he seemed to struggle and was here for the whole day. I say this because he was making phone calls on his mobile asking for guidance and assistance on how to fit the boiler and the system. I could hear him as I work from home. It came about that we needed to install a new control panel for the system even though the existing one seemed to work fine but we went with the recommendations and bought one from Hydrus which was barely secured to the wall.
The day after the boiler was fitted, I woke up and I could smell gas in our bedroom. I could smell it in a few rooms and when I went into our utility the strong smell of gas met me. The engineer gave us our number as we had a few odd plumbing jobs to do around the house and he said he would give us a good price but not through Hydrus so he left us with his own mobile. I contacted him and he said he was away fitting a boiler but to turn the gas off at the mains and he'd come fix it after work.
This made very nervous as it seemed that he was trying to cover his poor work from the company. He came out and told me there was no leak and I must have imagined the smell or could smell the exhaust through the open windows ( which were open because of the smell of gas in the first place)
The second issue we had was the pump started leaking, it leaked badly and came through the ceiling below, ruined the carpet and bloated the wooden door for the cupboard it was in. At this point we got in touch with Hydrus and after some back and forth, they apologised and reimbursed us for a carpet clean and replacement of the new door. The operations manager even came out to check the boiler over. When the manager came out he identified that there STILL was a gas leak on the boiler and was very honest which I appreciated. He provided me with a technical report to say the boiler was now safe, he refit the wonky control panel and we had since found out that one of the water pipes in the wall had been knocked and was leaking so the manager fixed this too. Ultimately, we were happy at this stage.
However, the boiler kept displaying a fault and would turn itself off. We spoke to Hydrus and they said we would need to speak to Vaillant as this would be under our warranty.
When the Vaillant engineer came out, he said Hydrus had fit the boiler incorrectly and they hadn't follow the supplier recommendations and this was the cause for the fault. Turns out that the type of boiler we bought, needed a secondary overflow and should never have been installed without this as it's part of their requirements. The Vaillant engineer kindly provided us with photos of the inside of the boiler highlighting where it was very obvious this should have been installed. He even sent us an email to say this. Hydrus are now refusing to install this part so we're left with a boiler which isn't fit for purpose even after they caused an ongoing gas leak in our home, incorrectly installed a pump which leaked and incorrectly installed our boiler! To add insult to injury, the week after our boiler was fitted and we had the ongoing gas leak issue I received a marketing email from Hydrus offering me £150 off the boiler as a special offer, I asked if this could be honoured and they said no as I already paid! Ironically this is the cost of the part they're now saying I need. Terrible customer service, very unsafe and very unprofessional. Avoid, avoid avoid!

WORST AFTER SALES SERVICE POSSIBLE. AVOID AVOID AVOID.

Had a new boiler and a couple of new radiators installed in April 2023. The engineer was clearly a bit out of his depth but carried on and I couldn't fault his determination.
Unfortunately, within a few weeks on the install I had a leak from one of the water pipes to the boiler that was part of the new installation.
I called Hydrus to get it sorted as they had only just relieved me of £4,000 and offered me a 12 year warranty but they didn't answer or reply to my messages. I finally got through to someone who could supposedly help me and he promised to get an engineer to come out. This didn't happen nor did I receive any contact from Hydrus.
I've emailed, messaged, left voice mails over a period of weeks and they are simply ignoring them all. Hydrus have THE WORST after sales service I have ever encountered. A proper "take your money and run" company. AVOID!!!
UPDATE - Having seen my review on Trustpilot, rather than contacting me to try and resolve my obvious dissatisfaction, Hydrus complained that I'd included a phone number in my review!!! I think this confirms their attitude to customer service.
