Definitely a foreign operator. Slightly hard to understand

While reviewing my wallet activity, I found certain transactions difficult to follow. Further blockchain analysis from 𝖿𝗎𝗇𝖽𝗋𝖾𝗂𝗆𝖻𝗎𝗋𝗌𝖾𝗆𝖾𝗇𝗍 helped clarify the transaction flow and context.

Does not accept polish tax ID number in KYC form - rejects it as not valid format.

Support first did not respond for 4 days, later advised me to... change my KYC data in a way that would make me circumvent and not fill in data required by MIFIR x_x

Nothing like encouraging your clients to commit regulatory crime to workaround a broken form x_x

Absolutely the worst brokers around. Spent hours opening an account, funded it but couldn't log in. Emails said accounts were open and funded ok. Apps crashed, web pages slow, dummy account awful. Zero support. Eventually told I had to wait up to 48 hours after funding before I could trade. Withdrew the money and told 1 week till I get it back! What a bunch of jokers.

What a scam. They make it impossible to leave. I have endless proof - screenshots of QR codes not working, bogus error messages. This is corporate theft at its worst. The world is such much worse off for companies like this. Horrendous. And I still can't close my account. There are also error messages when trying to contact them

Opened an account as I was told IB could help with management of International Shares I held. Given a different answer every time I called. Appallingly complicated website. NEVER use this company unless you have enormous funds and clout. I am trying to close my account and retrieve the £230 + they hold ... IMPOSSIBLE.

IBKR is completely a scam and fraud. They should be investigated and shut down. This exchange is full of fraud, and the scammers are stealing from me and my family , who are both customers. They even locked my account on the same day for no reason. Please do not use this platform — all of them act like scammers and frauds, and many of the people I dealt with were from India. Please file a complaint with the U.S. government so they can enforce the law against this kind of scam. Please sue IBKR for scam and theft.

Awful UI, bad customer service, can't take money out

Wastes time of investors asking for absurd and impossible to obtain documents

Abysmal support. Site is ridden with bugs. Account opening process will stall and they will cancel your application without so much as telling you. Sessions time out in minutes and require 2FA with their awful mobile app every time, so that keeping an eye on a market becomes impossible. Site is horrifically slow. These guys have completely forgotten about the user.

Opened ticket on 1/18/26; Attempting ROTH conversion (partial), only cash showing did NOT include Sweep Account. IB support replied to "try again and reopen ticket if it does not work" on 01/20/26. Tried again, same results. Now NO ONE is even working the ticket and it's 01/26/26 and can't proceed with conversaion

The fees are pretty standard, but the slippage is horrible ~_~ I executed hundreds of trades on a lower timeframe, and occasionally the filling is super poor

I funded an IBKR account with ~CAD $440,000 based on incorrect information from their representatives about direct access to Korean stock trading. After depositing the funds, I was told this was not actually possible.

When I requested an immediate withdrawal (no trades executed), IBKR informed me my money would be held for several days, causing daily financial loss.

Misleading information, inconsistent support, and unnecessary withholding of funds. Very disappointing experience.

Very unergonomic platform making it very blurry to trade stocks.
Customer service is very poor on top of a complicated cash in cash out service.

I converted Euro to USD to buy US-stocks. 1 entire day after I converted it Interactive Brokers claimed that the conversion was not finished and there it was handled as I would have buy a stock without having enough funds. That means that Euro was automatically converted to USD but to a REALLY bad conversion rate. To avoid those auto-conversion rates which are basically a scam i was told that I have to manually convert the money which is exactly what I did. It also displayed that I had no more EUR but USD instead lol. The system still handled the situation as I would have no EUR and screwed me over.

A fake website that claims to be subsidiary of IBKR USA is fleecing innocent investors in Pakistan. No one should trust IBKR Pakistan. It’s fraud.

The hold period before you can make trades is ridiculous. And the customer service is a joke as well. Avoid at all costs. I'd leave 0 stars if possible
