Great table, really well made. And a good price. But delivery was a joke and customer care non-existent. I give this 3 stars thinking I probably got lucky. I wouldn’t chance using them again and recommend you don’t either.
DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY
I purchased two items from this company (laredoute.fr). They were delivered no problem to my address in France. Both were damaged upon receipt. I immediately sent them photos/video of damaged items, and they said they would send someone to pick up the items and gave me a date and time (Dec 23 btw 9hr-11hr ). To make a very frustrating story short, I spent SO many days waiting for their delivery driver to pick up the items. I would track the driver, and he would miss my street, and then head away in the opposite direction. I would call them, and they would say "rest assured, he will be by today", and then nobody would show up. This happened FIFTEEN times. They rescheduled pick up fifteen times, and fifteen days I waited for someone to show up. I had to take time off, wasting so much time and money. To add insult to injury, they refused to refund my money until they received the items, but kept refusing to pick up the items, and then would off-handedly give me a new scheduled pick-up date without apologising, just asking me to be patient, and that they would "do what was necessary"... without specifics of what they would do to make sure the delivery was picked up. I got so enraged. Nobody would take accountability, and I was never speaking to the same person twice. My items were originally delivered to my home on Dec 18, supposed to be picked up Dec 23rd, and they finally picked up the items Feb 10, only after I tracked down the CEO's (Philippe Berian) personal email address and messaged both his business address and his personal address while cc'ing the customer service address. It didn't end there though, because I had to follow up too many times to receive my refund, because they kept telling me that they goods were not received. The refund finally came through in March. I will never order from this company again, and will tell everybody I meet to stay away. STAY FAR AWAY
La redoute send broken and damaged…
La redoute send broken and damaged goods, do not respond to multiple emails spanning WEEKS unless you leave a damaging review, at which point they suddenly respond within minutes and then want to waste more of your time to send back goods that will end up the skip - they can’t resell the item, they want me to wait in all day for a collection after ignoring me for weeks and worsted their carbon footprint unnecessarily. Nope 👎 poor customer service and poor morals. Ive quite clearly demonstrated the product is useless and damaged.
Further to this, they also removed my review from their own invite, as it ‘doesn’t meet their policy’ - despite it saying on their websites that they offer transparency with their own in house review platform.
A chargeback is going to cost them more with bank fees, but so be it.
Had to chase refund - see other TP site for this company!

There are 2 x TrustPilot pages for this company, one against the .com site and one against the .co.uk site - the other site shows higher ratings not at all consistent with the 1-star reviews here that also reflect my experience.
I returned a number of items and eventually received a refund for only one item even though they were all in the same package. I chased them for weeks on their official customer service e-mail address but heard nothing. Eventually found a complaint address and pursued it there and it was logged as "missing" and I got my refund - many many weeks later. It sounds from the other reviews here that I got away lucky!
Terrible experience
Zero customer service for a coffee table that arrived broken. How they can run a business like that astounds me. No contact, emails and whatsapp messages ignored. Over a month now since the table arrived and I cant use it, cant get a refund or replacement. Shocking.

I am bewildered by the many negative reviews, I ordered a puffa jacket priced at £49 and I am very pleased with the quality, and it only took 7days for delivery.
Order not received and not reimbursed after 2 Mon tu hs
I ordered 2 months ago with La Redoute, After few weeks, the order was not shipped, so we send email to la Redoute which after few exchange agreed to reimburse me and get the same product for the same price but we had to reorder ourself full price.
It's been now 2 months and I still haven't received the reimbursement for the first order and the difference with the second one.
They are not answering my emails, and when trying to call them, it hangs up after only 6mn waiting. Last time I successfully got a person on the phone, he was just asking me to wait without giving any useful information, and just hangs up on me after talking gibberish in German to me

I've been ordering from this place for a few years, and so far I've had only very good experiences. Yeah, their website acts a bit janky sometimes— but then I find all EU sites quite janky compared to America, where UI and customer service is well looked after— like I just placed an order for bed sheets and my account has been debited but everything is still showing in my cart as if I didn't finish placing the order. But I did. I will give them a day, trust I will eventually get a confirmation email.
Dudes, do try to get your site together, yeah? Buyer confidence and all that? spend a little on User Interface and it will reap hella rewards, trust me.
Bed sheets, quality better than expected
I ordered bed sheets, and they turned out exactly as I'd hoped. The fabric quality is surprisingly good, much better than I expected. I was initially hesitant to order because of the negative reviews, but I’m really happy with my purchase.

Attractive, comfortable and no problems with delivery
We admired the comfort and look of LaRedoute bed linen in a French guest house during the summer. On returning home we ordered duvet cover, towel and bedspread. Almost put off by the negative trustpilot reviews but hoped for the best.
We have now been using the items for 2 months. All have washed well. All were as comfortable as we hoped and we are very pleased with the quality. Shipping to Ireland occurred within the quoted time period. Will be using this site again, especially at sale time and highly recommend it.
Item not delivered, no replies from LaRedoute
Ordered an office table. Received a track and trace code for postNL quite fast. In the end, the item wasn't delivered and customer service from postNL told me that the item is too big to be delivered with them and another carrier should be used... Contacted LaRedoute both with WA and Messenger, no reply... I want my money back.
Can’t co-ordinate their sizing information or explain it clearly even when emailed
I was trying to order an item to be sent to me in Australia.
The drop-down menu to choose the garment size shows US and French sizes. The pop-up size guide shows body measurements in centimetres and UK sizes. So I could find my UK size by measuring myself, but had no way of knowing which size that corresponded to in US or French sizes, which is what I had to select to place the order.
I tried to find a French size chart to check, bit because I had made an account, the website kept defaulting to the “.com” site.
When something like this happens, I usually just move on without ordering, but I really wanted the item, so I contacted customer service, took screenshots, and carefully explained the problem.
The final response I received was that “UK and US sizes are the same”. I just checked, and that is not correct as a general rule. Is it correct for this brand? I don’t know, because they didn’t bother to explain that.
Also, why set up the sizing guide and drop-down with each showing a different selection of sizes? Put all three everywhere, then no-one will need to email and ask.
Won’t be ordering the item and should have known better than to waste my own time contacting the company about it.
Returned an order via their courier…
Returned an order via their courier collection service. Parcel was not scanned, courier claimed scanner broken but assured me it would get back to them. Called after refund not received and was told, on this occasion I would receive a refund as gesture of goodwill. Only partial refund received. So, apparently it was my fault the couriers they use are not trustworthy. Also, pointless ringing helpline as was told a pile of xxxx, rather like the quality of their goods.
SCAMMERS
Awful, I ordered crocs and converse and recieved fakes not even remotely close was like the primark versions! No logo nothing like the picture, I emailed and they emailed back saying they can assure me they are genuine! So I sent photos they had nothing to say. I’ve returned items 3 weeks ago still not got a refund currently under investigation as I paid through klarna. Avoid at all costs you won’t get your item nor your money back, they reply at first then start to ignore you once they know they’ve been caught out. I had a weird feeling about the company soon as I received my parcel seeing how badly fake they was so I videod all the barcodes the shoes and me bagging them up also me returning into the shop also picture of the return slip. So like to see them get out of this one. Shocking scammers AVOID AT ALL COSTS

This was my first, and will probably be my last order from La Redoute. Ordered several items WITHOUT READING THE REVIEWS ................I'm regretting this now!
A set of holes on my flat packed ladder shelving unit did not align so that has been returned.
I also bought two lights. They are made in India and are very nice. They weren't cheap, and was initially very pleased with them. However I was slightly concerned to see that they had European plugs and came with a flimsy looking conversion socket which the Euro plug slots into. However today I bought two new lightbulbs to test the lights. One worked intermittently, and the second not at all.
The unusual screw (which is not really holding the two sides together securely), appears to be one-directional, and will only tighten, so I can neither undo and retry the alignment, nor use a UK adaptor (regret not doing this is the first place).
I've written to La Redoute suggesting they:
a) fit a UK plug at source (unlikely, given it's a French company)
OR
b) stop selling this item as the conversion unit is not fit for purpose

I have to say I am shocked at the number of poor reviews on here. I have been shopping with La Redoute for a number of years now and have never experienced any of the issues other people have highlighted. The only negative I have is that the prices can be high but I always tend to shop the sales when there are some great bargains.
