JTX is an independent fitness brand based in West Sussex. We design, build and sell home gym equipment — treadmills, bikes, rowers, cross trainers — directly to our customers. No middlemen, no hype, no subscriptions required. Just dependable machines, honest advice, and a team that’s here when you need them.

JTX Fitness Guarantee

We are here to help you achieve your goals

We are here to help you achieve your goals
JTX started in 2009 with a straightforward idea: fitness equipment should hold up in real use, not just look good on day one. Too much of the industry felt driven by hype — short-term trends and promises that didn’t translate once routines changed or life got busy. We wanted to build something different. Equipment people could come back to through different phases of training, different stages of life, and trust that it would still do its job. That thinking still shapes how we design, build and support every machine today. Training that fits around your life: We design for the way people actually train — the early mornings, the busy weeks, the sessions that just keep you ticking over. Not the highlight reel. Equipment that’s built properly: We prioritise build quality, real-world testing and considered engineering. No gimmicks, no feature clutter — just machines that do what they should, consistently, for years. Support that doesn’t disappear after you buy: Our UK team is here before purchase, during setup, and long after delivery. Buying guides, care advice, repairs — we’re not hard to reach and we don’t hide behind chatbots. Longer warranties, fewer worries: All equipment comes with generous in-home repair warranties as standard. If something needs fixing, we come to you. We back what we build.

Fantastic Robust Product.

After my last treadmill failed I did extensive research before purchasing the JTX Sprint-9 Pro. I am not disappointed with the purchase. Easy to assemble, although 2 people definitely recommended. I have been using now for 6 weeks, it's an incredibly rugged piece of kit and a well cushioned run. The display is no nonsense which is exactly what I wanted. I haven't connected it to my Swift set up yet so I can't comment on the connectivity but I haven't felt I have needed to. Really impressed with the treadmill overall so far and wouldn't hesitate to recommend it.

Getting replacement parts can be a problem

Had a JTX Sprint 7 for nearly 6 years, and with regular maintenance it has worked well.
However, getting parts seems to be an issue at the moment. Have been waiting 2 months now for a replacement motor, and have been without a working treadmill all this time. Fitness has suffered as a result. Please bear this in mind if you are looking to purchase.

Updated 30th June: New motor was finally fitted today, only to find that the fan it came with was broken!
The installer managed to remove the fan from the old motor and attach it to the new motor . The installer showed me the packaging in which the new motor (and fan) arrived in - just some bubble wrap and a thin cardboard box. He wasn't surprised that the motors are getting damaged in transit. Said that most new motors from other manufacturers come wrapped in fitted polystyrene.
Time will tell if the 2nd replacement motor lasts as long as the original. Not impressed!

Hello John,

Thank you for your feedback, we appreciate it.

We're glad to hear that you've been happy with your machine!

I understand that waiting for parts is frustrating, and we are sorry for the delay. We want our customers to have access to the parts they require without having to compromise their fitness.

We now have motors in stock and can get one out to you on the next day of delivery. I have emailed you to get this set up.

Update - I'm glad that the engineer has been out to you and fitted the part, and you are now up and running again. I can assure you that all items are well packaged by our warehouse team, but I have passed this feedback on for future deliveries.

Many thanks,
Laura

Every aspect of dealing with JTX has…

Every aspect of dealing with JTX has been positive. Timely and extremely efficient delivery where I was kept up to date at every opportunity. The quality of the kit is truly outstanding. I bought an air ignite rower and a skier. The construction was straightforward with easy to follow instructions, maybe a little testing at times as a one man build but more than achievable. I had a minor issue with connecting a heart rate monitor and customer service were quick to respond and helpful. Most importantly the kit is a joy to use, smooth and solid. Extremely impressed.

The product is wonderful, delivery bad

The product is wonderful. Great quality. The delivery was unpleasant, I would recommend not using that service for your customers again. The delivery men were early and I was not home so they phoned me repeatedly and insisted I agree to let them leave it outside. I refused as it would be too heavy for me to move, they claimed it wasn’t heavy at all. I refused and asked them to wait and deliver it at the agreed time. They did, but then refused to take it upstairs as they said it was too heavy and it was ‘health and safety’. I quoted the service agreement to them that said it would be taken up 2 floors maximum and they eventually took it up to the first floor. I had to do the next floor myself. It was a horrible experience.

Great service and products …

From going in to the showroom being shown all products I was interested in and having all the information to hand spoke volumes. I can say the treadmill materials are of very good quality and wouldn’t hesitate to buy another item again. Websites can make you hesitant but seeing and now having the treadmill I’m glad I bought from JTX. Delivery was spot on too.

A five star recommendation

For a start, it’s a great product: a solid, stable exercise bike. Well designed and built, and with the confidence of a three year warranty behind it. The ordering process was straightforward and it was delivered on time, on the promised day, by two friendly gentlemen who lifted it up two flights of steps - it’s a heavy unit, which is a good thing for an exercise bike. It took a few hours to add the bits that hadn’t already been put together in the factory; it would’ve been less had I not kept stopping for coffee. The finished article is good to look at, easy to adjust and a pleasure to ride. The computer does everything I need it to and everything is solidly built - there are no ticky-tacky plastic components that look like they might break. Recommended.

Unable to place an order due to unclear delivery restrictions

I spent a long time researching treadmills and had identified the JTX machine I wanted to buy. Before ordering, I had even emailed JTX to ask a few questions about the product. They replied and asked me to provide some further information, but at no point was I asked for my delivery address or made aware that my location may be an issue.

It was only when I reached the checkout that my address would not process and I discovered I could not place the order at all.

This was extremely frustrating. Had JTX made its delivery restrictions clear earlier, I would not have spent time researching the machines, emailing questions, and deciding which model to buy.

I called to speak to someone about it, but the explanation I was given did not really make sense. I am in a major area just outside Aberdeen, yet delivery appears to be available to an address only a few minutes further north, while my address, which is closer to Aberdeen, is not accepted.

I was told this is due to engineer availability if the machine breaks down. I was also told JTX are hoping to resolve this, but that does not give much confidence when I still could not actually place an order. It suggests there is no confirmed arrangement in place at the moment.

I appreciate that service coverage needs to be managed properly, but for a company selling large fitness equipment, it is surprising that there does not appear to be an engineer or third-party service arrangement available for this area.

Ultimately, I could not order the product at all. JTX should make these restrictions clear much earlier in the process, rather than allowing customers to spend time choosing a product only to find at checkout that the order cannot be completed.

Be careful if you plan on moving house, your warranty may be worth nothing!

Hello Anne,

Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review and for giving us a call earlier. We really appreciate customer feedback and we understand your frustrations.

As I said on the phone, we are a small family-run business, and we are looking to expand in the future, so that our engineers can cover all areas of the UK. Unfortunately, at the moment, this is not the case, and we would never want to put our customers in a position where we were unable to get an engineer out to them. I want to assure you that this is something we are actively working on at the moment.

Had we known earlier on in your search that your postcode was unsupported, we would have, of course, let you know. I will pass on your feedback to our marketing team so that we can make it clearer on our website.

Thank you for taking an interest in our products, and we hope to see you as a customer in the future.

Many thanks,
Laura

JTX Pro 9 first impression

As with most people, due to the lack of physical shops for big fitness equipment I did a lot of research before buying. My main criteria was a solid machine, good cushioning and capable of reaching 20km/h. The Pro 9 looks a lot more basic than a lot of other treadmills, no speed adjustment handles, no video screen and general aesthetics aren’t great. The reviews all pointed towards the build quality as a semi-commercial bit of kit so I bought it for that reason. It was delivered within a week, took about an hour to assemble. Assembly is very simple but a bit fiddly. I was nervous before my first run, would it be what I was hoping for. I did 5km as a first run. Was it what I was hoping for. Yes! I was very pleased and looking forward to my next run. You can link Zwift on an iPad if you want to but the real selling point of this treadmill is the feel. If you want all the bells and whistles it’s likely not for you but if you want something responsive under foot for under foot£1.500 this might be for you.

Firstly the cross trainer is amazing…

Firstly the cross trainer is amazing and I couldn’t be happier. The score is lower though due to 2 things. The instructions of how to put it together are not at all helpful. I have bought many a machine like this, and have never had to pay for an engineer to come out (extra £119.00), but I did this time. Also, when delivered the box was damaged, which wasn’t a problem as the equipment was fine, but after taking the pictures the courier left the cross trainer upside down on the box. For me to check that nothing had been damaged I had to turn the box over before opening it. The cross trainer is very heavy and this was not at all helpful.
Another plus side was also how good customer service was is answering my queries. Also the company that sent the engineer out were very helpful.

Hello Yvonne,

Thank you for taking the time to leave a review, it's always helpful for us to get feedback from our customers.

I'm happy to hear that you are pleased with the product itself. That's always good news! We design our machines to be assembled at home following the user guide, but we offer an optional assembly service for customers who would prefer one of our highly trained engineers to assemble it for them. Thank you for letting us know that the user manual could do with being clearer. I have passed this onto our products team.

I'm sorry to hear that the delivery service was less than satisfactory. We want to ensure a smooth delivery process for all our customers as part of their overall experience with us.

I'm so glad we were able to assist with your queries and that you had a positive experience with the engineer.

Please let us know if we can help with anything else.

Many thanks,
Laura
