I’ll never recommend this plastic toy to anyone. My instant pot screen went blank while cooking. After all troubleshoot steps with instant pot support, instant pot support itself suggested to buy a new plastic toy. They really think people should buy a new pressure cooker every couple of years? Ridiculous

Almost impossible to use website.

Almost impossible to use website.

Purchased the Superior Slow Cooker because of recommendations in magazines and on retail websites.

Delivery arrived.
Opened box.
Packaging was excellent.
Product looks well manufactured and assembled.
Hence the 2 stars.

That's where it ends.
The only instructions provided was a booklet 10 pages worth.
No instructions other than scan a code to get started. Data usage.
Next scan to download Instant brands Connect App.
Next scan to visit Instant brands UK Youtube channel for useful (Not) videos.
Next scan to connect Instant Pot UK Facebook Community.

The actual user manual on their website, once you can find it. Transfers you to a .Com site which then transfers to a UK.instantbrands.
Is 139 pages in length.
So I won't be downloading and printing that anytime soon.
Back to the booklet.
Aptly named Getting Started Guide.
2 Important safeguards
8 Warranty
Important safeguards Is
READ ALL INSTRUCTIONS
There are not any, other than scan to access using a smart phone or via a web address.
For those without a smart phone or internet access, it would appear to be tough luck.
Then what follows in the booklet are pages headed WARNING with DO's and DO NOT's
Followed by SAVE THESE INSTRUCTIONS
They are not instructions.
Then follows the Warranty
Limitation and Exclusions
Basically the Warranty is worthless as it excludes everything, including 'Use contrary to the operating instructions', (of which there are none with the product or within the packaging).
You are then invited to register your product as follows

Please visit our FAQ page, as we may have already answered your questions.

General Enquiry
Order Enquiry
Trouble Shooting and Support
Change of mind returns

But no actual method of registering your product warranty.

You are asked to enter in a description box what the issue or problem is you are having with your product.

For this you will have to telephone and be in a queue for (how long is a piece of elastic), a lengthy period of time.
When someone deems to answer the telephone you are informed that the line is for Warranty Service and not for Warranty registration.
Please submit an email to customer services.

Product is being returned to retailer for full refund, due to lack of user instructions.

Poor Customer Service in Uk

My Instant Pot pressure cooker suddenly stopped working.I purchased it at the end of February 2023 through Amazon. At the end of September it stopped working. I filled out the form on the website in October, sent the invoice and the requested data and received an email from customer service that would soon return. They never returned. I called on the phone and they never answered or got back to me. I sent an email and they didn't respond. I have small children who need food cooked in a pressure cooker. It is a disregard for the consumer. I don't know where else to turn. It's an expensive product.. Very poor customer service in UK.

Problems with product, dreadful customer service

My old Sage slow cooker, gave up the ghost after 5+ years, so I decided to treat my myself to an expensive new slow cooker / air fryer.
Read the online reviews on the website and decided that the Instantpot Duo Crisp with ultimate lid 13 in 1 would be the ideal choice.
Ordered through John Lewis, as their guarantees are always the best.
Picked it up at Waitrose, tried it on dehydrate banana a couple of days later, ok.
Tried the air fryer for chips a couple of days later, ok again, but difficult to understand all functions as you have no manuals and it is all on line and difficult to see on a mobile phone.
Anyway tried to use slow cooker to do lamb shanks.
2 hours later the machine is still alternating between 1 and 3 bars of pre heating.
Opened the lid and the contents are cold/ like warm.
Put it on pressure cook and it was ok then switched to slow cook straight after and it went through pre cook to cooking after 39 minutes( don’t forget the pot was already hot)
Tried again next day and it still will not pre heat.
Wrote twice to instantpot customer support, got no replies.
Wrote to John Lewis and they have immediately offered me a return and refund ( thanks to them for their excellent customer service as always)
Now got a Ninja ( all works excellent) always look at all reviews etc before buying / Using something where customer support is non existent.
Ps don’t ever give up on fighting for your rights
2 -3 weeks to quickly sort it out, but sorry I stupidly didn’t look at all reviews prior to buying as when I typed my problem with pre heating for the Instantpot in Google it appears many other people have the same problem.
Whatever happened to customer service and companies caring for the quality of the items they sell.
Not happy with this product, could have just been a duff machine, but if the company can’t even be bothered to reply to my two emails, then it doesn’t deserve to get any more business

I have been after a instant pot duo…

I have been after a instant pot duo 5.7L lid replace lid for bloody ages. I cannot understand why they are out of stock for the last 36 months. Nobody tells you why there are no replacement parts. No explanation given on their website. This means I cannot use the pressure cooker for stews and soups. I tried the glass lid. It's rubbish.

I accidentally burnt the base of my instant pot dou, contacted customer services to buy a new part. They were so helpful and even though it was my own fault today I received a brand new instant pot free of charge. I couldn't believe it, I am so happy as I love this kitchen appliance. Thank you so much.

Very poor user information

Very poor user information. The user manuals on the website don't match our device. You cannot find the user manual using the product code (and the naming convention is not consistent between the site and the various manuals).
No Quick start guide. Some tags labelled 'remove before use' are hidden. I only found them by chance.
No user information showing you what each button does or where important items such as the pressure release value is actually located.

Poor customer service

My Instant Pot pressure cooker suddenly stopped working and displays a C6L error code. The Instant Pot is within warranty, but when reported to customer service they took 15 days to reply and their response was to ask for information that was already in my initial complaint (case #01998401), such as proof of purchase, the type of error and my address. Very poor customer service.

Badly designed products

Badly designed products. The air fryer lid on our duo crisp no longer makes proper contact with the base so is basically landfill. It’s less than 18 months old. The whole thing seems to be made of plastic which will warp with heat. Don’t buy their garbage.

Terrible customer service

Terrible customer service, do not even bother to acknowledge emails. My air fryer stinks of plastic each time I use it & its 4 months old, even though the instructions say the smell goes away quickly, it doesn't!
