Didn’t receive any notification of…

Didn’t receive any notification of closure.
Just opened site and checked to see any of my goods sold. Panic when found website closed and it says all returned when didn’t receive any notification or things back.
Have emailed the support email. Hopefully will get a response as they were brilliant when open.

THE BEST 2nd hand fashion platform - I’m so sad it’s gone 😭😭😭

The fact that Lampoo company closed its doors is the saddest fashion news that I encountered in the past 10 years‼️ I literally dread the sad news every day 😭 I do hope Lampoo comes back soon - if it does, please do inform me‼️🥰 I cannot relate to any of the negative reactions at all! I was buying on other platforms too, e.g. Rebelle (recently transformed to Vinted), VC and Fashionfile etc, however I bought most items from LAMPOO as Lampoo had the best curated items, the best and and most accurate descriptions, the best quality products and the range of choice for the customer was the BEST too! The customer service was always quick and polite, their secured quality check was thourough, payment, refund and regulations were spot on. Lampoo was a 2nd hand fashion Champion ‼️🏆 I really enjoyed browsing Lampoo’s website every single day since year 2021, browsing the web site and buying from Lampoo became my hobby - buying for myself, friends, family, others and now this hobby is gone, I’m so sad 😞 I think a few problems appeared after Lampoo launched a new website, the 1st initial web site was much better. I also think that the 2nd shop in UK was not necessary (especially after Brexit, I don’t buy anything from UK since Brexit, it’s too expensive and complicated) …I believe that the shop in France (apart from original shop in Milano) would be a much better choice as France is a part of EU and I believe more popular in general too. It is what it is, but I cannot stress enough how sad I am. Lampoo, if you ever come back, I volunteer to give you my best service in whatever you would need (some experiences are expertise), I am really sad that you’re gone and I HOPE and keeping my fingers crossed that YOU COME BACK SOON - transformed, super shiny, even more successful and stronger than ever 🥂🍀🍀🌞🎉 Yours truly, Linda 🌸🤗

Dishonest Lampoo. Over six months ago I requested for…

Over six months ago I requested for returns of my brand new designer boots and sunglasses. Lampoo has delayed returning them and making different excuses. And now saying they can’t find them and offering the minimum amount for my very expensive items. I learned that they have been stealing people’s merchandise and pretending that they have been lost. And now went out of business. We must legally go after this dishonest company.

Perhaps Maryam you're not saying that yesterday you've received a wire transfer with the amount that you requested as a refund for the loss of your two items, loss caused by the express courier as it can happen during shipping. There is nothing illegal we've been doing, there isn't a sigle lawsuit against us, and you know why? Because we've never acted unlawfully. You can be unhappy about the timing of the return of your items, but you cannot say that we acted illegally. Indeed we have a refund policy for the loss of the items during shipping, and many competitors do not have it at all and do not take responsability for that like we do instead. In your case, we also had proofs of delivery, which we sent to you, so it was not a loss as far as we're concerned, but we trusted you anyway when you said that, and we refunded you for the alleged loss. And now you even write that we are a dishonest company? We returned thousands of goods to our valued sellers over the past months because we're closing the business, and we can count here in Trustpilot just 10 bad reviews using the same hateful language that you use. 10 people that were not patient and could not just wait for their items to be returned like all the other sellers did without panicking for no reason, 10 people that did not report the whole story at all, 10 people that intentionally omitted all the details, 10 people that did not take any legal action at the end, because they could not at all, given that their items were returned or, for those few that the express courier lost, were refunded like in your case. Unlawful Practice

For the past 3 months I have been in communication with Lampoo asking for my items to be returned. They keep giving vague answers, one day saying that items are shipped then saying that items are in Italy then keep promising this will be fixed etc. buf it never is. Belo us the DHL link they gave me, it has not moved since a month ago lol

Lampo is keeping my items against my wish, which is unlawful, and in breach of our contract.

Im now planning legal action.

It took us 6 weeks to return thousands of goods. Perhaps yours belong to the latest batches. And if your goods have been lost, you'd be refunded, as per our policy. Why if you had planned to close the…

Why if you had planned to close the Chelsea Kings Rd store not email/contact the owners of all items that you had been trusted to sell on their behalf? So they could have collected them??? Why ship all items to another country/italy??? Surely that was one massive cost right? It would have been easier to get , well especially local people to come and pick up items.. but instead you sneaked off and shipped everything to Italy without people’s permission. And now you are saying you are going to the expense of shipping everything back again- with a business brain like this its not a surprised you have gone out of business. BUT you had every intention of theft and took the items.. now just sending out silly emails to cover yourself however no one will see their items again! Hopefully you will be seeing a prison cell very soon.

Dear C, the decision to send to Italy all the items that were in the Chelsea store was out to two reasons, many of them were not digitalised, so we could not sell them online on Lampoo.com, which we eventually did. The second reasons, for those there were already on Lampoo.com, is due to the fact the here in Italy our logistics partner, DHL Supply Chain, guarantee a high level of service and safety, so we did not have the need to find another partner in the UK, adding for sure more costs. At the time when we shipped all the goods to our HQ in Italy, nobody knew that we would shut down the service, perhaps you have not read about the fact that Farfetch and Matchesfashion have gone bankrupt recently, things for luxury fashion online players have worsened extremely fast over the past 3 months, we could not cope with that. So, as you can see, we had our reasons to do so. You items will be returned to you as much as all the others. Thank you.

Dear Gina, as said, we have already paid all sellers for the sales performed up to 31st January (the last wire transfer were all sent out on 26th Feb). We ve been cancelling all sales from 1st Feb (which is in our right to do), and we've been returning all unsold items to all our sellers at a pace of 1000/1200 items a day. So, what's your issue about an outstanding payment? Please write to support@lampoo.com and we'll take care of that, but stop saying that we're not acting correctly because this is not true. (Gina you have not written to support@lampoo.com, we do not know how to help you about the outstanding payment you are mentioning)

Disgusting experience with Lampoo

Disgusting experience with Lampoo from the very beginning. I consigned 6 very expensive items to the King's Road store in December, it took until February to list them online. Since then I sold 2 items and Lampoo team was not responding to any of my emails regarding the payment.

I can see now that the items were returned, as allegedly 'I initiated the return', which I did not.

Team is not responding to emails, phone is not working, the store is closed! Seems like you are just stealing the consigned items.

If I don't get clear communications about what is going on and when I receive my items back, I will engage my lawyer on that matter.

LAMPOO RESPONDS TO MY REVIEW BUT NOT TO MY EMAILS?

Lampoo flagged my previous review because it mentioned them withholding my property and ignoring correspondence. It's clear they're prompt in addressing negative feedback but neglectful of email communication. Lampoo, you need to address your customers emails to reassure them there is no foul play. Trustpilot, these genuine reviews highlight a recurring problem and should stay visible, maintaining Trustpilot's essence!

AVOID AVOID AVOID.

I had 17 bags listed with Lampoo. They sold two of them and I have initiated a returns on the 17th of January 2024. I am still waiting for my items to arrive. I am getting no reply from my emails or WhatsApp attempts, their phone number is inactive. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. I will be filing a lawsuit against them in the coming days.

Unprofessional, slow to return items, unorganised

Chelsea store shut down yet we were not offered the option to collect our items, instead all items were shipped to Italy. I have requested for an item to be returned since the 17th of January, I keep getting silly excuses, there is no reference number no tracking nothing. Also it seems that the UK number is not working anymore. Really bad experience and unprofessional.

Scam company

I ordered a ring online - the description of size did not match the image so I asked several people via email and Instagram to confirm. No one got back to me, I ended up buying the ring for a gift and now having received it it is too small. I’d like to return it but no option when logging into my account. No one picking up the phones or replying on Instagram. Scam site and company

Would not use again

Ordered on 23/11 - didn’t receive any communications. Checked the DPD tracking link on 10/12 and it said “returned to sender” in Japan. No answer on emails or phone line. Received a message today that the order has been refunded, so I will need to find an alternative gift. Would not use again.

Lampoo review

Terrible online service not to ever be used until they improve . Great shop and products along with friendly customer service. They need a new business adviser, need to address the shipping problem and extremely high charges , higher than Net a porter and Outnet and any other high end retailers. They do not keep track of their stock and the reason why some products are not shipped at all is because they have sold it on another platform and have not kept track of it.

I placed an order on the 23rd Nov…

I placed an order on the 23rd Nov ,payed in full +£12 express delivery to UK .I had no confirmation email, no contact from Lampoo re my order .I rang the nomber , spoke to someone who said they received my order, will post in the next 3 days.Since then I had no delivery info, no reply to my 7+ emails / enquiries to Lampoo customer care .Really disappointed , angry that they don’t bother getting in touch , or sending updates. Today is 5th dec , still no contact from them , and the phone lines now only provide a recorded message .I will have to get my money back from my credit card company .Please be aware ❌❌❌❌❌❌❌, would not recomend this company to anybody.Just unacceptable and they’ve got my money, no goods , no delivery info , no contact .

I researched the company , got his details and Email him with my issues. He was very apologetic and next available working day I did get my refund and postage cost . I bought a coat online - never sent it…

I bought a coat online and they confirmed the order. One week later no despatch email! So I called the number on the website loads - never answered. I emailed 3 times, nothing?!
