Unrealistic prices.
Employees were respectful, but however the prices here are extortionate!! Was the niceness of the staff only to cover up the unrealistic price i was charged? Screen protector for £12!!! Beyond a joke.

The staff were really helpful and answered all my questions. They even charged up my phone for me whilst sorting my laptop. Very accommodating, good prices!

THIS IS NOT FAKE DESPITE THEIR REPLY - Replaced my phone screen with a faulty one that didn’t work for £90. Returned and they replaced again with a faulty one. When I came back to tell them they argued with me really nastily and said they only replace it once and that I need to pay for a third one!!! I left immediately what a scam!

AVOID iCrack Lichfield …
I took my iPhone to iCrack Lichfield for a new battery I was told that it was £20 and would take about 30 minutes. When I returned i was given my phone back with apparently a new battery. I then checked my battery level. It was 74 percent!! The guy said he had made a mistake and immediately put a new battery in which took a couple of minutes. He was going to charge me £20 for nothing. AVOID THIS SHOP.

I am trying to contact iCrack in Barnstaple , they have my iWatch they told me they could change the battery never said anything about the age of my iWatch now after paying £60 I have nothing to show for it they have my watch and will NOT respond to emails or phone calls . Total disgrace , This was NOT a FAKE review I was left without a iWatch and £60 down , however since then I have had my iWatch returned and I am very happy with it , just a shame this could not have happened first time around , please take down your "FAKE REVIEW" post as it was genuine

Nottingham’s iCrack shop is excellent. I have zero knowledge regarding modern technology but the staff have been super patient answering my half arsed questions on the both occasions I needed their help.
Sent my iPad 6 mini in for a digitiser
Sent my iPad 6 mini in for a digitiser, I was quoted £85 for replacement.
I let them carry out the work, and on collection the price had gone from £85 to £150 and they had broken the finger I’d button in the process, it’s come back worse then when it went in.

I went into Icrack Salisbury to get my iPhone 13 Pro fixed, they said that they would be able to do this and that I would get my iPhone back the next day however when I contacted them the next day they said that my iPhone had been damaged in the machine that removes the back glass and that they needed to send it away to their lab (which I dont believe that there was ever a Lab) one week went by and the phone was still not ready another week goes by and then they tell me that the phone is lost in the mail and that they are investigating it, this went on another week and then they tell me that it is definitely lost by this point it was 4 weeks gone, I was so angry at this point, they then said that they will replace the phone and when I went in they then said that I still needed to pay for my other phone to which I was flabbergasted.
Please please don’t go to these clowns if you want your phone back in one piece or AT ALL

Went here to get my iPhone 13 pros back…
Went here to get my iPhone 13 pros back glass fixed which seemed fine after taking it out the shop. A few days later the phone does not work at all, just constantly boot loops. I go back to the store and the worker at the store sends it to be looked at. When the phone comes back with a replaced battery I am charged 70 pounds for this damage which they may or may not have been the cause of. Anyway, roughly a month later, the battery starts to not charge at all only sometimes working for a minute or so before shutting off. Moral of the story: I would NOT recommend going here for a phone repair if you want products of decent quality.

We went into icrack at
18 Above Bar Street.
Southampton.
SO14-7BQ.
On the 1st March 24. For screen replacement. Paid £10 deposit.
As its my partner's phone and he works on the Cruise ships only docking in Southampton on Fridays we told the staff how important it was to be ready, as it's the only communication he has for work, bank and abroad family communication.
We were assured it would be ready.
WEEK 1. 8th March, I phoned the shop on his behalf to be told the phone was not back because it was a return postage hold-up,
Again reassuring me they would follow up the delay and it would be the shop the following week again.
WEEK 2. 15th March, Another phone call, same excuse.
WEEK 3. 22nd March, not there. But they did say they would give discount on original price for repair.
I've tried phoning the shop number

every day 26th-27th-28th and they don't answer.
I even found a phone number for the shop next to them. Dr Martin shoe shop where a very helpful lady even went outside and checked that icrack was open and it was not busy with customers, so why they didn't answer phone I don't know.
My partner's sailing schedule changes beginning of April and won't be docking in Southampton.
I live in the North, so its hard for me to visit the shop in person.
I would say something about the service BUT HAVENT HAD ANY.
This is not a FAKE review.
I have a receipt for repair.
Back up phone records.
.PLEASE DON'T USE THEM.

THIS IS NOT A FAKE REVIEW.
FULL DETAILS INCLUDING INVOICE NUMBER IN REVIEW.
Day 1. Bought new Samsung phone with 24 month guarantee. Assured it would support tap and go and other apps. On downloading app, no certification. Did not support tap and go. No NFC.
Day 2. Returned to shop. Owner assured me it would support tap and go. Attempted to fix it. Still did not work. Half an hour later changed phone for another of same model. Downloaded app. Still no certification. Did not work. No NFC.
Day 3. Returned to shop. Owner annoyed. Accused us of downloading unregistered software. Spent another half an hour attempting to fix it. Owner rang support who informed him that model had no NFC. as it was not designed to work in Europe. Owner changed phone for another later version Samsung with NFC. Returned home. Downloaded payment app. 'no certification'. Contacted Samsung with phone details. Told that these phones would not work in Europe and would have no guarantee.
Day 4. Returned to shop. Owner very annoyed. Accused us of downloading unregistered software. Would not accept the phone would not work in UK. Would not give us a refund. Another half an hour of defensive arguing with husband. Eventually offered to change phone for Iphone. Husband left saying we would think about it.
Day 10. Returned to shop. Requested refund. Owner pressed us to accept Iphone saying his boss would not let him refund. We refused Iphone numerous times. Half an hour later we said unless he refunded the money we would take him to court. He accused us of blackmailing him and he wouldn't make refund. We told him to phone his boss. He apparently did so, but not speaking in English. He then offered us the iPhone, another phone with a discount or, eventually, a refund. We finally got a refund with very bad grace. All of these Samsungs supposedly had 24 month guarantees. Not one of them worked in the UK or had any GUARANTEE.
For the benefit of the company the number on the receipt for the third non working phone that was refunded is 10726 dated 28.2.24.
The details of phones and the business have been sent to Trading Standards.
Moral of the (long) tale, avoid this shop unless you have a week to spare and money to lose. Beware their 'new' phones. Before I am accused of it, this is NOT a fake review.

More broken parts than before I send it
My iPad was returned with more broken parts than before and they charged me extra because they said the home button was not working. When I received the item (paid £80 in total from the £45 I was supposed to pay) the iPad was not charging and I did send it back. They got my Ipad and I have not heard from them since!!!!! I paid double what they asked, I wasted my time and ended up without my iPad. And no one answers my emails or chats.

iPhone not keeping charge so was…
iPhone not keeping charge so was advised to replace the battery even though the phone was showing 85% capacity.
I was told it would be a genuine apple battery but the charge now lasts even less than before. I suspect the battery was an old battery from someone else’s phone. It certainly wasn’t new. Complete waste of money.
