disappointing customer support.

The iphone is great but I am very disappointed in the service provided by Apple when requesting a password reset. I have answered all the security questions and provided codes from my phone number and email and they are still telling me that I have got to wait 12 days for recovery!
you would think that such a high tech company would be able to address the password reset query a lot quicker. If a bank can send a link to reset passwords, I don't see why Apple can't do the same.
This issue will make me think twice about buying another iphone as I have never encountered this problem before with a phone!

My iPhone keeps slowing down

My iPhone keeps slowing down and then I have to reboot my phone to be able to use it. 3GB ram is moderate and I’ve got over 140GB of free storage space, even after upgrading to iOS 15.5 it made no difference. It gets annoying by the day.

Netflix Settings

I had recently aquired a new iPhone and had transferred my Netflix account to it as well. Everything should've been working fine except that I kept getting a message that the video couldn't be loaded and to try again.

I did the basic troubleshooting steps I've always done such as rebooting my phone, resetting network settings, logging in and out of the Netflix App, making sure the settings of both my phone and Netflix account were working - all to no avail. I was at my wits end and had even considered resetting the phone to its previous state.

I reluctantly chatted with Apple's customer service support in spite of the numerous negative feedback. What was there to lose anyway, right?

I don't know if it was luck or what, but the it only took about 10 minutes for the rep to ask me what I had done, and it all looked like I had. He suggested I try checking out my airplane mode setting. It was off, but he suggested, turn it on then off. For some weird reason, it worked.

I can tell you right off the bat what would happen if I got another rep who was having a bad day. I bet you, I'd have been given the runaround. But thanks to the rep like the one I got - man, they're few and far between - I was really lucky.

Support old models

Generally, Apple makes durable, high quality products. But what’s the point of de-marketing old iphone models for the sake of new ones?
I think instead of taking old phone models to obscurity, Apple can continue to support them without necessarily making it obvious that they will be discontinued sooner or later.

Watch out for the biggest new scam run…

Watch out for the biggest new scam run by “Apple”. Bought iphone 12pro (1880AUD) in 2021. Since then it’s been heating up showing “temperature warnings”which makes the phone stop working. Apple store denied replacement & repair! Do not trust Apple(expensive scam products)!

This is not about Apple STORES or their…

This is not about Apple STORES or their sales personnel, but Apple's UK headquarters.

I have be given about £600's worth of iTunes vouchers and want to buy a new Apple laptop.

However, these are not accepted for such a purchase, as Apple treat this as a different business. (Seems like fraud by stealth to me).

I have now written TWICE to Apple UK HQ, sending both letters by recorded delivery. This is over the last three months.

To date that have ignored my letters and presumably look down on me as a little consumer who is best ignored.

Until now I have been impressed by this giant of a company, but cannot say how disappointed I am with Apple, who in my opinion have reduced their image to that of a retailer with few morals.

Shame on you, Apple!

Disappointed 😔

They should use all this technology and this money to invest on resistant phones instead of toys .The screen brakes so fast , and just to fix it it almost half the price you got it. Everything is made in order to make you pay more. Common we’re in 2022 , we know you guys can improve that really easily, but again , money is more important. I understand its a business and you need to use strategies to reach a higher profit but dont abuse . Please try to base your values on reliability and honesty instead of thinking just about money …. Totally disappointed ☹️

Apple: Your system sucks, I cant reactivate my phone

Hey Apple, can you please get in touch with me as I dont seem to be able to get in touch with you. I have my iphone, I reset it. I had forgot my apple id credentials and I can get my password reset by getting a reset link sent to the registered email, but it seems that you only offer the opportunity to reset the security questions to the actual phone - Ehhhhhhh. I cannot find anything other than repetitive forums mostly leading to the notion that my iphone is now an expensive paperweight. If you can get in touch with me and help me reset my security questions via email (my registered email!!!) I can change this crumby review of my experience with your company. Not only this but your company will be remembered for the environmental crimes your lazy policies enact through the amount of redundancy which is forced. Very unethical and environmentally disasterous. Whilst you fill your stores with a mass of people your online presence is a sheer and featureless edifice whereby nobody can get to speak to a human being with problem solving capacity. I will never invest in another apple product despite the engineering being so good and the software stable. The security is frankly neurotic and the software policies are obsessive and controling.

Apple’s 0% credit facility for iphones - high rejection rate

Have been running old iphones for ages and it was time to upgrade. Went to the Apple phone store and given the high expense of the Iphone3 pro, wanted to spread payments over 24 months at 0%. Have an excellent credit rating and never turned down. Long story short, they use Barclays to offer the credit. No reason given but they turned me down on this and had to pay cash instead. Customers who want to use Apple’s credit facility just be careful it feels like a good gimmick to get you through the deal without providing it. Sales person said he has seen many credit’s refused, even those from solid credits like me. He said in his experience at Apple only 10% got the credit.
