Scammers

Scammers. They told me on the phone that the cost would be approx $180, ended up charging me $600 for 1 minutes work. I asked how it went from approx $180 to $600 he said “the call out fee is on the website”, I said “so 20mins ago when you said $180 you didn’t know about the call out fee but now you do”. He didn’t even work on my lock for more than 1 minute. I’m reporting them to the police.

Be careful !!! They are SCAMMER

This company is a scam in every sense. In fact, it is so deceptive that payments are being deposited into the account of *Top Lock and Key Services Ltd*, while the company name on Google is listed as *24/7 Locksmith*, and it is exploiting the name *247 Locksmith*.
I recently received service for a lock when I had lost the key. Although I had initially called the company to provide my address, and the locksmith personally called me again to confirm it, he arrived and drilled into the wrong hole. This happened due to a
moment of my negligence, despite the fact that I pointed out the correct hole to him!
He was incredibly rude and didn't even introduce himself. Afterward, he proceeded to blame me for the mistake and charged me an additional £288 for breaking into my neighbor's mailbox, bringing the total to over £500!
He insisted that I leave him alone while he worked, stating he would call me back once he was done. When I called the company at *08085880354*, someone answered the phone in a very rude manner, shouting at me and telling me it was my fault for trusting the employee and leaving him alone.
The locksmith claimed that he had many numbers in his head throughout the day and that it was my fault for not ensuring he double-checked the address or confirmed with me before drilling into a completely different keyhole.

Locksmith bandits

I couldn't get into my study where all my documents, Computer etc. are kept and found this Company on a local website for Tilehurst, Reading. They broke every promise on their website i.e. they took 2 hours to arrive, charged a call out fee, drilled out the lock in 5 minutes, charged nearly £300, which I had to pay immediately and then went. I should have told them to get lost but I needed access to my study so I paid.
I think they are franchised and are doing this kind of thing all over the country. Beware of them.

Terrible scamming company.

Terrible scamming company. Had them out to look at replacing my lock a year ago - they didn’t have any suitable locks for the style of my door but only then said it was a £50 fee unless I bought something. I grudgingly chose a lock that has been very insecure and has just broken. When I asked the company to come and replace it as it’s only a year old they won’t do anything without an invoice number (which I was never given). Do not use them

DO NOT USE

Two guys arrived said it was $200 plus gst and call out fee for a basic $12 bunnings lock.
Website states no call out fee and quote to be provided over the phone before being in contact with a technician. No prices of any kind were provided over the phone.
The website is misleading inferring decent prices stating from $29.
Technician continued interrupting me and would not let me ask about “the website stating an estimate for the work needed before being in contact with a technician however you’re saying they cannot provide an estimate as there a different types of locks. Whats the policy and why is the website and yourself stating contradictory statements?”
I had to go back and forth with the technician who constantly interrupted me to wipe the call out fee after showing the technicians their website stating “no call out fee no charge to come”.
The same technician was rude and kept interrupting and argued that gst is on top of the $200 fee when I tried telling him it should already be in the upfront fee how do I know they’re not trying to pocket an extra $20.
He began to tell me it’s the service industry and described a written invoice to me. I explained to him when you verbally tell a client you tell them the total fee and break it down verbally if needed. The consumer must know upfront total fee just like when you purchase anything else.he interrupted me and doubled down
I paid $220 to unlock a $12 bunnings lock as my disabled child was becoming dysregulated and I didn’t have time to wait for anyone else.

Technician also refused to pass feedback onto the Office

I do not recommend or will use this company again (247 locksmiths in Sydney)

Should have read reviews, but I was panicked. Left my keys inside, needed one lock picked, was charged £198 for him to use 2 pieces of plastic to open the lock. What a scam. Horrible company.

Online Services 24/7 Ltd - Do not use them

This company called Online Services 24/7 Limited defrauded me and really should be shut down for defrauding people. They charged .£538 for a job that should have cost no more than £200. The man lied and told me his name was Alan. I later discovered that his name is Florin and he is the only director and shareholder of this fraudulent company. You can check the company details at Companies House online.

With his intimidating physique, women would definitely be worried about disputing his fraudulent charges. I pray this company is eventually shut down and the owner/ director prevented from ever working as a locksmith.

Avoid at all costs

Avoid at all costs! We hired them in a hurry when our back doors wouldn't close or lock, and we regret not doing our research beforehand. Our receipt lists 'All Services 4 U,' so it seems they subcontracted the work. For a new lock, gearbox, and labor, we were charged a staggering £598! Even though it was late on a Sunday evening, we feel completely ripped off.

Should have read the reviews first.

Read the reviews first and make sure you know what you are paying for! Unfortunately I didn't. Whilst the service was quick and the technician was really nice, the costs and extras were not justified. The cost of the lock they supplied (£120 + VAT) was far above market price (£10 inc VAT) and the extra labour charge (£69 + VAT) on top of call out charge (£59 + VAT) meant a hefty charge for something that was not an 'emergency'. Feel a bit 'scammed' as the guy on the phone could have been clearer as I was clear it was not an emergency, but I do have a working lock again. Just do your homework and probably only use if it is a genuine emergency.

To note, this is not 24/7 London Locksmiths. Sounds like the two get confused.

These guys are total scam artists

These guys are total scam artists.
Like others on this site they said it would be £45 for the call out and in the end they charged me £354 and made up some nonsense of why it would cost that much. Do not use these guys, they are crooks. I feel like I've been mugged.
