I would give zero stars

I would give zero stars, I’ve been ignored over email for weeks, can’t get through on the phone COMPLETE SCAM. They purposefully sent out the wrong product, I went out of my way to return it almost a month ago and they have not given me my money back, I’ve tried to get in contact but got a generic email back, disgraceful and embarrassing on your part and you should be ashamed to call yourself a business. This is against consumer rights and I will be taking this to the CEO. I gave you a deadline to get my money back and you haven’t even answered me, I sent proof of the return ages ago. AVOID AT ALL COSTS DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE

URGENT action required

URGENT action required! order number: 253205096898

Ordered a love seat which is not the right fit for our home. Spoke to customer service who logged the return and told us a delivery team would be in touch.
No one called or emailed despite us following up with La Redoute and being told by the customer service team they had.
Called Le Redoute again now for 4th time and 2 weeks later, that the customer service team didn't call or email us because they didn't have the right details for us and they had put the information in incorrectly. Promise to escalate problem and request courier details directly so we could arrange collection directly. Details never given.

Called multiple times since to now be met with total silence. Phone lines jammed for the past week with busy tone.

Love seat in perfect condition waiting to be collected and sitting in front room.

Totally unacceptable. I don't know what to do to get them to collect the item and issue a refund.

Now in over 3 weeks....I still haven't heard from them. Have called, emailed and tried their chat team online - also to be met with silence.

I will be reporting this to the Trading Standards Agency as well as the Ombudsmen if the collection and full refund of this item is not addressed immediately.

Item arrived damaged

Item arrived damaged. You can see where the packaging box is damaged. I sent photos with evidence to 2 different email address and not had a reply. Do not touch with a barge pole.

Used several times for Furniture

We’ve bought several pieces of furniture from La Redoute - from beds, to sofas and shelves. They have a good selection and some really tasteful Items. There were a couple of instances where we found the same item cheaper (from the original producer) so it pays to shop around before placing the order. But apart from that, no complaints.

3rd time, still not lucky

I have ordered a peacock linen duvet cover now 3 times and each time La Redoute have sent the wrong item!
1. Wrong colour
2. Right colour, but no button holes to close the end
3. Wrong colour
How do you keep doing consistently so bad?
I've lost too much time on the phone trying to sort out your incompetence!

Delivery times are apalling

I should’ve read the reviews before placing my order. Their delivery times are not competitive vs other online retailers. It’s been 5 days and i barely received news today that it’s being sent to UK warehouse. It was just a skirt.

Delivery terrible, customer service appalling …

I bought some furniture for a holiday house in Italy , 3 items in total. 2 items arrived( albeit later than originally indicated) and the 3rd did not ( the original indication of time was 3-6 days), it has since been changed to 3 weeks. Over 2 weeks , I repeatedly tried to get answers from the customer service, when they answered my queries, they provided me with product information and not information regarding my order. 6 weeks later, I have still not received the order. I told them that I would like a refund and they are refusing to do it. The order is suddenly able to be delivered in 2 weeks but we are not able to be here for the delivery! When phoning them, I was kept on hold for 15 minutes and then just cut off, email response was hostile, and in no way willing to admit that they were somehow at fault.

I have been a Laradoute customer for many years, after this experience- I will never buy from them again.

Oh dear LeRedoute 🫥😑

Sorry guys....buckle up...this is a long one SMH....🙄

I ordered a rug that didn't suit my front room - totally my fault but that's where the blame with me ends.....

I arranged a time for Evri to come and collect but they messaged me 3 days before to say they were in the area so was I available for collection - I didn't see the message as I was out, but when i did I answered and said yes.

The reply was he was no longer in the area and to just stick to the previously arranged time of Monday, so I thought nothing of it - it wasn't the arranged collection day anyway 🤷‍♀️

Monday (arranged day of collection 1) - nothing 👀

Tuesday - Nothing 👀

Wednesday - I called to say my item was not collected.
A very apologetic agent rearranged a collection for Thursday

Thursday (arranged day of collection 2) - Nothing 👀

Friday - I called again to say my item was not collected. Again a very apologetic agent rearranged a collection for Monday.

Also said they have escalated the issue and have put 'Urgent' on the escalation. They said someone from their team will be in contact with me as they have raised it with Evri as they don't know what the issue is.

Monday (arranged day of collection 3) - nothing 👀

Tuesday - I called yet again (3rd time) to say my item was not collected and I did not received any contact from anyone regarding the escalation.
Yet again a very apologetic agent rearranged a pick for Wednesday. 🤥

Wednesday - (arranged day of collection 4) nothing 👀

Thursday - I called yet again (4th time) to say my item was still not collected and I did not received any contact from anyone regarding the escalation. Also said that I am not bothered it's not picked up anymore, I just want a refund.
Agent was super apologetic - but it's not policy to issue a refund without receiving the item 🙄 and recited what everyone previously said 🤥

I asked for Evri number as it would seem that it's not policy to pick up a phone and talk directly to Evri (me or them) 🤷‍♀️

the saga continues.....

Had I read the reviews before ordering, I most definitely would not have ordered.

I hope someone from LaRedoute is monitoring their reviews on here as I can see no one is answering reviews as clearly no one wants to keep apologising and lying for this company that clearly is not making any improvements.
Look after your workers LaRedoute as I was calm when I rang...even on the 4th time but I know they will be getting very frustrated customers and even abuse 🫤

Fix up LaRedoute...it really doesn't have to be this way

Used this company for first time this week part order delivered in two days great if the item had been what I had ordered not a good time first order experience as shopping is meant to be a pleasant experience will not use again supposed to be collecting for return on Tuesday we will see

Second hand trainers covered in mud and cat hair

Ordered some New Balance trainers for my husband. When they were delivered I couldn't actually believe the state of them when I opened the box. They had blatantly been worn (several times by the looks of it) and returned and then re-sent out to me. They were covered in mud on the soles, cat hair and sock bobbles all on the inside. The absolute cheek to think we'd be OK with it. What's worse is that if we wanted a replacement we were told we'd have to pay and re-order and send the others back and wait up to 2 weeks for a refund; surely the onus should be on them to arrange a pick up/return of the used ones and replacement immediately?

Pretty awful experience

Pretty awful experience. Ordered 3 x pairs of trainers on a discounted deal to start using my account again after a long period without ordering, but then told 2 of the 3 pairs not in stock and a long delay on the others. Then ordered another pair which came in good time but in WORN, USED condition. Shocking. Will not use again.

Slow Delivery/Incorrect Size Sent

I placed an order for a Ralph Lauren dress size S (8/10 according to La Redoute's description) on 13th Mar 25. A day after the order is placed and paid for I get an email saying they're experiencing difficulties with orders fulfilled from the warehouse in France and it may take up to 15 days to receive my order. The order was delivered 21st Mar 25 and the label on the dress says UK size 6! I've had such repeatedly poor service from this company that I'm not going to use them again.

What a disappointment!!!

What a disappointment. I have waited for weeks now for an order I made in February. Unfortunately the items I've ordered have still not arrived and if they do, which I will be very surprised, they are unlikely to fit now as they were clothes for my new baby granddaughter. You may well say, nevermind you can return them and get your money back however the feedback on this site from people who have tried this provides me with little to no hope. So so annoyed as the clothes I ordered were so beautiful. 😞

You could not even make up a story of…

You could not even make up a story of how bad my experience was.

Ordered a desk only to receive two thirds of it with one third being damaged, then waited over a month with no update on the other third.

Went to get a replacement for the other third only for me to have to go out of pocket to pay for it, and then it was delivered to the wrong address and it was completely destroyed.

Customer service constantly say they will call you back and never do, such extreme levels of incompetence and ridiculous systems.

Please do not buy in this shop

Please do not buy in this shop. It is fraud. I waited few weeks for furniture which acc. to info published on their website should be delivered to me within 10 working days. I was not allowed to cancel the order. Quality of furniture was very poor. I immediately returned furniture to the shop (1 month ago); they even informed me I will be paid back 1132.07 EUR within 48 h but it did not happen. I will now involve lawyer. P.s I was finally paid back. It costed me a lot of effort.

Unacceptable assembly Instructions

Item was delivered and packed well. I am very annoyed by the poor assembly instructions , no numbered parts at all to identify the dozens of parts, and complete guesswork has to be involved wasting your valuable time. La Redoute please get your act together. An expensive item , probably way overpriced for what you get , overall the assembly instructions are unacceptable. I cannot recommend based on this headboard purchase.
