Be aware of this company. I believe they are a scam.
I sold my property and closed my account with British Gas. Many months later I received a letter from LCSDR claiming to have a debt for 3 month for a period after the property was sold. I contacted a British Gas who told me they had no setup an account in my name and to contact this company directly to shut the claim down.
This company needs to be reported to the relevant authorities.DO NOT PART WITH YOUR MONEY!!!!
This company try any tactics do bully…
This company try any tactics do bully people out of money when they have no grounds whatsoever. Even when speaking with them they try any emails they can within the business with their threatening behaviour. Thankfully we have now been able to take it further and will be bringing their joke of a business to peoples attention for fraudulent claims.
DISGRACEFUL
We have been harassed by LCS for weeks despite Consumer Council for Water and Castle Water's looking into our case putting the invoice on hold until the dispute is solved. No communication between them and their client, just keep threatening you for no reason. Shameless!
BG has been chasing us.
BG has been chasing us for an electricity bill for a meter that does not seem to exist and certainly doesnt service our one room studio flat. It's a long story but briefly the account was set up a year before we bought the place in 2016 and since buying it tenants have paid the bills for the meter we do know is there.
Bills for this phantom meter came in regularly addressed to 'the occupier' with not always the correct address. On contacting BG we were told to ignore them unless our name was on them.
Then last November the now considerable debt was passed to lcsdr who had found our name but not our home address and we were threatened with court action.
Neither BG nor lcsdr seem to know what they are doing. The account number has been changed after the previous one was frozen and lcsdr has threatened us again after having said matters were put on hold because it was a different account number and they couldnt see it was the same debt.
It is now with the ombudsman.
I have a number that they seem to answer quickly 03444113281 and I have found the ladies who answer very sympathetic but I think they are out of their depth.
I think the fault lies with BG who dont deal with the issues themselves. They wouldnt even come out to the property to look for the meter because 'we didnt have an account with them'. You couldnt make it up !
LCS are crooks
Typical bully-boy, faceless company. I am in the process of taking them to court for "misappropriating" government funds and charging me for a bill that had arisen before I was even in the property. Stand firm against these people and give them as little information about you as they will harass you even further.
Incompetent Fools
These fools contacted me with a heavy handed letter at my home address on behalf of British Gas who were chasing an unpaid gas bill for a tenant at a rental property I own. Despite me assisting them the debt has somehow founds its way onto my own personal credit report, destroying my previously perfect credit score.
No way to contact them
Harrassment by automated phone calls which then say there is nobody available to accept the call once you accept it. YOU CANNOT TALK TO THESE PEOPLE - I have wasted hours trying to contact them
A company that does intimidation, bullying and harassment
An absolutely awful attitude with threatening letters sent all the time with total disregard for the facts and circumstances. Chased by LCS on behalf E.ON for an estimated debt of app. £ 175.00, while the actual debt turned out to be app. £ 24.00. It is hard to say who was worse and more useless, LCS or E.ON. It is amazing how these institutions get away with intimidation, bullying and harassment of innocent people. Shall be lodging a formal complaint with FSA.

DC companies never get a fair rating!
Debt collection companies are never going to get many stars lets be honest!
However, they held off whilst I investigated the money that was owed (even though I still feel HMRC were wrong!) But never the less this rating is for the company, and so far have been Ok with me and been on their website and is quite easy to use.
But ... my bank card they had on file expired and instead of ringing me, they just send a text, and a letter, why not Just ring me! Sorry, I forgot to ring them to update my card details. But apart from that its been quite painless (paying £90pm for 5 years! still having digs about the debt as you would, but the company were harmless, and quite helpful to me).
Easy to set up a minimum payment plan and just let it tick along, and don't get hassled from them.

Possibly the worst company on the planet
This may be the most useless, lazy and downright incompetent company i have ever had the displeasure of interacting with. Never, ever under any circumstances give them your information, because there is a 0% chance they will resolve the case in anything approaching your favour, and they will take 4 months and 10 useless phone calls to do so. 'Agents' will call you without knowing your case history and their awful hold system will hang up on you after 5 minutes so you can't even contact them yourself.
You are much better off just heating your house by burning the letters they send because at least that's a good use of the poor tree that died to send it. If there were negative star ratings I'd give them one.
Totally useless

She told me her name is Gloria but I assume this is not her real name.
Phone call was a total waste of time. Don’t even bother! They ask for my personal details but when you ask them if they have your details, she said no! I asked her why you need my details for then, when you can’t even confirm anything. Couldn’t even continue the call with that attitude.
LCS threatening non-existent British Gas costumer.
British Gas, please don't send your letters through LCS to me - it is a waste of paper. I am pretty annoyed that you are that dysfunctional that you can't even sort out your database.
You received my last payment on 22/10/2021 so don't send me your letters that I haven't paid for 4/10 /2021 and 5/10/2021.
very unpleasant debt collection agency
very unpleasant debt collection agency. Sent threatening emails demanding urgent payment, but don't answer the phone and take an age to respond to emails. When they do respond they just ask for reams of data that is in clear breach of GDPR rules
NOTHING TO WORRY ABOUT
THEY ARE A LEGITIMATE COMPANY THAT'S THE ONLY GOOD THING ABOUT THEM & THEY ALSO GO BY THE NAME LCSDR
IDLE THREAT'S AT BEST FROM THEM PHONE CALLS,LETTERS & TEXTS
IF YOU DO HAVE ANY CONTACT WITH THEM JUST IGNORE THEM AS THEY HAVE NO POWERS AT ALL TO GET ANY MONEY OWED
YOU HAVE A BETTER CHANCE OF WINNING THE LOTTERY THAN THEM GETTING ANY MONEY FROM YOU
THAT'S A FACT
BEST ADVICE FOR YOU IS DO NOT GET STRESSED FROM THEM AT ALL
HOPE THIS HELPS YOU
